### Rules

The number on the green node shows the number of steps to the closest colorful node.

This means that there can be more than one colorful node in this range, but there can’t be any colorful nodes closer than this number of steps.

Example. The green 2 should have at least one colorful node two steps away from it, and all nodes one step away from it should be blank.

Example. The green 3 should have at least one colorful node three steps away from it, and all nodes 1-2 steps away from it should be blank.

The number on the blue node shows the number of steps to the second closest colorful node.

This means that there can be more than one colorful node in this range, and there can’t be more than one colorful node closer than this number of steps.

Example. The blue 2 should have at least two colorful nodes 1-2 steps away from it, but no more than one colorful node one step away from it.

The blue 2 can have:

one colorful node one step away from it and one (or more) colorful node two steps away from it

OR

zero colorful nodes one step away from it and two (or more) colorful nodes two steps away from it.

Example. The blue 3 should have at least two colorful nodes 1-3 steps away from it, but no more than one colorful node 1-2 step away from is.

The blue 3 can have:

one colorful node 1-2 steps away from it and one (or more) colorful node three steps away from it

OR

zero colorful nodes 1-2 steps away from it and two (or more) colorful nodes three steps away from it.

The number on the red node shows the number of steps to the third closest colorful node.

This means that there can be more than one colorful node in this range, and there can’t be more than two colorful nodes closer than this number of steps.

Example. The red 2 should have at least three colorful nodes 1-2 steps away from it, but no more than two colorful nodes one step away from it.

The red 2 can have:

one colorful node one step away from it and two (or more) colorful nodes two steps away from it

OR

two colorful nodes one step away from it and one (or more) colorful node two steps away from it

OR

zero colorful nodes one step away from it and three (or more) colorful nodes two steps away from it.

Example. The red 3 should have at least three colorful nodes 1-3 steps away from it, but no more than two colorful nodes one step away from it.

The red 3 can have:

one colorful node 1-2 steps away from it and two (or more) colorful nodes three steps away from it

OR

two colorful nodes 1-2 steps away from it and one (or more) colorful nodes three steps away from it

OR

zero colorful nodes 1-2 steps away from it and three (or more) colorful nodes three steps away from it.

The easiest rule to understand. The number in the middle of the hexagon shows the number of colorful nodes on the hexagon.

### Green Tutorial

The green 1 needs one colorful node one step away from it. There is only one covered node, and it is colorful.

The green needs for all nodes one step away from it to be blank. The covered node is blank.

The green 2 needs one colorful node two steps away from it. However, it also needs for all nodes one step away from it to be blank. So, the first covered node in this chain is blank and the second node is colorful.

The second node is a green 1. It needs one colorful node one step away from it, so the final covered node is colorful.

### Levels 1-4

The green 2 can’t have colorful nodes one step away from it and should have at least one colorful node two steps away.

Two nodes one step away from the green 2 should be blank, and the node two steps away from the green 2 should be colorful.

The green 3 can’t have colorful nodes 1-2 steps away from it and should have at least one colorful node three steps away.

Three nodes 1-2 steps away from the green 3 should be blank, and the node three steps away from the green 3 should be colorful.

The green 1 needs at least one colorful node one step away from it. There is only one covered node in this range – it should be colorful.

### Blue Tutorial

The blue 2 needs one colorful node two steps away from it. There is only one like that.

The green 2 needs all nodes one step away from it to be blank.

The blue 2 needs one other node one or two steps away to be colorful. There is only one node left, and it is colorful.

Lets look at the left chain first. If the covered node is colorful, it will break the blue 2, since it needs no more that one colorful node one step away from it. Therefore, the covered node is blank.

Lets look at the right chain. If the covered node it blank, it will break the blue 1 – it needs two colorful nodes one step away from it. Therefore, the covered node is colorful.

Lets look at the bottom left chain first. The blue 3 needs no more than one colorful node one or two steps away from it. There is one already (the green 2), so the covered node is blank.

Lets look at the top right chain. The blue 2 needs another colorful node 1-2 steps away from it, so the covered node is colorful.

### Levels 5-10
