Quick guide for adding better Ultra Widescreen support + custom FOV with some hex edits as well as ultra wide cut scenes. The game has half-assed support for ultra wide aspect ratios. Sometimes you’ll get it, sometimes it’ll fallback to 16:9. This fix will prevent that.

Aspect Ratio
Press Ctrl+G, and search for offset:
You should see:
Replace it with whatever your resolution/aspect ratio is:
- 21:9 (2560×1080)
- 21:9 (3440×1440)
- 21:9 (3840×1600)
- 32:10
- 32:9

Do the same for:
Save your changes (Ctrl+S), and you can test it out.

Open Cheat Engine, select process (top-left)
and Select Chronos-Win64-Shipping.exe
Press Add Address Manually, and add with the following:
Double-click its value, and change the 0E in 35 FA 0E 3C to adjust your FOV. Refer to the chart below:
I am using a 3440×1440 (21:9) monitor and I keep mine at 5E (94 FOV).

Once you find the FOV you like, close the game and go back to HxD.
Ctrl+G again to go to offset:
Locate the hex value:
And replace it with 35 FA XX 3C, XX being your desired value.
Do the same for:
Done!
Minor bug during cut scenes with a black screen. You can see the world behind it, but that’s about it. Nothing (at least from my gameplay) that will affect your play.
