This gaming guide article will provide a comprehensive walkthrough for achieving 100% completion in Legends of Savvarah: Time of Pariah. It includes all possible endings and plot points, as well as a visual flowchart of all the different paths in the game. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, this guide will help you navigate through the game with ease.
==={ Introduction }===
First and foremost, the novel’s internal logic has been compiled into a flowchart viewable on and downloadable from Google Drive here[drive.google.com].
(Drive’s native PDF viewer is a bit odd with files of this size – downloading and viewing locally may be required to get it at a reasonable level of zoom.)
This chart maps out each choice in a scene, the variables set by each choice, and the conditions checked at each branch, allowing one to plot their own route through the novel in order to see particular scenes or predict the effects a choice might have.
For those who are just looking for the achievement-marked bits of the story, however, each one’s context is described broadly and a detailed route is given below.
The achievements are broadly divided into two categories: Endings, and mid-plot events. These can overlap somewhat: the routes necessary to get each ending will unlock many of the plot-beat achievements, but seeing a given plot event doesn’t guarantee any particular ending. For that reason, the ending-specific achievements and routes have been detailed first.
==={ Epilogues }===
Epilogue 1
Everything is still ahead
The most commonly-found ending. At some point during most playthroughs, Hidu will consider the possibility of simply running away from all the chaos in Seihal. Do so, and Epilogue 1 will be reached.
- Nesher
- [Pick either choice]
- Sudu
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- Sudu
- Black Horn
- [Pick either choice]
- (Run out of town.)
Epilogue 2
Everything is still ahead. And you are not alone
A unique variant of Epilogue 1. If the player confronts Sudu after being told about two guards’ involvement in the incident, and presses him insistently enough, Hidu will be thrown in jail. Refusing to use Hidu’s history with Nesher as a means of bartering for a way out (or not doing so thoroughly enough) will result in a succession of characters turning up to offer to spring Hidu from jail. If the player has slept with Viorra, Otkor will be one of them. Accept his offer and get him to deliver word to Viorra, and she will escape Seihal with him.
- Honey House
- (Wait for the conversation to end.)
- To see you.
- I’ll need to go.
- Red Shiv

- If the (Aggressive style.) choice was picked, the player will be presented an additional choice here. Either option can be picked.
- I’d be happy to.
- [Pick either choice]
- Nesher
- [Any options can be picked until the end of the scene. This one is necessary for granting access to the following scene, but nothing in it will affect the route to Epilogue 2.]

- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- (Say nothing.)
- [Pick either choice]
- (Decline.)
- Tell Viorra I’ll wait for her at the city’s exit.
Epilogue 3
You are finally free. Truly free
This epilogue is reached by helping Nesher carry out his plan against Balas. Most ways of ending up on this path involve being inducted into Balas’s conspiracy while earning a high enough relationship with Nesher that he will let Hidu in on his plan to undermine it, but (as demonstrated in the route below) it can also be found by stumbling onto Nesher mid-mutiny. If Nesher survives the fight against Balas, Hidu and Ida will flee Seihal together.

- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- Go to Nesher again. Sneak up and watch his lair.
- (Try to talk.)
- [Pick either choice]
Epilogue 4
Fate of a deserter
This ending can be reached in two main ways: Either accepting Nesher’s offer of mutiny and letting him die in the fight with Butar, or taking Nesher’s cart of explosives for yourself and using it on Varos while not stopping for the side objective encountered along the way. After either of these are done, Hidu will attempt to leave the city, but will have been delayed enough to encounter the soldiers that Balas’s conspiracy was meant to summon.

- I can’t make that decision right away.
- Nesher
- (Eat.)
- Honey House
- [Any choices can be picked until the end of the scene. An important flag for route progression is set in this particular scene, but it is set no matter what the player chooses.]
- Black Horn
- I wanted to check how you are.
- Well, yes. Why, by the way?
- I met with her and we talked.
- I… um… slept with her.
- Well… it’s just happened.

- (Attack first.)
- (Accept Nesher’s help.)
- [Pick either option]
- (Attack.)
- [Pick either option]
Epilogue 5
Traitor? It depends on the point of view
This ending is reached by being sent on Balas’s raid (either at his side or with Nesher), and impressing Balas enough that he offers membership in his gang. Joining up will see one of several epilogues unlocked – this one if Hidu hasn’t done certain things in the Honey House, and Epilogue 23 or 24 otherwise.

- I’m ready.
- Been dreaming of this for a long time.
- (Rush forward.)
- Killed, of course.
- (Join.)
Epilogue 6
Betrayed by everyone
This ending is reached in much the same way as the last one. Get sent out on Balas’s raid at his side, but do not earn enough affinity to gain his trust, and after the raid is carried out successfully this epilogue will be shown.

- What is my role in all this?
- But… why?
- I’m ready.
- I don’t like pointless violence.
- (Hide behind the shadows.)
- No need to kill him.
Epilogue 7 / 8
Retribution
Death will catch up with you anyway
This ending can be reached after being inducted into Balas’s conspiracy and sent off to recruit Red Shiv. If your affinity with her is too low, having her survive the ensuing conflict (and killing Charak in the process) will leave Hidu somewhat rudderless. Opting not to leave the city will eventually give Hidu an audience with Taka, Black Horn’s patron, and lead to one of two endings depending on whether Hidu chooses to give up his information on Balas.
- Red Shiv
- [Pick either choice]
- (Stay.)
- (Try to disarm.)
- I need to talk to you.

- I need answers first.
- I don’t care about Shiv, I want answers.
- (Follow Nesher.)
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- What is my role in all this?
- Alright, I’ve got it.
- (Try talking.)
- (Help Red Shiv.)
- [Pick either choice]

- (Challenge Varos.)
- [Pick either choice] (x3)
- To earn Epilogue 7: (Tell about Balas.); (Send some of the mercenaries to investigate); [pick either choice]
- To earn Epilogue 8: (Don’t tell about Balas.)
Epilogue 9
Fate of bandits
This ending is reached by letting Red Shiv take out Black Horn’s gang – either by killing Butar, or by killing Varos after his coup. These scenarios happen in cases where Hidu is on at least relatively good terms with Shiv, so afterwards she offers Hidu the opportunity to join up with her and take control of all Seihal. Accepting leads directly into this epilogue.
- Black Horn
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- I’ll go gather information.
- Red Shiv
- [Pick either choice]

- [Pick either choice] (x4)
- (Go to Red Shiv.)
- (Help Red Shiv.)
- [Pick either choice]
- Take control of this place, of course.
Epilogue 10
Patriot
This ending is reached by going on Balas’s raid alongside him while Charak is dead. This leaves nobody to prevent Nesher from executing his mutiny, and so the patriot achieves his goals.
- Red Shiv
- [Pick either choice]
- (Stay.)
- (Try to disarm.)
- [Pick either choice]

- [Pick either choice] (x2)
Epilogue 11
Senseless and ruthless revolt
This ending is reached by joining Varos after he seizes control of the Black Horn gang – either by being there when he kills Butar, or by leading Red Shiv to him afterwards and then choosing to help Varos in the ensuing conflict.
- Red Shiv
- [Pick either choice]
- (Stay.)
- (Try to disarm.)

- [Pick either choice] (x4)
- (Stay with Varos’s gang.)
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
Epilogue 12
Time of the scoundrel. A rich scoundrel
This ending is reached similarly to most of the routes for Epilogue 9. When Red Shiv proposes taking control of the place, the player will have the option to instead choose to stop and figure things out. If Nesher and Sudu are both alive, this may result in the option to lead the guards on a raid of Nesher’s hideout, which earns this ending.
(If Sudu is dead, on the other hand, Hidu is forced to go alone – which results in his death.)
- Red Shiv
- [Pick either choice]
- (Stay.)
- (Try to disarm.)
- [Pick either choice]
- If the “I just defend myself” choice was picked, the player will be presented an additional choice here. Either option can be picked.

- (Go with guards.)
Epilogue 13 / 14 / 15 / 16
You left with Butar
Such bastards can’t be trusted
Cowards are vengeful
This is not the end. Neither for you nor for Butar
All four of these endings describe different points along the same route. After saving Butar from Varos’s coup, the player spends some time talking with him in hiding. After this, he can be convinced to leave the city, or to assassinate his patron. If Butar’s plan for that is followed, all of the outcomes to this are their own unique endings.

Epilogue 17
Now you’re a guard
This ending can be reached after getting Sudu to be interrogated by Black Horn. If he survives that scene, he will be a periodic presence through Varos’s coup, eventually presenting the option to switch allegiances to him and the guard. After doing so, if the player avoids the few (relatively obvious) choices that would lead to a quick death, they will be on track to get Hidu a spot on the guard and earn this ending.

Epilogue 18 / 19
A life for a life
Sins of the past
These endings are two endpoints of the same plot. After accompanying Red Shiv to her meeting with Nadjar, the player is given the opportunity to tell her about Nadjar. Doing so triggers an attack by Charak, after which the player can either leave the city (one of many ways to earn Epilogue 1) or go to Nesher. Attacking Nesher and bringing his cart of explosives to Sudu will then put the player on track for one of these endings, depending on their choices.

- To earn Epilogue 19: (Disarm him.); (Stay with the guard.)
Epilogue 20 / 21
The Ballad of Bandits
You’re just expendable
These endings are reached by reaching the scene where Red Shiv goes to her meeting with Nadjar without telling Nesher about Shiv’s prisoner. When that interrogation to turn up any useful intel, choosing not to tell about Nesher sees Hidu come up with a fabrication that eventually results in Red Shiv leading an assault on Taka’s compound – running directly into Balas and his gang doing the exact same thing. Choosing alleigances in the middle of that mess determines which of the endings are earned.

Epilogue 22
You live in the Honey House
A very easy ending to get. When returning to the Honey House during a playthrough, sleep with Viorra. There are a lot of opportunities to flirt with her and earn relationship affinity, and the two start off with a pretty high affinity to reflect their status, so if you are at all trying to go for this event it is probably going to happen. After sleeping with Viorra, she will offer to let Hidu stay at the Honey House. Accept the offer, and this ending is earned.

- (Stay at the Honey House.)
Epilogue 23 / 24
You are the right hand of the Mistress of the Honey House
Together on any side
This ending is earned by romancing Viorra and getting Balas to try to capture his niece. If the player pays a first-act visit to the Honey House and peeks in on the conversation they overhear, the knowledge gained from that can be conveyed to Balas during a conversation in Nesher’s basement. Go on the raid at his side, and if Balas is impressed enough to let Hidu join his gang (and Hidu has had sex with Viorra), he will act on that information and bring Hidu along. The player is presented with a choice once the Honey House is reached, and their choice there will decide which ending is earned.
- Honey House
- (Peek.)
- Me? Recognized? I don’t know all the girls here.
- I won’t tell anyone. Viorra is right – I know where Nesher is and I haven’t say it to anyone.

==={ Plot Beats }===
Let’s go!
You’re at the beginning of your story
This achievement unlocks at the very beginning of the story, upon reaching the first map screen. It will be unlocked no matter what the player does.
Secret
You learned something you shouldn’t know
This achievement is unlocked upon a first-act visit to the Honey House, if the player chooses to peek at the conversation they stumble into.
- Honey House
- (Peek.)
The achievement will unlock before the next choice.
Coup
Varos is rising to the top
This achievement is unlocked when going to Black Horn’s inn after spending an extended amount of time tailing Sudu, and discovering Varos executing a coup to take control of Black Horn’s gang.
- Nesher
- [Pick either choice]
- Sudu
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- Sudu
- Black Horn
- [Pick either choice]
The achievement will unlock before the next choice.
Circumstances / The Real Butar
You and Butar became close
Now you know what he is like
These achievements are unlocked in quick succession after escaping the coup with Black Horn – either by stumbling onto the plot while Varos is executing it, or by intervening to prevent Varos’s murder attempt after the interrogation of Sudu. The extended conversation that follows in hiding will allow the opportunity to sleep with Butar (earning the Circumstances achievement), and will always result in an expositional chat which gives the The real Butar achievement.
- Perform the route as stated in the Coup section above, then continue as follows:
- (Go around the building and try to save Butar.)
- [Pick either choice]
- You mean a lot to me.
- (Circumstances is unlocked here)
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
The real Butar will unlock before the next choice.
Flame of Rahana
You met Balas sukhu Denhiar
This achievement is unlocked after being formally introduced to Balas in Nesher’s basement. There are many ways to end up there in the course of a playthrough, and all of them should award this achievement.
- Perform the route as stated in the Coup and Circumstances/The Real Butar sections above, then continue as follows:
- (Stay with Butar.)
- (Support assassination of Tertishin.)
- (Tell about Nesher.)
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
The achievement will unlock before the next choice.
Grr! / Savage / Prisoner
You took Red Shiv
You slept with Red Shiv… Or rather, she slept with you
You saw him
These achievements can all be unlocked during a first-act visit to Red Shiv’s territory. After getting along well with Red Shiv, she will engage Hidu in a sparring duel. The approach taken during that duel will determine which of her two romance scenes are earned, each with their own unique achievement. After sleeping with Red Shiv, choosing to join her gang will result in Hidu being shown the prisoner and unlocking that achievement.
- Red Shiv
- [Pick either choice]
- (Stay.)
- (Try to disarm.)
- [Pick either choice]
- If the “I just defend myself” choice was picked, the player will be presented an additional choice here. Either option can be picked.

- For the Savage achievement: (More defensive.)
- (Sleep with her.)
- If the (Aggressive style.) choice was picked, the player will be presented an additional choice here. Either option can be picked.
- I’d be happy to.
Prisoner will unlock before the next choice.
Cheater!
Cheated? Give up a finger!
This achievement can be unlocked when choosing not to accompany Red Shiv to her meeting with Nadjar. If Nesher was not told about Shiv’s prisoner, Charak and the assassins will be delayed long enough for Hidu to choose to play a game of cards – and then cheat, and then be given the previously-described penalty for cheating.
- Perform the route as stated in the Grr!/Savage/Prisoner section above, then continue as follows:
- Nesher
- [Pick either choice]
- (Don’t tell about Red Shiv’s prisoner.)
- Red Shiv
- (Do not go to Nadjar with Shiv.)
- (Play.)
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- (Try to cheat.)
- Alright.
The achievement will unlock before the next choice.
Recklessness / You’re Not a Hero
Sometimes you need to act against all odds
Die? For what?
These achievements can be unlocked when tailing Sudu after informing Nesher of Red Shiv’s prisoner. This will unlock the ability to go directly to Nesher’s hideout, at which point Hidu is given enough warning of the upcoming terrorist action to leave preemptively – or, should he so choose, to jump Nesher, escape that building, and then try to navigate the impending catastrophe with Red Shiv.
- Perform the route as stated in the Grr!/Savage/Prisoner section above, then continue as follows:
- Nesher
- [Pick either choice]
- (Tell about Red Shiv’s prisoner.)
- [Pick either choice]
- Black Horn
- (Tell.)
- [Pick either choice]
- (Defend Sudu.)
- [Pick either choice]
- (Tail Sudu.)
- Nesher
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
- For the Recklessness achievement: (Attack Nesher.)
- For the You’re not a hero achievement: (Agree and leave.)
- [Pick either choice] (x2)
Whichever final option is picked, the achievement will unlock before the next choice.
Black Mark
Now Black Horn wants you dead
This achievement can be unlocked when Black Horn is interrogating Sudu. If the player chooses to defend Sudu while having a low enough reputation with Black Horn, things will go wrong and Sudu will end up dead anyway. In the confrontation that follows, Black Horn will attempt to kill Hidu, and running away will earn a permanent disavowal – and an achievement.

Behind Bars / Run and Shadow / You’re a scum, but you can live
Don’t mess with the guard
You escaped with Charak
Shiv didn’t kill you
These achievements can be unlocked in quick succession after confronting Sudu after being told that two guard officers were involved in the incident. Being aggressive enough with your accusations will get Hidu thrown in jail, earning the Behind Bars achievement – and shortly thereafter offered the opportunity to break out with Charak, earning the Run and shadow achievement. That will put the player on a story path where Hidu is tasked with recruiting Red Shiv to Balas’s cause. Having a low enough reputation with her that she attacks you on sight, but then making the choices to ensure that both Hidu and Red Shiv survive the ensuing encounter, will cause Red Shiv to declare the two even and grant the You’re a scum, but you can live achievement.
