Welcome to our gaming guide for Robots Forever on the Landfall Archives! In this article, we will provide descriptions for all of the guns featured in the game. We may even see a Robots Forever 2 version in the future, including all the different enemy types. So let’s dive in and learn more about the weapons in this exciting game.
Pistol/Revolver
Makes you feel cool for taking down a giant walking death machine with a pistol.
I’m pretty sure the revolver is just a re-skin of the pistol.
Assault Rifle
Steady rate of fire, steady damage, kind of just there while most of the other weapons have ups and downs.
This might be why Robots Forever 2 gives it a homing missile variant.
The length means it will also occasionally get caught in the characters arms making you unable to aim well unless you want to be turned in a certain direction until it corrects itself.
Here’s an image of it doing the “arm thing” all guns can do this but the ones I mention are the ones I’ve seen do it the most often.
Sniper
Robots will usually out-damage you before you can kill them (maybe I’m just not good at using it?)
A few bugs as this game was meant to just be a concept until April Fools, the scope will just stop working sometimes and become a static image of some other location you scoped on before and it also suffers from the length issue where it gets stuck in your arms.
If you make it past the first floating island you could probably chill on the bridge, watch most of the robots fall off, and then clean up the rest.
Shotgun
Also kind of long, meaning it gets caught int your arms but it seems to correct itself easier.
You’ll probably get messed up by the fast robots with the buzz-saws as you both need to be in close range to do anything to each other.
Sub-Machine Gun
Focused fire on a single enemy will likely deal enough damage to kill it or knock off most of its limbs, restricting its movement.
Gatling Gun
When fired it emits a blinding light when fired (image doesn’t do it justice) but the damage is worth it.
Rocket Launcher
Deals good damage but also damages you so you’ll probably blow yourself up because of an enemy somewhere down the line.
Net Bow
Restricts enemy movement with big red laser nets.
Its funny to watch the robots struggle and shoot at you while you keep firing the stupid nets.
Turns flying robots into bricks with guns.
This is an image of the next gun but they look the same so I didn’t feel like taking an extra picture.
Laser Bow
Identical in design to the net bow but fires smaller, less damaging, explosive projectiles compared to the rocket launcher.
You already saw a picture of it on the last section.
Grenade Launcher
Faster rate of fire than the rocket launcher.
The End
Might make a Robots Forever 2 version that is more enemy focused as they made enemy types rather than different mix-and-match pieces like in this game.
Here’s that picture of me about to shoot a microwave to death 🙂
