Welcome to the Lakeburg Legacies Achievement Guide! This guide will help you to unlock every achievement in the game. While I have done my best to gather all the information, there may still be some things that are not completely confirmed. If you have any suggestions or updates, please leave a comment! Let’s dive in and conquer all the achievements in Lakeburg Legacies.
Advice
Guide Section 1
Go into the recruitment menu and pay to recruit a new villager 5 times.
1. First recruitment available: November 17, Year 1 (8 gold)
2. Second recruitment first available: February 26, Year 2 (16 gold)
3. Third recruitment first available: June 26, Year 1 (4 months later) (24 gold)
4. Fourth recruitment first available: December 4, Year 1 (5 months, 9 days later) (36 gold)
5. Fifth recruitment first available: July 11, Year 2 (7 months, 7 days later) (44 gold)
Note that the next recruitment will always be available a certain time period after you last recruited, not on the specific dates (so for example if you wait to do the second recruitment on March 26 instead of February 26, then the third recruitment won’t be available until 4 months after March 26)
Kingdom come – Lakeburg just crowned its very first sovereign!
In the Build menu, the 7th item down in the “Primary Resources and Prestige” path is the Castle. Once you build the castle, you’ll be able to fill the Sovereign slot in the Throne Room. Placing someone as King or Queen will complete this achievement.
Next! – Reject 200 suitor profiles.
In the Couples menu in the matchmaking menu, hit the “Hum… No” button at the middle bottom of the screen to reject the profile 200 times. This can be done across multiple play-throughs.
Productivity Rules! – Fill all slots in a production building.
Choose one production building (likely the Farm, as it’s the most important at the beginning of the game, but you can choose any). Unlock all five of the production slots by purchasing them using the required resources. Then fill all five slots with a villager workers.
Hamlet – Have 20 inhabited houses.
This one is pretty straight forward. In the Houses menu, click the ‘Build’ button to add a new house 20 times. Then have at least 20 families (or single villagers) to fill all 20 houses.
Slave to desire – Have 20 villagers with the Lustful trait at the same time.
To have the best chances of earning this achievement, make sure you keep your Lust bar as close to 100% filled as possible. This means filling every slot in the Pleasure House with the best possible workers (villagers with the highest Athletics percentage, as this is the only thing that impacts how well a villager does in the Pleasure house).
Lakeburg elders – Have 10 villagers with a citizenship level of 8.
This achievement goes along with the “I feel good!” achievement below. When villagers’ needs are satisfied then their citizenship level gradually goes up. You’ll need to increase your stockpiles to have at least one of each resource in all categories for ten villagers and keep it that way until all of their citizenship bars (the bar at the top right of the character menu) have increased to 8.
Deal! – Bartering 20 times in one game.
Ernesto will come to visit every couple of months. When he arrives, the Barter window of the left side of your screen will show a small green checkmark next to it. Click on this every time he comes and accept the trades with him. Do this 20 times in one game to get the achievement.
Raised by wolves – Sadly, even children can end up living in the street.
Two ways to get this one:
1. Have both of a child’s parents die. This would mostly have to be luck, but one way you could force this is to divorce a royal couple so that only the reigning sovereign is living with the child and then perform a coup d’etat to exile the remaining parent.
2. Wed two villagers who each have their own kids, and move them into a house that isn’t big enough for all of their children. The extra child will become homeless.
I feel good! – Have 10 villagers with all eight needs satisfied at the same time.
If you open up any character sheet, their annual needs are listed on the right side. “Essential Needs” consist of wood, vegetables, and clothing at the beginning of a villager’s life. Then once their citizenship level has increased (the bar at the top right of the character menu) they will have additional essential needs that can rotate between meat, bread, fish, and fruits. As their citizenship level continues to increase they will start having “Convenience needs” (which rotate between tools, weapons, furniture, and beer) and then “Luxury needs” (which rotate between paintings and jewelry). You’ll need to increase your stockpiles to have at least one of each resource in all categories for ten villagers in a single year.
Friends for life! – Two villages share a Friend for life relationship.
Find two villagers who are already friends (when you go into a character’s relationships menu, find another villager with a picture of two smiley faces in the top left corner above their picture). When you hover over the two smiley faces it will show you the affinity percentage and friendship level. You need to get the friendship level to 5/5. Choosing someone with a higher affinity percentage will help “dates” go more successfully. Drag that villager’s picture up to the “Spend Time With:” section. Then hit the “Greet” button until they become Friends for Life (should take 4 times if all are successful).
Zero risk is a myth – Have 20 villagers with the Injured trait at the same time.
I honestly don’t know a clear way to get this one, it seems like you will likely just get it at some point if you do multiple playthroughs. I can say that at the time I got the achievement my Faith bar was at 0% and the other three were all at 55-60%, but I don’t know if that actually had any impact or not.
Finding one’s own muse – Wed two villagers sharing at least 2 of the following hobbies: Reading, Poetry, Painting, and Music.
Getting villagers with the correct hobbies for this achievement is really just luck. But a couple tips:
1. When you’re doing the matchmaking mini-game, also check if the potential match has 2 of the hobbies listed above. If they do, match with them to get them into your village (even if they have a bad affinity with the current villager you’re matchmaking with). Finding villagers with these hobbies is the hard part, so you never want to pass them up. Once you bring them into your village, then you can force them to get a divorce and the marry someone else with the shared hobbies later when you find a match.
2. I have found that some villagers who are married with a perfect affinity will have their hobbies change over time to match each other. I’d suggest periodically checking your perfect matches to see if this happens. If you happen to get lucky enough that two people who are already married end up sharing 2 of the required hobbies in this achievement, it will NOT automatically give it to you. You can force divorce the couple and then immediately re-marry them to each other to get the achievement.
3. Periodically look through every one of your villagers to check if children have been born with 2 of the required hobbies, and then keep a list of any villager who could potentially be used toward this achievement when you’re able to find a match with the same 2 hobbies. This way you won’t miss it when you get the right combo available.
Coupons – Use 10 Builder Tickets in one purchase.
Once you’ve unlocked the Building Site (the first building in the Various Effects section of the Build menu), you’ll start producing Builders Tickets. These can be used to reduce the price of upgrading a building. When you click into any building, the Builder Tickets menu will appear at the top right. Click the plus sign to the right of the ticket to use 10 Builders Tickets all at once to reduce the price of buying an upgrade below in that building.
Guide Section 2
This one is also easy to get if you just wait until you get a random event where someone is cheating on their spouse. The spouse and the lover should gain the Nemesis relationship.
Physical counts, right? – Wed two villagers sharing the Awful affinity.
This one is fairly easy. In the Couples menu, play the matchmaking mini-game. Reject the potential matches until you come across one where the affinity level is listed as “Awful” (the will have conflicting hobby interests and likely be very different ages). Then accept this person as a match, successfully finish the dating mini-game, and wed the two villagers.
Love and hate – Have 10 couples break up in one game.
This achievement can be a combination of couples breaking up on their own because their affinity level is too low, couples breaking up through random events, and couples breaking up by you forcing them to get a divorce. You can speed it along by forcing divorces. In a villager’s Relationships menu, drag their spouse up to the “Spend time with” section and then click the “end relationship” button.
Society dinner party – Wed two villagers sharing at least 2 of the following hobbies: Fashion, Dancing, Gossip, and Art of war.
This way you won’t accidently miss it when you get the right combo available.
Life is good in Lakeburg – Reach at least 80% on all service gauges.
This achievement is referencing the health, faith, entertainment, and protection bars at the top right of your screen. Make sure you are filling up all of the illicit buildings (pleasure house, prank shop, assassins’ guild, and thieves’ guild) fully to keep the bars full. If you’re in the later game, you’ll also need to keep the Hospital, Church, Theatre, and Barracks fully staffed.
• Fill the Pleasure House with your villagers with the highest Athletics skill percentage
• Fill the Prank Shop with your villagers with the highest Crafting skill percentage
• Fill the Assassins’ Guild with your villagers with the highest Weapons Mastery skill percentage
• Fill your Thieves’ Guild with your villagers with the highest Precision Work skill percentage
If you’re having trouble, you can start a new game and edit the Game Settings. Change the “Service Buildings & Illicit Trade” bar to ‘Novice’ and the bars should stay higher (I haven’t confirmed that you can still get this achievement after you change the setting, but I’m assuming you can).
Tindra’s price and joy – Successfully wed 70 couples in one game.
In the Couples menu, complete the matching mini-game 70 times to form a couple between two villagers. Pay attention to the person you’re trying to match with’s likes and dislikes, and make choices that match them. Your own villagers likes and dislikes don’t matter for the mini-game.
Perfection is a myth – Have a couple with the Perfect match affinity level break up.
Find a couple with a perfect match affinity by looking at the Relationships menu. A Perfect match affinity will be highlighted purple under their spouse’s picture. Choose one member of the couple and in their relationships menu you can drag their spouse up to the “Spend Time With” section and then hit “End Relationship”.
Village – Have 40 inhabited houses.
This one is also pretty straight forward. In the Houses menu, click the ‘Build’ button to add a new house 40 times. Then have at least 40 families (or single villagers) to fill all 40 houses.
Everybody died… – First defeat.
This one is easy, in the middle of a game you just have to go up to the settings menu (the gear at the top right), and hit the “Give up” button. Your game will end immediately and you will get the achievement.
Midas – Collect 10,000 Gold bartering with Ernesto.
Ernesto will come to visit every couple of months. When he arrives, the Barter window of the left side of your screen will show a small green checkmark next to it. Click on this every time he comes, and make sure you accept the barters where he’s offering gold if you’re able to. You’ll get this achievement when the accumulated amount you’ve gained from him in these barters reaches 10,000 in one playthrough.
A little further – Reach the first stage in Prestige score.
This achievement will not pop during the game, it can only be achieved when a game is completed (for example when you finish the 75th year in classic mode). You will need to finish a game with at least a prestige score of 4,000.
Attractive town – Recruit 20 characters in one game.
I was able to get this achievement in November of Year 39 by diligently recruiting from the ‘Recruitment’ menu every time it became available.
Second chance! – Wed two villages that have already been married.
You just need two villagers to get divorced, and then re-marry those same two villagers to each other. In a character’s relationships menu, you can drag their spouse up to the “Spend Time With” section and then hit “End Relationship” (or you can wait until a couple naturally breaks up in the game). Then go to the Couples menu, drag that same character up to find their soulmate, choose a suitor from Lakeburg, and have them re-marry the same character they were married to before.
Succession – Have 10 children or teenagers with at least 75% mastery in a skill.
The key to this achievement is putting children into a mentorship as soon as possible. When you open up any building to see the workers inside, if you click on the picture of an open book near the top right you will open up the Mentorship menu. You can drag the picture of a child into a mentorship slot, the same way you would add an adult worker to a job slot. Choose a child who already has a higher percentage in the skill required for that job (for example, choose a child who already has the Nature skill for a mentorship in the Farm).
Simple pleasures – Have 3 working slots occupied in the Pleasure house and at the Inn.
The Inn is the 6th building in the “Transformed Resources path. Build this building, pay the required resources to unlock 3 working slots within, and then fill the three slots with workers. For the Pleasure house, slots are unlocked as your overall population grows. When your population grows large enough to unlock the third slot, fill all three of these slots as well and you’ll get the achievement.
Guide Section 3
In the build menu construct all 13 Primary Resources and Prestige buildings, all 8 Transformed Resources buildings, and all 8 Various Effects buildings. You’ll see the achievement lists needing to build 31 buildings even though the above only adds up to 29. When you build the Castle, the Chancellery and Treasury will automatically also be built and will count as the remaining 2 buildings needed.
Victory – First victory.
This will be achieved when a game is completed (for example when you finish the 75th year in classic mode), and you choose to end the game instead of extending it.
A little higher – Reach the second stage in Prestige score.
This achievement will not pop during the game, it can only be achieved when a game is completed (for example when you finish the 75th year in classic mode). You will need to finish a game with at least a prestige score of 20,000.
Private collection – Unlock one image.
When you finish your first playthrough (either by reaching the number of years specified in the game settings when you created it, or by hitting the ‘End Game’ button), the ‘You Won!’ screen will pop up. On this screen your total prestige earned in that playthrough will be converted to heart tokens. You’ll get 5 tokens for 4K prestige earned, 8 tokens for 20K prestige earned, or 15 tokens for 40K prestige earned. Then you can click the button to go to the gallery, and there you’ll be able to spend 5 tokens to unlock an image. You can also get to the gallery from the main game screen.
Royal scandal – A royal couple broke up.
Choose one member of the royal couple (with the job of either King or Queen) and in their relationships menu you can drag their spouse up to the “Spend Time With” section and then hit “End Relationship”.
Henri III – The castle of Lakeburg has acquired its first Regent.
This achievement will pop when the royal couple has their first baby. You can speed this along by going into the Royal Quarters building and hitting the “force destiny” button in the Children section and then waiting nine months for the baby to be born.
A little stronger – Reach the third stage in Prestige score.
This achievement will not pop during the game, it can only be achieved when a game is completed (for example when you finish the 75th year in classic mode). You will need to finish a game with at least a prestige score of 40,000.
Lakeburg’s mob – Fill all slots in all illicit buildings.
The illicit buildings are the Thieves’ Guild, Rodent Nest, Prank Shop, Pleasure House, and Assassins’ Guild. Slots open up gradually in each of these buildings as your total population hits certain milestones. Once you’ve unlocked all five slots in all five buildings, fill them all with workers and you’ll get the achievement.
Hell is other people – One villager shares only Enmity or Exploitation relationships with at least 5 other villagers.
This is one of the easier relationship based achievements to get. When you introduce two villagers with conflicting hobbies are introduced to each other (Go into one villager’s Relationships menu, then drag the picture of the other villager to the top and hit the “Greet” button), they will gain an Enmity relationship. Essentially you are doing the opposite of the matchmaking game, where you want the hobbies to be opposite instead of matching. NOTE: Since the achievement says “only Enmity or Exploitation relationships”, the villager cannot have any spouse, children, or other family members. Therefore it’s easiest to do this with a villager that you’ve newly recruited from the Recruitment menu.
Radiant city – Have all noble buildings functioning at the same time.
The noble buildings are the Banquet, Jousts, Ballroom, and Gambling Den. Once you fill all four worker slots in one building and have enough resources to fill the “Uses” requirements to the left of the workers’ pictures, then you can hit the “Start” button below the workers’ pictures. You will need to do this and hit the “Start” button for all four buildings at the same time.
Robin Hood – Collect few taxes from peasants and artisans, and a lot from nobles.
This achievement is very easy once you have the Treasury unlocked by building the Castle. Click into the Treasury building and at the bottom you can change how much you collect from each villager class. Hit the minus button to decrease the taxes collected from both the peasants (wheat picture) and artisans (anvil and hammer picture) to very low, and hit the button to increase the taxes all the way to very high for the nobles (crown picture). You can even do this while the game is paused and the change it back if you don’t want it to actually impact your game.
Land owner – Wed 2 farmer children.
I got this achievement by having two couples where both members of the couple were farmers. All four parents remained farmers from the time the child was born, all the way through the time the two children got married. I don’t know if all of that is actually required to get the achievement, but I did confirm that this method works. I tried changing all four parents into the farming professions right before the two children got married, and that did not work. (But someone comment and let me know if you can confirm that it’s simpler than the way I got it, like only needing one parent of each child or only needing them to be farmers at the time of birth).
Taurus + Scorpio = <3 – Wed two villagers sharing an affinity for Meditation and Divination.
Getting villagers with the correct hobbies for this achievement is really just luck. But a couple tips:
1. When you’re doing the matchmaking mini-game, also check if the potential match has the 2 hobbies listed above.
If you happen to get lucky enough that two people who are already married end up sharing the 2 required hobbies in this achievement, it will NOT automatically give it to you. You can force divorce the couple and then immediately re-marry them to each other to get the achievement.
3. Periodically look through every one of your villagers to check if children have been born with the 2 required hobbies, and then keep a list of any villager who could potentially be used toward this achievement when you’re able to find a match with the same 2 hobbies. This way you won’t accidently miss it when you get the right combo available.
Double life – Wed villagers working at the Church and in the Pleasure house.
This one is actually easy, as you can just move one member of the couple to work in the Church and one to work in the Pleasure house right before they get married (I did it with two children who grew up and then got married, but you could also divorce a couple to do it). Successfully complete the matching mini-game in the Couples menu while the couple currently has one in each profession. Then you can move them back to their old jobs after.
Guide Section 4
This achievement is very easy once you have the Treasury unlocked by building the Castle. Click into the Treasury building and at the bottom you can change how much you collect from each villager class. Hit the button to increase the taxes to “high” for the peasants (wheat picture), artisans (anvil and hammer picture), and nobles (crown picture). You can even do this while the game is paused and the change it back if you don’t want it to actually impact your game.
Tax haven – Collect no taxes from the population.
This achievement is very easy once you have the Treasury unlocked by building the Castle. Click into the Treasury building and at the bottom you can change how much you collect from each villager class. Hit the button to decrease the taxes to “none” for the peasants (wheat picture), artisans (anvil and hammer picture), and nobles (crown picture). You can even do this while the game is paused and the change it back if you don’t want it to actually impact your game.
Independent gallery – Unlock 5 images.
When you finish a playthrough (either by reaching the number of years specified in the game settings when you created it, or by hitting the ‘End Game’ button), the ‘You Won!’ screen will pop up. On this screen your total prestige earned in that playthrough will be converted to heart tokens. You’ll get 5 tokens for 4K prestige earned, 8 tokens for 20K prestige earned, or 15 tokens for 40K prestige earned. Then you can click the button to go to the gallery, and there you’ll be able to spend 5 tokens to unlock each image (you can also get to the gallery from the main game screen). You’ll need 25 tokens total to unlock the 5 images needed for this achievement. Getting to 4K prestige and ending your game immediately will be the fastest way to do this, but you’ll also need to play further to get the other achievements in this guide so will naturally get higher amounts that way in at least one or two playthroughs.
Economic capital city – Fill all slots in all production buildings.
At the time I got this achievement, both my Theatre and Trading Post were not full. So I theorize that the buildings in the “Various Effects” building path in the Building menu are not included as part of this achievement (someone let me know if you’re able to confirm this). The last building I filled before getting the achievement was the Forge, so I believe that buildings in the “Transformed Resources” building path must all be filled, as well as the Primary Resources buildings. I’m unsure about the Prestige buildings (the Castle and all the related buildings), as they were all filled when I got it. If anyone can provide more information about what they did/did not have filled when they finished this achievement, then I will update this explanation and give credit.
Not tonight, dear – Have 5 couples be abstinent at the same time.
Click into the Houses menu and then into a couple’s house. In between the pictures of the two members of the couple there is a ‘Baby Wish’ meter. Below it is a toggle that you can switch between yes and no. Click to change it to ‘no’ for at least 5 different couples.
Enemies… and more? – Wed two villagers sharing a mutual aversion (Enemy or Nemesis relationship).
I got this achievement by waiting for a random event with a cheating scandal (the event where someone is caught cheating, not where a sidepiece asks for their adultery partner to break up with their spouse). For example, if Bob and Mary are married but Mary cheats with Joe in a random event, choose to have Mary break up with Bob to be with Joe and then Bob and Joe will become enemies. I then force Mary to get a divorce from Joe by going in Mary’s relationship menu, dragging Joe up to the “Spend Time With” section, and then hitting “End Relationship”. Then I go into the Couples menu and complete the matchmaking mini-game to get Bob and Joe married to each other.
Storkology – Force destiny 10 times in one game.
Click into the Houses menu and then into a couple’s house. If they are not already expecting a baby and are not too old to have children, the bottom section of the house will show an empty child spot labeled “Wait for the Stork” and you can hit the “Force Destiny” button to pay 1500 hearts to get pregnant immediately. You’ll need to do this 10 times in one game.
Lady Jane Grey – A sovereign remained on the throne for less than a year.
For this achievement to pop, you have to put a villager on the throne who has no familial relationships (no spouse, no children, no siblings) so that they have no heirs. Once you place someone as King or Queen, when you go into the Throne Room you’ll see the option for “Coup D’etat” below their picture. Let them sit on the throne for a month, then hit the “Coup D’etat” button to remove them. I’ve read that this needs to be done with the very first villager in your playthrough who sits on the throne, but I’m not able to confirm that.
Cupid – Wed 50 couples with the Perfect match affinity level.
Luckily this achievement counts across multiple playthroughs. Fairly straightforward, in the Couples menu when you perform the matchmaking mini-game, successfully match and wed 50 couples with the Perfect affinity. It will be highlighted purple, so it’s hard to miss. It will take awhile and take some luck, but eventually you’ll get it. I will say that this seems to get easier the longer you play the same game, because you have so many children that are born close to each other, and being the exact same age seems to be very important for affinity levels.
Dangerous liaisons – Have a married couple with 3 adultery relationships between them.
Unfortunately, I don’t have perfect advice on this one. In my experience, getting adultery relationships is really hard. I would suggest that you wait until you get a random event that creates an adultery relationship, and then make that your target couple to build more off of. Introducing your villager to others by going into their relationships menu, dragging another villager into the top bar, and hitting “Greet” will create a relationship between the two. You are targeting the Adultery relationship type (the underwear symbol). Most of the time when you introduce two villagers you will get friendship relationships instead of adultery, and I don’t know of a true method to improve the adultery rate. Some potential things that might improve your odds:
1. I think that introducing your target couple to other villagers that currently have the Lustful trait might help, but I can’t confirm. (See the “Slave to Desire” achievement for tips on this)
2. I also think that looking for people close to their same age will also help.
3. Introducing them to people with the same Hobbies as them will help.
Guide Section 5
Getting villagers with the correct hobbies for this achievement is really just luck. But a couple tips:
1. When you’re doing the matchmaking mini-game, also check if the potential match has the 3 hobbies listed above.
If you happen to get lucky enough that two people who are already married end up sharing the 3 required hobbies in this achievement, it will NOT automatically give it to you. You can force divorce the couple and then immediately re-marry them to each other to get the achievement.
3. Periodically look through every one of your villagers to check if children have been born with the 3 required hobbies, and then keep a list of any villager who could potentially be used toward this achievement when you’re able to find a match with the same 3 hobbies. This way you won’t accidently miss it when you get the right combo available.
Souvenirs from a distant past – Approach a certain magic circle and observe it for a few seconds.
If you minimize both your villagers pane and the Village’s Journal pane, then scroll to the far bottom right of the screen you’ll see a glowing magic circle. Zoom in on that circle as far as you can and center it on your screen. Sit like that for a few seconds and you’ll get the achievement.
Aggressive Politics – Have someone sit on Lakeburg’s throne with the following hobbies: Duelling, Art of war, and Public executions.
Getting villagers with the correct hobbies for this achievement is really just luck. But a couple tips:
1. When you’re doing the matchmaking mini-game, also check if the potential match has the 3 hobbies listed above. If they do, match with them to get them into your village (even if they have a bad affinity with the current villager you’re matchmaking with). Finding villagers with these hobbies is the hard part, so you never want to pass them up. Once you bring them into your village, then you can place that villager on the throne to get the achievement.
2. Periodically look through every one of your villagers to check if children have been born with the 3 required hobbies, and then keep a list of the villager who could potentially be used toward this achievement. As soon as the child is old enough, do a coup d’etat and put them on the throne to get the achievement.
Down with the sovereign! – Have 5 coups d’etats in one game.
In the Build menu, the 7th item down in the “Primary Resources and Prestige” path is the Castle. Once you build the castle, you’ll be able to fill the Sovereign slot in the Throne Room. Once you place someone as King or Queen, when you go into the Throne Room you’ll see the option for “Coup D’etat” below their picture. You’ll need to do this 5 times in one game to get the achievement. It’s expensive (costs 1200 hearts each time) and your current sovereign will be banished from your village, so if you’re trying to get this achievement then maybe put someone on the throne who you don’t care about too much.
Demographic wave – Recruit 35 characters in one game.
Go into the recruitment menu on the left and pay to recruit a new villager 35 times. This achievement is the biggest grind, and will need to be completed on Endless mode (I still haven’t gotten it…as a reference I’m on year 128 and I’ve recruited 31, with 8 years until the next one. Will update when I know exactly how many years it takes).
National Gallery – Unlock 20 images.
You’ll need 100 tokens total to unlock the 20 images needed for this achievement. Getting to 4K prestige and ending your game immediately will be the fastest way to do this, but you’ll also need to play further to get the other achievements in this guide so will naturally get higher amounts that way in at least one or two playthroughs.
British Museum – Unlock all images.
There are 33 total images in the gallery to unlock. You’ll need 165 tokens total to unlock the 33 images needed for this achievement. Getting to 4K prestige and ending your game immediately will be the fastest way to do this, but you’ll also need to play further to get the other achievements in this guide so will naturally get higher amounts that way in at least one or two playthroughs.
Don Juan – One villager shares only Adultery or Lust relationships with at least 3 villagers.
This one is tricky. The fact that they can have “only Adultury or Lust relationships” means they cannot have any family relationships. They cannot have parents, a spouse, or children, because even if you click “end relationship” with these people they still remain an estranged relationship. This means this is easiest to try to complete with a villager fresh from the Recruitment menu. Introduce that villager to others with they have a high affinity with (shared hobbies and similar age) by going into their relationships menu, dragging another villager into the top bar, and hitting “Greet” to create a relationship between the two. You have to hope that you get lust/adultery relationships. If you don’t, then you’ll need to drag that villager back up into the top bar and “End Relationship”.
Guide Section 6
This achievement is referring to the achievements in the Prestige menu. Below is a list of everything you’ll need to do:
1. Megapole – Build all buildings
- In the build menu construct all 13 Primary Resources and Prestige buildings, all 8 Transformed Resources buildings, and all 8 Various Effects buildings. You’ll see the achievement lists needing to build 31 buildings even though the above only adds up to 29. When you build the Castle, the Chancellery and Treasury will automatically also be built and will count as the remaining 2 buildings needed
2. I Am Wood – Produce 10000 units of wood
- This achievement refers to lifetime units produced. You need to produce 10000 units of wood total, not have 10,000 units at one time.
3. Heart of Gold – Use 5000 hearts
- This is referring to using up hearts by rejecting profiles, force destiny, etc.
4. The Bare Necessities – Meet 600 essential needs
- If you open up any character sheet, their annual needs are listed on the right side. “Essential Needs” consist of wood, vegetables, and clothing at the beginning of a villager’s life. Then once their citizenship level has increased (the bar at the top right of the character menu) they will have additional essential needs that can rotate between meat, bread, fish, and fruits. Increasing your stockpiles to have enough of one resource for one villager in a single year will count as meeting one essential need.
5. Attractive Town – Have 50 villagers from the outside move into the village
- This can be achieved through a combination of using the ‘Recruitment’ menu and by using the ‘Couples’ menu and selecting to find a suitor in the Surroundings instead of in Lakeburg.
6. Bling – Satisfy 100 luxury needs
- Similar to ‘The Bare Necessities’ achievement above, if you open up any character sheet you can see their annual needs listed on the right side. “Luxury needs” will rotate between paintings and jewelry. Increasing your stockpiles to have enough of one resource for one villager in a single year will count as meeting one luxury need.
7. La Dolce Vita – Satisfy 300 convenience needs
- Similar to ‘The Bare Necessities’ achievement above, if you open up any character sheet you can see their annual needs listed on the right side. “Convenience needs” will rotate between tools, weapons, furniture, and beer. Increasing your stockpiles to have enough of one resource for one villager in a single year will count as meeting one convenience need.
8. Efficiency and Productivity – Fill all working slots of 5 buildings
- Almost all buildings have five slots available to fill with villager workers. You’ll need to unlock all slots and fill them all with workers in five buildings. One easier way to get this achievement is filling up the Treasury and Chancellery, as they only need two workers each.
9. King of Real Estate – Build 30 houses
- This one is also pretty straight forward. In the Houses menu, click the ‘Build’ button to add a new house 30 times.
10. Flight of Storks – Give birth to 70 children
- Pretty straight forward, have your villager couples give birth to a child 70 times.
11. Drunkard – Satisfy 10 villagers’ need for beer at the same time
- Similar to ‘La Dolce Vita’ achievement above, if you open up any character sheet you can see their annual needs listed on the right side. “Convenience needs” will rotate between tools, weapons, furniture, and beer. You’ll need 10 villagers that have the rotation set to beer in the same year. Then have at least 10 beers in your stockpile.
12. Money IS Happiness – Get 10000 gold
- Opposite of the ‘I Am Wood’ achievement above, this achievement requires you to have 10,000 gold at one time.
13. La Vie En Rose – Form 100 couples
- In the Couples menu, complete the matching mini-game 100 times to form a couple between two villagers.
14. We Do Need Education – Have 50 children enter a mentorship
- When you open up any building to see the workers inside, if you click on the picture of an open book near the top right you will open up the Mentorship menu. You can drag the picture of a child into a mentorship slot, the same way you would add an adult worker to a job slot. You’ll need to do this 50 times with 50 children.
15. Culture is Here to Stay! – Produce 250 paintings
- Pretty straight forward. The Painters’ Workshop is one of the last buildings you will unlock. Produce 250 paintings total from this building and you’ll get the achievement.
16. Let’s Get to Work! – Get 70 workers simultaneously
- Again, pretty straight forward. You just need to add 70 total villagers into job slots inside buildings.
17. The Era of Progress – Unlock all building upgrades
- This one is the most confusing I think. When you click into any production building, the upgrades are the list on the far right. To get this achievement you need to get all ‘Working Conditions’ upgrades and all ‘Recycling’ upgrades to the maximum level. You do not need to purchase all of the ‘Efficiency’ upgrades.
18. Money’s Scarce – Use 100 Builder Tickets
- Once you’ve unlocked the Building Site (the first building in the Various Effects section of the Build menu), you’ll start producing Builders Tickets. These can be used to reduce the price of upgrading a building. When you click into any building, the Builder Tickets menu will appear at the top right. Click the plus sign to the right of the ticket to use up to 10 Builders Tickets at a time to reduce the price of buying the upgrades below in that building. Use 100 tickets total to get the achievement.
