Injustice 2 : Character-Specific Achievements Part-1
The easiest way to complete these character-specific achievements is to use a second controller in a local 2-player game. This lets you set up each character, bring your opponent’s health down, and perform the required move without interruptions.
Playing through the campaign first is helpful since you’ll have unlocked Brainiac.
For each character, I’ve listed the moves as if you’re positioned on the left side of your opponent. If you’re on the right side, simply reverse the left/right directional controls to perform the same move or jump back to the left side to follow the original inputs.
Below, I’ll list each character, opponent, move, and setting needed for specific achievements. I’ll also mention any additional achievements you can earn along the way if you haven’t unlocked them yet.
NOTE: There’s an achievement for using every supermove in the game, and you can make progress towards this during these character-specific achievements. In some cases (though not all), the required move to KO your opponent is your supermove. In these situations, control your opponent and attack your main character until their meter burn bar is full. Then, switch back to your main and use the supermove on your opponent (it doesn’t have to KO them if their health is already high).
If you don’t have two controllers, you have two more options:
(1) Use your keyboard for Player 1 and a controller for Player 2.
(2) Play against bots (AI) using only the keyboard. Make sure to set the difficulty to ‘Very Easy’ so the bots rarely move.
For 2 Controller players:
Go to Multiplayer > Versus.
For 1 Keyboard & 1 Controller player:
Go to Multiplayer > Versus.
For 1 Keyboard vs AI (Bot):
Go to Single Player > Single Fight (Make sure you select “Very easy”)
Player 1: Bane
Player 2: Batman
Map: Gotham City Empire Theatre
Start the match by standing in your starting position, then press the “S” button on Keyboard for 10 times, then stand around for 10 seconds doing nothing.
This will unlock the following achievement:
Would You Like Some Crumpets With That?
Duck 10 times in a row during a match.
Untouchable
Go 10 seconds of the match without being hit by your opponent.
Walk both characters to the middle of the map. Then, as Bane, press the “ ; ” button on keyboard to knock Batman into the Empire Theatre sign. Repeat this two more times (three times in total), and you’ll unlock the following achievement:
Doctor Fate-Ality
Perform 3 background bounces on the Empire Theatre background.
Now, work towards Bane’s supermove by having Batman attack you. Switch to Bane and use your supermove. Once this is complete, build up one more segment of your meter burn bar. Then, attack Batman to get his health down to very low, and execute the Meter Burn Bane Bomb move using the following move set: S,A,D,K then hit O (O for orange) Activate the meter to perform the move. Doing this successfully will unlock the following achievement:
OUTTA NOWHERE!!!!!!
Bane must defeat Batman with the final hit coming from a Meter Burn Bane Bomb.

Press ‘L’ to unleash your attack, and defeating your opponent with it will unlock the following achievement:

It’s Showtime
Knock an opponent into the Empire Theatre Arena Transition at 8:00pm.
Next, you’ll be working on an achievement that involves significant grinding, but it can be done alongside other tasks. This will likely be one of the last achievements you unlock in the game. The goal is to reach level 20 with every character, excluding DLC characters. Note that this level is separate from your player level each character has their own individual level that increases as you play with them, complete their challenges, and win matches.
By the time you’ve completed the story mode with each character, you’ll likely have reached around level 3 or 4 with them. Your favorite characters will probably be the first to hit level 20, as you’ll naturally play them more often (for example, Batman and SuperMan Thing were my first to reach level 20). However, don’t worry about this too much for now. There’s still a lot of fighting ahead, and the grind for this achievement will become your focus later on. I’ll go into more detail on how to approach it further down the page.
Once you’ve selected your favorite character, it’s a good idea to focus on playing them regularly until you reach the maximum level. Thanks to the Legendary Edition update, the highest level you can now achieve with a character is level 30 (up from the previous cap of 20). The grinding required to get all characters to level 20 will also contribute to leveling up your favorite character to 30, so I’ll explain the best strategies for that later on as well.
For this achievement, load up a match with your chosen strong character (Swamp Thing is a good choice), using a second controller to control your opponent. Choose the Slaughter Swamp map.
1. Attack your opponent until they have only a small amount of health remaining.
2. Position yourself near the large hanging crocodile on the left side of the map.
3. Move your opponent just a few steps to the right of your character.
4. Use ” ; ” to grab the crocodile and swing it at your opponent.
If you successfully hit them with the crocodile and knock them out, you’ll unlock the achievement!
Killer Croc
Have the final hit come from the crocodile in Slaughter Swamp.
From the start of the match, you will have to interact with all environmental objects using ” ; “. On this stage, this includes:
– 3 Red Hanging Lights (Ripped with strong character)
– 3 boxes on the right of the stage
– Throw against the computer in the back near the left
– Smash against the left hand-side computers
Then, transition through the left of the first stage using ” D + K “. In the second area, focus on interacting with:
– Large generator on the right
– 2 Tires off the trolley
– The batcycle/batpod (motorcycle) on the left
– Kick into the batmobile near the middle
Once you’ve used all the environmental interactions in the match, you’ll unlock the achievement!
This Is Why I Can’t Have Nice Things
Be in the Batcave when all the Environmental Interactions are used.
1. Set up a match with two controllers. Select Batman as your character and choose one of the following opponents: Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Joker, Deadshot, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, or Bane.
2. Choose the Arkham Asylum map and start the match in the default area.
Step-by-Step:
– Walk your opponent all the way to the right side of the map.
– Perform a level transition using Batman ” A + K ” to send your opponent through the Arkham transition.
– Once the transition completes, you can choose to finish the match or quit out. For extra XP, it’s recommended to finish the fight.
3. Repeat the match with each of the seven opponents listed. After you’ve successfully sent each one through the Arkham transition, the achievement will unlock!
Back To Where You Belong
Play as Batman and send all Gotham villains through the Arkham Transitions.
If you’ve been regularly knocking opponents through transitions as suggested, you’ll likely have unlocked:
Stay Down
Knock an opponent into an Arena Transition 25 times.
Injustice 2 : Offline/Multiverse Part-2
One Step Ahead
Batman must defeat any opponent with the final hit coming from Cape Parry or Cape Counter.
From this point, most remaining achievements are tied to online gameplay, the multiverse mode, or involve collecting items and Mother Boxes. Mother Boxes are earned by winning fights, completing specific challenges, and finishing multiverse battles and towers. There are various tiers of Mother Boxes, with higher grades awarded for more challenging tasks; these offer increasingly valuable rewards and better chances of rare moves, shaders, and gear. Items can also be obtained directly after fights or by leveling up characters. I’ll explore these collection-based achievements after covering the multiverse, although you may well unlock some of them along the way.
The Multiverse mode in Injustice 2 opens up a range of unique Earths from different universes and timelines, giving you access to thousands of alternate worlds. You’ll see a few Earths available at any time, along with a training planet and battle simulator, which are not time-limited. The rest of the Earths have set time limits, and each displays how long it will remain accessible. Each Earth offers a variety of ladder events scattered across its surface, and you’ll need to complete the easier ladders before moving on to the tougher ones. These ladders range in difficulty and may consist of straightforward fights, battles against specific characters, or matches with random modifiers, adding to the challenge. In most cases, you can choose any character to play.
Certain matches in the Multiverse mode also feature specific challenges, like avoiding jumps or performing 10 uppercut moves. Completing these optional challenges boosts your rewards, though you won’t lose anything for skipping them. Finishing a ladder usually grants rewards, primarily Mother Boxes, but each event displays its rewards upfront, so you’ll know what to expect. Beyond Mother Boxes, you can earn character equipment, shaders, and sometimes costume parts inspired by recent DC movies like a recent event that offered pieces from the Shazam! movie costume.
While the rewards from Multiverse events are valuable and contribute to progress toward other achievements, the main advantage of these events is in leveling up your characters to level 20 and unlocking achievements more directly related to character progression.
First, each ladder you complete in the Multiverse counts towards a total of 100 required events for an achievement. You don’t need to clear 100 planets just 100 individual ladders. After completing 25 of these, you’ll unlock:
Event-full
Complete 25 Multiverse events.
After completing 100 events in the Multiverse, which will take some time, you will unlock:
Pulling Overtime
Complete 100 Multiverse events.
After this, focus on unlocking the endings for every character in the game. To do so, head to the Battle Simulator planet in the Multiverse, usually located in the bottom right corner. On this planet, you’ll find various events, including easy, medium, and hard battle simulators, as well as the Survivor and Endless events. For now, you can ignore the Survivor and Endless events.
Choose any difficulty level, but I recommend sticking with Novice to save time, as it only requires you to fight through a ladder of five opponents. Completing these events with each character will unlock their individual endings.
Simply choose one of the original game characters and play through the 5 battles in the Battle Simulator. The final battle will always be against Brainiac. After defeating him, a cinematic will play, showing the outcome for your chosen character after defeating Brainiac and how their story concludes. It’s similar to a series of “What If?” comics, showcasing different possible fates for each character. Be sure to NOT skip this cutscene, as watching it is necessary to unlock the character’s ending.
Repeat this process with every character in the game to unlock all the endings. Start with the original characters (including Brainiac) and then move on to the DLC characters, as some players report that the achievement may not unlock with just the original roster. While you’re playing through these events, be sure to also connect at least one supermove during the five battles with each character. This will ensure that you complete any supermove-related achievements that may have been missed earlier.
Once you have connected a supermove with each character, you’ll unlock:
Feeling Super
Perform every Supermove.
Then, after completing and viewing the endings for each character in the game, you’ll pop:
Spoiler Alert
View all character endings in the Battle Simulator.
Also, by now, you will most likely have earned the following achievement, just from playing through the game:
Feel The Power
Reach level 35 in Player XP.
At this point, you should have collected a fair number of rewards and Mother Boxes. If you haven’t opened these yet, do so now. There are a number of achievements related to receiving and selling items as well as opening these boxes, as I mentioned earlier. If you haven’t quite had enough to unlock any of the following achievements, you’ll earn more as you level up your characters to level 20, so they will come with time.
For collecting 200 pieces of common equipment, you’ll earn:
There’s My Pants
Collect a total of 200 pieces of Common Gear, excluding shaders.
For collecting 100 pieces of rare equipment, you’ll unlock:
What To Wear?
Collect a total of 100 pieces of Rare Gear, excluding shaders.
For collecting 50 pieces of epic equipment, you’ll pop:
Hipster
Collect a total of 50 pieces of Epic Gear, excluding shaders.
After opening 100 Mother Boxes, you’ll earn:
So Many Presents
Open 100 Mother Boxes.
Finally, you can sell any items you want, whether they are excess, underpowered, or you just fancy it. Go to character customization and change the tab to find the gear. Select a character with gear you wish to sell. Mark each piece of gear you wish to sell by selecting it, then when you’re ready, sell them all. After selling 250 pieces of gear, from any character or of any rarity, you’ll unlock the achievement:
Garage Sale
Sell a total of 250 pieces of gear.
Injustice 2 : Offline/Multiverse Part-3
At this point, the remaining achievements involve leveling up your characters.
you will unlock the achievement for leveling up every original character in the game to level 20, No need to level up DLC characters.
Yes, the easiest way to grind through the character level achievements, especially for reaching level 20 with all characters and level 30 for one character, is by using an AFK method with the Battle Simulator in the Multiverse mode. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Select the Battle Simulator in the Multiverse.
– You’ll want to go with the Endless Tower or any other event with a continuous loop of matches, as they don’t require you to interact much.
2. Set it up for AFK grinding:
– Choose a character to grind with (ideally, your chosen main character for reaching level 30).
– You can set up the AI to fight for you. The Endless Tower will keep cycling through opponents.
3. Automating the process:
– You can use an auto-clicker to press the Enter button automatically after each match ends, allowing you to skip through the results screen without needing to manually press it every time.
– This will let you keep leveling up your character while you’re away from the game.
4. Leaving it running:
– Once set up, you can leave the game running, and it will continue grinding without requiring much intervention.
– Be mindful of breaks to avoid overheating or any potential in-game issues like being kicked for inactivity, depending on your settings or platform.
By doing this, you can slowly accumulate experience points and level up your characters without needing to sit and play every single match manually. Just remember to switch out characters as needed for the level 20 grind and focus on one character at a time for the level 30 goal.
once you get all the original characters to level 20, you will pop:
Master Of All Trades
Reach level 20 with all characters.
All that remains is to get one character to level 30. Choose whichever character you want, But i choice ” Catwomen ” Just because leveling up Catwoman, this will also help with the “Catcall ability” for the Call Call Fight achievement later on.
When one character hits level 30, you’ll pop:
Growing Stronger
Reach level 30 with any character.
Finally, before heading into multiplayer, you should complete some advanced training to unlock the related achievement. Head to the training section and select your favorite character. You’ll need to complete at least three of the training categories. The easiest ones to start with are Zoning (under Combat Strategy), Advanced Defence (under Advanced Mechanics), and Frame Data (also under Advanced Mechanics). Once you’ve completed these three, along with any others you want to try, you’ll unlock:
Push Yourself Harder
Complete any 3 categories in Advanced Training or Strategy Training.
Injustice 2 : Online Multiplayer
Some of these achievements will require either a lot of luck, skill, or both. By now, Injustice 2 has been out for a few years, and many of the players you’ll encounter online are highly skilled, knowing their characters inside and out with complex combos. As a result, going into random online matches can be frustrating, especially if you’re aiming for specific achievements.
The easiest and most efficient way to unlock the majority of these online achievements is by setting up a boosting session on a platform like steam community or teaming up with a boosting partner. By coordinating with someone, you can achieve the objectives without facing the unpredictability of random online players. I will continue this guide assuming you’re boosting with a partner or via a boosting session. If you still want to attempt unlocking these achievements organically, best of luck to you.
Boosting ensures that you get the wins and objectives needed without the added challenge of facing highly skilled players, making it a far more manageable way to complete the multiplayer achievements in Injustice 2.
First, from the main menu, navigate to the Guilds tab. Once you’ve reached level 5 in the game (which should naturally happen if you’ve been progressing through the other achievements), you’ll unlock the ability to join a guild.
Joining a guild will unlock:
I Have Friends Now
Join a Guild.
Next, you’ll want to head to the AI Battle Simulator mode, which is located under the Multiplayer tab. Equip your three chosen characters with the best gear available in the character customization screen, and then select Fight in the AI Battle Simulator menu. A list of opponents will appear, showing their character levels and team setup. Choose an opponent with a team of low-level characters and then pick your best three characters.
The battle will begin, and you only need to spectate the match. You can speed up the battle by setting the speed to 4x, which will make it quicker. If you happen to lose, just select a different opponent and try again.
Once you win five matches in this mode, you’ll unlock:
Overlord
Win 5 AI Battle Simulation matches.
Join a King of the Hill (KotH) game, either by joining a gaming session or playing solo, and participate in a few rounds. In KotH, one player is the “King,” and the other players are contenders trying to defeat them. If a contender wins, they take the crown; if the King wins, they retain the title. All players in the room can vote on who they think will win, while waiting for their turn to fight.
To efficiently boost, make sure you’re in a room with at least three people (more can work too). Start a public match of KotH and see who’s the King first. If you’re the King, you can pick any character. If you’re a contender and the first match, select Harley Quinn. Have any spectators vote for you as Harley.
As the match starts, let the King attack you until you’re at 10% health or less. Once you’re near death, have the King stop attacking and stand still. You can now go on the offensive. Attack the King until they have very little health remaining. Hold off finishing them for now.
When the King is low on health, use Harley’s Character Power (press and hold ” L “ ). This will summon her hyenas, Bud and Lou, to charge across the screen and attack the King. If they successfully knock out the King, you’ll unlock a couple of achievements for defeating the King in this way.
Be Pre-Paired
Harley must dethrone an opponent in King Of The Hill with the final hit coming from Double-Trouble.
Only A Real Master
Beat an opponent online while they still have 90% health and you have 10% or less health remaining.
From here, rotate through the players in the session so everyone gets a fair chance. During each round, communicate with the other players about who plans to win, and make sure everyone votes on the correct player. After successfully voting for the winner 10 times, you’ll unlock the achievement for voting correctly.
I Voted
Vote correctly 10 times in King of the Hill.
During these rotations, make sure everyone gets a chance to dethrone the king and take the throne for themselves. After successfully usurping the throne 5 times, you’ll unlock the achievement for dethroning the king.
Off With His Head
Dethrone a King 5 times in King of the Hill.
Start by heading to ranked games. With your boosting partner, choose a time when the servers are likely to be less crowded (this will vary depending on your region). Both of you should search for a ranked match at the same time, and hopefully, you’ll match each other. Once you’re in the fight, take turns winning. After winning ten ranked games between the two of you, you’ll unlock:
Winning Is Fun
Win 10 ranked matches.
From here, switch to normal player matches and invite your boosting partner. Simply win 50 games against each other, and you’ll unlock:
Don’t Stop Me Now
Win 50 player matches.
Finally, play 200 games of multiplayer to unlock your final achievement:
A Real Contender
Play 200 online matches.
End Screen!
I can’t say if this is the fastest way to do it but this is how i completed few achievements.
1. Level up Catwoman to Level 30: Start by focusing on leveling Catwoman to level 30 as soon as possible. This will help with unlocking her abilities and make progress toward achieving the “Catcall ability” for the “Call Call Fight” achievement.
2. Don’t Sell Catwoman’s Rare Gears: Keep any rare gears you find for Catwoman. Don’t sell them, as they can be useful for the requirement in Legendary Multiverse.
3. Optimal AI Settings for Multiverse: To tackle tough Multiverse bosses, even at a low level, adjust your AI settings. Set the Combos and Counters attributes to 30 each. This will maximize your AI’s performance and help you win against higher-level enemies without using any gear.
4. Track Catwoman’s Ability Requirements in Legendary Multiverse: From the start, keep an eye on the requirements for Catwoman’s abilities in the Legendary Multiverse. This way, you can work toward them early and avoid wasting time later.
