Hi everyone! After spending two weeks thoroughly testing different builds and stats in the new update, I’m here to share my feedback with you. Let’s jump right in!
1. Heroes
Heroes now has “specialization or specialized”.
This means no more queen of multistrike, king of area, god of area, godess of crit chance.
So basicly mixing up abilitys with heros is kind of dead. Sure u can play needle on norseman still, but the dmg will be less and not the best pair in the game at the moment.
The best hero in the game at the moment, cause of 0,5 crit dmg and 0,5 def/lvl. He is just a tank with def. Honestly i am happy that not just shield maiden can be build to be tank. True u can not full facetank with Landsknecht but u can get a bunch of hit and u can be still alive. Further The only char that can have Sage mark and the exp from dedication and the Jade amulet and movement speed from Landsknecht hero traits with the same time. U can lvl really fast witch is one of the best u can do.
All of the 3 elemental heros reworked totally and now they are good only with elemental abilities. This is god and bad the same time. I think it was fun to test and play speed, area, multistrike. Now this is gone. The bad one is elemental abilities at the moment limited to rift or meteor. The good one Dot builds now work perfectly, so i can say the winner of this update are the DoT builds.
We need to talk about Norseman. Norseman in general is good, but the frost dmg… need to rework. If there is no mob u are doomed. U just hitting 100dmg/attack or less. The worst thing is when u have to deal with the final boss… It took 5 – 10 min without Frost dmg to deal with. Still capable of clearing the map really fast with forst rift, but this one it just got me burn out at the end.
The throne have been taken away. He is still a good hero, but there are others that are better now.
He is the 2 best with the high HP, not even shield maiden can get that much hp. Demonic exchange with +% summons now the best way to pick with that much HP.
Beast huntress squishy and her hero traits are usless. I can’t decide it is physical hero or a summoner with low hp and def. For physical she is to week to survive for summons warlock it jsut better.
Archer: Need to rework, cause i read it, that archer traits occur some lagg problems in the game, but now everybody with dmg/lvl is better choice at the moment. The best fun was the base multiplier on Sage and u could see abitites extremly multiplied. Not anymore.
Cleric: He is good nothing wrong with it but magic abilities is down to the ground. I tried some debuff based transfixion build but it was not enough. Others are just to weak.
Swordsman: He is good, but there are better lvl up bonuses, tarits, mark to support abilites like Warlock +Summons or + Summons dmg or crit dmg/def bonus for Landsknecht.
2. Items
Wind crown was the best for most of the char, but the changes hit hard and got nerfed to the ground. All in all u can achieve 15 20% Attack speed if u kill really fast, so it is most of the time not worth it to use it anymore.
The best. Area and range is king. If u find the green fixed version, u will be dominating. I would say even better than the old wind crown, since it gives area and range to abilities. It is usable for every abilites.
Add 10% movement speed that are huge with 10% def. The best basic helmet.
For DoT helmets Ruby circlet is the best. Add burn dmg based on the burn enemys. Simple, useable.
Thunder crown Only works if u using magic abilites, that is kind of restricted. So this is mean to be for Arcane rift and Sorcerer. I am not a fun to strictly using 1 item for 1 hero and only 1 capable of abilites that has the magic label and can significantly do electrified dmg.
Forst Dragon Helmet Same as Thunder only good for norseman. Further Frost has issues with bosses or 1 mob.
3. Abilities
1.a Rift
1.b Meteor
2. Spirit warriors
3. Morning Star
4. Needle
I can say that Rift and Meteor is almost the same. Rift are somewhat more consistent and u can use on norseman, sorcerer, exterminator. Meteor only for exterminator.
Spirit warriors is the best summons at the moment and they can guard ur life forever with the needle upgrade. No need to explain.
Morning cover more area and kiling faster than Needle, so better one.
Needle is still godly. Only problem is not killing fast enough to cath up with others.
Fist I want to talk about fist, got nerfed by crit, and by wind crown, The ability whole point was to crit high and really fast, with the help of conversion. Thanks to the nerfed wind crown mostly that is dead. Still u can do agony 5, but not same anymore.
Frost abilities need to be reworked really bad. They can clear the map no daubt, but boss killing it just like more than 5 min… It is like u playing 32 min reguarly, but with frost u will playing 35 – 40 min… It is annoying to kill elites or bosses in solo.
Kugelblitz, Lightning strike they are dead, even if u want to make some cirt version, the electrified version is so much better, but Rift are more powerful and cover everything. They are no match for it. They were the 2 king of crit dmg.
Transfixion is dead. It wasn’t super good, it was okey, but now with crit nerfed, It is no more good then it was before. U could do agony 5 with the old transfixion, even it wasn’t best ability for it.
The 2 worst imo. 1. Golem they do not affected by +% summons… Spirit warriors and Orbs affected by it. 2. Dragon’s breath doesn’t affected by area and range after u pick up stream of fire upgrade.
