Grunn: 100% achievement guide

I recommend to start from the story achievements, as it will make you more familiarized with layout of location, and locations of important items. I will also refer to the events of those endings in other achievements.

If you follow it, you will obtain the following achievements:
Seen It All
Reach all different endings.
Refer to the guide on how to achieve each ending.

Life Experience
Reach 5 different endings.
You will get this as a part of Seen It All

The Good Ending
Reach the good ending.
You will get this as a part of Seen It All

Ritual
Return all idols to the church.
This is essential part of good ending, so is not missable if you do The Good Ending

Typical Dutch Weather
Make it rain.
You need to obtain a roll of toilet paper, give it to the person in the toilet, get a blue coin, and toss it into the well. If you follow my guide for the good ending, you will get this anyway.

A Whole New World
Venture out of the garden.
Probably will be the very first achievement you get anyway.

Happy Dog
Give the dog a bone.
Also a part of the good ending progression.

Picnic
Go for a picnic.
You get this ending by achieving 100% progress in all three areas of the game. More details in the endings guide.

A Quick Job
Reach the good ending within 10 minutes.
I’ve got the achievement using the same order of actions specified in the endings guide. It might be not optimal, but it is definitely possible (I did in fact finished it in 10 minutes, 10 seconds, and the game counted it anyway).

A Pure Soul
Retrieve a soul.
In the end of the good ending playthrough, before you defeat the demon, you can find three soul fragments in the house:

• Go to the end of the corridor and check to your left, the soul will be in the white room.
• Check the fridge in the kitchen, it will teleport you to the snowy world with the second shard.
• In the opposite direction to the attic, there is storage area. The fragment is in one of the glass jars around.

Once you have all three shards, continue to the ending. This can’t be done in “End of the world” ending.

Those are related to doing actual gardening work.
Professional
Obtain all gardening tools.
The tools are sheers, trowel and watering cans. Other equipment is not required.

• Sheers are in the shed, you can’t miss them.
• To get the trowel, go to the bunker across the bridge (the same as “Drown” ending). The trowel will be near the gardener corpse. You will need to pull lever near the entrance to open the grates to not drown (you might need to do this twice, as the grates might close again after you open them).
• Watering can is in the park. There are few ways to get to the park, easy one is to grab a paddle behind the shed (it is there until 8:30 AM), and use the boat near the church.

Job Completed!
Reach 100% progress in the garden area.
Pretty straightforward. Just finish all the tasks. It is also the simplest area.

Master Gardener
Reach 100% progress in all areas.
You actually need this for Picnic ending and achievement. Just have a playthrough where you ignore all the other items and focus on the gardening. Use rain summoning to water all plants (it is much faster than using a watering can). Ensure you are not cutting flowers in the church area.

Might be a weird category, but those achievements require you to get a worm, and could potentially be done in a single playthrough.

1. Get the office key. You can either buy it for 2 coins from the hey stack girl, or you can wait for Sunday, break into the closed gas station using a hammer, and get the key behind the counter.
2. Open the office in the gas station, and activate the PC (its screen will be white).
3. You will find white area instead of gas station, and a tree with an apple. Get the apple.
4. Turn off the PC to return to the gas station.
5. Put the apple on the plate in the garden (near the tree with bird feeders)
6. A worm will appear crawling towards the apple. Grab it.

Worm Treat
Feed a bird.
Once you have the worm, increase the level of garden state to 20%. Magpie will appear. Interact with it to feed it the worm.
Orb
Meet the orb.
Should be done right after Worm Treat.

1. After feeding the bird, go away while you hear a strange sound.
2. Instead of bird, there will be the worm and a strange key. Loot both.
3. Wait for Sunday. Leave the garden, and immediately come back.
4. Check your shed, its interior will change.
5. Open the door to the right, you will get into the corridor with stars above.
6. Run towards the door on the other side (the corridor will stretch, but eventually you will reach the door).
7. Open the door, and interact with the orb.

After this achievement, you can continue playing in the same playthrough.
The Return of Blubje
Put a living goldfish in a fishbowl.

1. With a trowel, go to the park, find a mole hole near the cross-shaped grave and dig it up. Find the dead goldfish.
2. During day hours (approx 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM), go past burnable passage in the park and find fisherman on the bench. Give him the worm.
3. Look and walk away. You will get same affect as with bird.
4. Grab worm again.
5. You will also see that there will be now bridge across the lake/river.
6. Go across and find the building with small water pool. Interact with it to revive goldfish.
7. Go to the area behind the gnome door (the one that appears if you break the gnome), and put the fish into the bowl.

It Wants To Be A Worm!
Find a way to get rid of the worm.
Work towards good ending or “End of the world”. When you leave the church and find the world on fire, hug your right wall. You will see the locked door now being opened. In the new area, you will see a colony of worms. Interact with it, while you have the worm, to get the achievement.

Achievements related to optional exploration and items.
Scavenger
Find all hidden coins outside the garden.

Rich
Possess 25 coins.
25 coins are the total amount of the coins:

• Use the guide to get 15 coins in the world.
• For the coin in the gas station office, don’t buy the key, but wait for the Sunday and break in, otherwise you will lose 2 coins, and will only get 23 coins total.
• Finish all the tasks in the garden to get 10 extra coins.

No Littering!
Throw away the pizza box.
Closer to 9 PM on the Sunday, two guys will appear in the park. You will find the pizza box near one of them. Grab it and interact with one of big garbage bins near the bus station.
Local Delicacy
Purchase an eggball.
You can buy an eggball in the park duing Saturday afternoon/evening (approx from 3 PM to 8 PM). It will cost you 5 coins.
Bring The Band Back Together
Make the schoolband perform again.
You need to find three instruments and give them to kids who appear in the park closer to the Sunday midday.

• You can trowel the trumpet in the room where you find gnome idol.
• You can find cymbals in the room with the maze.
• You can get triangle if you give an eggball to the person behind the big car near the gas station (where you can get a plank).

Whole Again
Bring the severed hand to where it belongs.
You will get a severed hand on the second day, it will be right below the window of your shed outside. Apparently this can happen earlier sometimes, but sometimes it doesn’t happen at all (I assume that’s if you progress too much on the first day). Once you have the hand, go to the place where you get trowel, and interact with the corpse there.
Pop!
Make some popcorn.
You need two components for this:

• Corn – can be found near the scarecrow in the corn field.
• Butter – once you use strange disk on the PC, and end up in the house, you can open fridge on the kitchen. You will find butter there.

Once you have both, interact with the frying pan in the kitchen twice – first to put butter, then to put the corn into it. Loot the popcorn.
Looks Better This Way!
Remove all the trash from the town.
Remove the trash from the following areas:

• Garden
• Park (there is one big area with the trash)
• Right in front of the gas station
• Inside and around gazebo near the gas station.
• Near the tent where you get toilet paper (this might be timelocked, as the tent gets bloody later).

This might bug out and not give you achievement on your first attempt (I had to do this twice).
Well Trimmed!
Trim all potted plants.
There are few “puffy” potted plants that you can trim in the game:

• 4 plants total in the gas station and in the office.
• 2 plants in the house (room with PC).
• 1 plant in the toilet.
