“Welcome gamers! Are you looking for a comprehensive list of weapons in Fida Puti Samurai? Look no further, as this guide provides all the details you need to know about each weapon, along with my personal tier rating for them. Let’s dive in and master every weapon in the game!”
Introduction.
I will be adding images in at some point in the future. It’s just that it has taken a few hours to produce this guide so far, and images will take a while longer to screencap, crop, and insert. So bear with me.
Tiers are defined simply by my opinion on the worthiness of a weapon.
F = Don’t bother using
D = Replace with a better weapon as soon as possible
C = Same as above, but these weapons suck a little less
B = A good weapon, not much to complain about
A = I will likely keep this in my inventory as a sidearm, or for variety
S = I’m using this weapon for 99% of the run
Additional notes:
Stats such as accuracy, are not based upon any broad statistic that covers every weapon. Accuracy is noted as relative to other weapons of that particular class. So as I may state that a shotgun has medium accuracy, it does not mean that it has less spread than a handgun with low accuracy.
This guide does not take into account modifications to weapons, because the laser pointer doubles the accuracy of every weapon. Just assume that if a weapon has all available modifications it’s tier increases by 1.
Maybe in the future I can include solid figures for things such as fire rate or spread angle. We will have to see.
Anyways, I hope this guide is useful to you, I don’t mind if you disagree with my opinion on a weapon, to each their own. Have a great day, and have fun playing this game!
Handguns
Damage: 9
Range: Medium
Accuracy: Medium
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Small
Alt fire: 3 round burst, can hold both fire buttons for increased rate of fire.
Found at: You begin the game with this weapon. Can rarely be found in gun stores.
Notes:
You should replace this with a Submachine Cat immediately.
Can be dual wielded with another Pistol.
Tier: C
Vintage Gun
Damage: 11
Range: Short- Medium
Accuracy: Medium, alt fire is Low
Rate of Fire: Slow, single shot
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Small
Alt fire: Gangster like grip, moderately increases fire rate to medium, at the cost of increased spread
Found at: Bunny Troops will often carry this in Chapter 1, rarely from then onwards. Can rarely be found in gun stores.
Notes:
Not particularly useful.
Can be dual wielded with another Vintage Gun.
Tier: D
Revolver
Damage: 23
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Slow
Headshots? Yes
Ammo Type: Heavy
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Raider Troops often carry this for the whole game.
Notes:
A very useful weapon, when dual wielded it makes for a good sidearm whilst you scavenge for ammo to use with your primary weapon of choice.
Can be dual wielded with another Revolver.
Tier: A
Flare Gun
Damage: 5
Range: Long
Accuracy: Medium
Rate of Fire: Slow
Headshots?: No
Ammo Type: Small
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Rarely in gun shops.
Notes:
Can be dual wielded with another Flare Gun (Why you would use one, never mind two is your beyond me)
Causes burning for a long time.
Can be used to light dark places
Can be used to destroy vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: F
Toy Gun
Damage 22
Range: Long
Accuracy: High
Rate of Fire: Slow
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Claw Machines, and sometimes on police mongrels.
Notes:
Just use a revolver.
Can dual wielded with another Toy Gun
Will explode after a few shots if you don’t allow it to cool down.
Tier: D
Submachine Cat
Damage: 9
Range: Medium
Accuracy: Medium
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Small
Alt fire: Wide sweeping shots
Found at: Bunny Troops often carry this in chapters 1-3, then rarely from then onwards.
Notes:
Probably the best weapon in the handgun class.
Can dual wielded with another Submachine Cat. (you become a bullet hose)
Tier: A
Alien Pistol
Damage: 10
Range: Long
Accuracy: High
Rate of Fire: High
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Alien Troops often carry this through the whole game.
Notes:
Fires in bursts of 7 shots, with a short cooldown in between bursts.
Can dual wielded with another Alien Pistol.
Tier: B
SKIP
Damage: 10
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Small
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: On a desk in a secret area, which map it is, I cannot remember. Will update when I happen upon it again. Even once purchased, enemies will never use this weapon, unlike most others.
Notes:
Single shot fire, so spamming fire is necessary (highway to carpal tunnel)
I would not recommend using this, as a general advisory towards your health.
Can be dual wielded with another SKIP.
Tier:B
Shotguns
Damage: 45
Range: Short – Medium
Accuracy: Medium
Rate of Fire: Slow
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Shotgun
Alt fire: Changes firing mode to use explosive ammo, will shoot grenades instead.
Found at: Bunny Troops and Shotgun Zombies through all chapters, it will become rarer as the chapters progress.
Notes:
As the name implies, it is reloaded after every shot, which really hinders the damage output of this weapon, as well as it’s ability to kill large amounts of enemies.
Grenades can be used to destroy walls, pipes, and vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: D
Shotgun
Damage: 75
Range: Medium – Long
Accuracy: High
Rate of Fire: Medium
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Shotgun
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Fox Troops through all chapters, will consistently appear at later chapters too.
Notes:
A noticeable upgrade to the single barreled shotgun, largely due to it being pump action, rather than break action.
I preferred to use this over other shotguns until finding the Autoshotgun.
Tier: A
Short Barrel Shotgun
Damage: 85
Range: Short – Medium
Accuracy: Low
Rate of Fire: Medium
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Shotgun
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Fox Troops, during chapters 2-3, appears far less often from then onwards.
Notes:
Functionally similar to the Shotgun, however far greater spread, for very little extra damage.
Tier: B
Double Barreled Shotgun
Damage: 160
Range: Short – Medium
Accuracy: :Low
Rate of Fire: Low
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Shotgun
Alt fire: Empties both barrels, devastating at close range.
Found at: Rarely in Weapon Crates, and on Weapon Racks in secret rooms.
Notes:
Despite it having the potential to deal a whopping 320 damage per shot, with only a short reload in between, the requirements for such close range to the only enemies that can withstand such punishment is far too risky. A fun weapon, but not a practical one.
Tier: B
Double Barreled Punk Shotgun
Damage: 160
Range: Point Blank
Accuracy: Terrible
Rate of Fire: Low
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Shotgun
Alt fire: Empties both barrels, devastating at absolute point blank range.
Found at: Heavily Armoured Punk Troops.
Notes:
Also ignites enemies.
The incredibly wide spread makes this gun incredibly difficult to use. The fire damage is a negligible boost. As with the double barrelled shotgun, it’s only realistic use is against bosses, but the close range requirement makes this a fairly useless weapon.
Tier: D
Autoshotgun (Autoshotfun <3)
Damage: 65
Range: Medium – Long
Accuracy: High
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Shotgun
Alt fire: 4 round burst, can hold both fire buttons for an even faster rate of fire
Found at: Weapon crates in secret areas, will appear on armoured Fox Troops after purchasing, but seemingly only during chapter 2 and 3.
Notes:
Use this.
Seriously.
Damage testing between all weapons in this game against each of the tankiest enemies, and the bosses had this consistently get the fastest kill times.
With the laser pointer the Autoshotgun is capable of killing normal enemies in one shot all the way to the end of the view distance.
Tier: S
Rifles
Damage: 18
Range: Long
Accuracy: Medium, Aim Down Sights is a marginal improvement.
Rate of Fire: Medium
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Heavy
Alt fire: Aim Down Sights
Found at: Zombie Troops
Notes:
A pretty bad rifle, it will get the job done, but can be replaced within one or two zones with either the Pipe Rifle, or the Revolver.
Tier: D
Pipe Rifle
Damage: 38
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Slow
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Heavy
Alt fire: Very high zoom through scope.
Found at: Punk Troops
Notes:
A somewhat decent weapon in early chapters if you lack a weapon for killing at long range.
Tier: C
P. Blaster
Damage: 16
Range: Long
Accuracy: Medium
Rate of Fire: Fast, very fast with alt fire.
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Hold to increase rate of fire drastically. Will explode if not allowed to cool down.
Found at: Bunny Troops.
Notes:
Quite useful, but it drinks energy ammo. Which is ideal to use on a better energy weapon (F. Maureen).
Tier: B
N16
Damage: 16
Range: Long
Accuracy: High, Aim Down Sights is a marginal improvement.
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Small
Alt fire: Aim Down Sights
Found at: Punk Troops, and Armoured Police Mongrels.
Notes:
A solid weapon, probably a better idea to use dual wield Submachine Cats.
Tier: B
F. Maureen
Damage: 18
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Pay $5 for a short use of the Maureen Tracking Software
Found at: Weapon Crates, and on Gun Racks in secret rooms. Once obtained it will be rarely used by Bunny Troops.
Notes:
A fantastic gun. As with all energy weapons, it will disable the shield of Mecha Waifus, allowing for a quick swap to a high damage ballistic weapon to finish them off. Will also kill most enemies with a single headshot. But comparing using only this, or only the Autoshotgun, the Autoshotgun still kills Mecha Waifus faster.
Tier: A+ or S-, depends on whether you are an optimist, or a pessimist.
Rail Gun
Damage: 50 – 125
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Slow
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Weapon Crates, and on Gun Racks in secret rooms. Can also be obtained from Armoured Alien Troops.
Notes:
Deals 50 damage on a quick shot, but half a second of holding the fire button will fully charge it to 125. Will insta kill any enemy except the most tanky.
A fantastic weapon to use. But does feel somewhat slow compared to other weapons.
More suitable for a methodical approach, rather than a run and gun.
Tier: S
Special Weapons
Damage: 25 uncharged, 45-75 fully charged. 20 with stabs
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Slow, with slow projectiles.
Headshots?: No
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Quick stabs
Found at: Succubus demons in the city streets.
Notes:
Has two visually distinct levels of charge
Projectiles explode in a fairly big radius, does not have a graphical effect to reflect this.
Projectiles can be used to destroy vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: A
Minigun
Damage: 14
Range: Long
Accuracy: High
Rate of Fire: Very fast (at full spin)
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Small
Alt fire: Shoots a grenade (consumes explosive ammo)
Found at: First boss, very rarely in weapon crates.
Notes:
Incredibly high damage potential. Probably going to be your go-to for boss killing until you get the Autoshotgun.
Shooting applies constant pushback, therefore has some value if you want to get somewhere very, very fast. Walking forward easily compensates for the pushback.
Grenades can be used to destroy walls, pipes, and vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: A
Light Machine Gun
Damage: 22
Range: Medium
Accuracy: Low, High with Aim Down Sights
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: Yes
Ammo Type: Heavy
Alt fire: Aim Down Sights
Found at: Armoured Punk Troops
Notes:
Deals very high DPS, great for running and gunning against the furry army.
Tier: A
Micro Rocket Launcher
Damage: 20
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Fast
Headshots?: No
Ammo Type: Explosive
Alt fire: Prepares 4 rockets to fire at once.
Found at: Mecha Waifus
Notes:
Can be dual wielded with another Micro Rocket Launcher
Drinks explosive ammo.
Can be used to destroy walls, pipes, and vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: B
Rocket Launcher
Damage: 50
Range: Long
Accuracy: Pinpoint
Rate of Fire: Slow, with slow projectiles.
Headshots?: no
Ammo Type: Explosive
Alt fire: First click prepares a nuke, the second fires it. (The same explosion as destroying nuclear bomb trucks, will kill almost everything, and yourself if you use it indoors) Costs more ammo.
Found at: Weapon Crates in secret rooms.
Notes:
Can be used to destroy walls, pipes, and vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: A
Flamethrower
Damage: 7
Range: Close
Accuracy: High
Rate of Fire: Very Fast
Headshots?: No
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Kick
Found at: Weapon Crates, and Gun Racks in Secret Rooms
Notes:
Flames bounce off walls, floors, and ceilings.
The burn DOT only lasts a short while compared to the flare gun.
Not a great weapon, there are better uses for energy ammo.
Can be used to destroy vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: C
???
Damage: 1
Range: Medium
Accuracy: High (Fires in a parabolic arc)
Rate of Fire: Low
Headshots?: No
Ammo Type: Energy
Alt fire: Scatter shot, costs more energy.
Found at: Weapon Crates in secret rooms.
Notes:
Shots strip enemies of clothing and armour, for increased damage taken. Makes them Nakey, eheheh Affects bosses as well. Is blocked by Mecha Waifu shields.
Actually pretty useful against bosses, loses value against normal enemies, even armoured ones, as strong weapons will have already killed them by the time you have switched to ???, shot them, and then switched back.
Tier: A
Melee
Damage: 33 – 42
Found at: Zombie Bunnygirls in the streets, and the 2nd boss.
Notes:
Long reach on attacks means you can hit enemies in an arc up to around 3 meters away.
Tier: A
Fire Axe
Damage: 52 – 65
Found at: Zombie Axe Girls, and in Fire Axe holders in the mall, and in some areas, like the Carrier ULTRA Market warehouse.
Notes:
A swing of the axe and a kick will kill most enemies.
Tier: A
Sledge Hammer
Damage: 41 – 52
Found at: Some secret areas, like behind destroyable shelves in the Theater, opposite the projection room (A box of stuff is on top of it, to the right.)
Notes:
Can be used to destroy walls, pipes, and vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: S
Consumables
Heals ??? HP (I forgot to confirm a value)
Tier: S (Healing may be plentiful, but it’s there when you most need it)
Pineapple
Damage: 140 – 160
Found at: Claw Machines
Notes:
Has a short time between landing, and exploding.
Bounces everywhere, but where you need it to land.
I personally find it inconsistent to use, and you get so few during a run that it doesn’t make sense to sacrifice an inventory slot for what is essentially, bad dynamite.
Can be used to destroy walls, pipes, and vine walls blocking secret areas.
Tier: B
Dynamite
Damage: 140 – 160
Found at: Claw Machines, everywhere that ammo boxes can spawn in place of them.
Notes:
Likely to be your primary method of destroying walls, pipes, and vine walls blocking secrets, at least until you get your hands on a Sledgehammer.
Explodes immediately upon impact.
You get so many that they become a viable means of additional damage against bosses.
Tier: S
Non-Combat Tools
Shows entity name, and HP. It works on a lot of things, but not everything.
Found at: The counter in porn shops, and on the little table in front of the washing machine in the basement.
I don’t need to tier list this.
Card Reader
The remains of a scrapped idea to implement Dead Rising inspired weapon crafting.
Can be used to bonk enemies to death. Not much more damaging than a kick.
Found at: The counter in porn shops.
Tier: SS+ G, it’s the only thing less useful than the Flare Gun.
VR Dog
Passively heals, and boosts health whilst the dog is alive and happy (producing hearts)
Found at: A secret room in Waifu Labs.
Tier: A
