Welcome to my guide for the Elden Ring DLC, specifically focusing on overcoming arachnophobia in the game. This guide is for players who struggle with the spider-scorpion enemies introduced in the DLC, and will not cover the base game. Please be aware that there may be spoilers ahead. Let’s get started!
Main Gate Cross
>In the following room there are a lot small spider scorpions hanging (easy to aggro), with one large spider scorpion at the top of the staircase.
Last one in this section is waiting to ambush you at the top of the staircase.
Total: 3 large spider scorpions
Belurat, Tower Settlement / Small Private Altar

Bonny Village

Bonny Village – Map
Viaduct Minor Tower
After you enter Rauh Ancient Ruins, past the first door there is a big spider scorpion (with a few small ones with him) at the bottom of the staircase.
After you kill him, there is another one to the left with 2 more on the wall above him.
Counted 4 for that floor with a few small ones.
On the floor below you will have two choices:
1) Door –> safe option
2) Square-shaped tunnel –> not safe option
If you choose the tunnel, there will be one spider scorpion pattroling at the exit and 2 other (farther away from the first one) lying on the wall.
Counter 3 in sandy room.
After that room there is a passage to the left which leads to the crossing. No matter which path you choose (left or right) you will encounter spider scorpions and make a circle to the place you began. I would personally suggest you to take the right path where the flowers are.
With one pattroling on the ground and the other on the wall. After you kill both of them, there is a room to the left with one black spider scorpion hanging from the ceiling.
When you exit the room, there are 2 more sticking on each side of the wall.
Counted 5 after the sandy room
On the ground: 4
On the wall: 7
Hanging: 1
Total: 12
Rauh Ancient, West
After the lift there are 2 flying spider scorpions and several small ones (I encountered 2).
Ravine North
Hugging the wall to the left you will encounter walking spider scorpions (counted 3). Flying spider scorpions pattroling on river (counted 3).
If you follow the river you will encounter 2 more flying spider scorpions and 2 walking ones near the left wall (walking ones might be harder to spot because they have the high ground).
Right side/path should be safe. I haven’t encountered them there.
Flying: 5
On ground: 5
Total: 10
Viaduct Minor Tower + Rauh Ancient, West + Ravine North – Map
Spiral Rise
Cannot see him from afar.
Spider scoripion is waiting above enterance and I suggest you to not try looking at him, because you will probably aggro him (just run through and fight him).
Sadly he is the only one that I don’t have a screenshot of (large black spider scorpion).
Honorable mentions
Cerulean Coast Cross
On the right side only small ones will be visible while large ones will be buried into the ground, 4 in total.
Map is inserted further below.
Finger Ruins of Rhia and Fingerstone Hill

I will show all palces with markers on the map.
Following pictures are from Fingerstone Hill
Careful when entering a cave
Would suggest watching a full walkthrough of these 2 places on youtube.
