Before we begin this guide is largely based of ‘Just Human”s video guide of the DLC. I have adapted it into a written format with some quality of life improvements for extra efficiency.

The choice I recommend for a single playthrough (I don’t like going to NG+) is to Assist Leda kill Hornsent then Assist Sir Ansbach against Leda.
We miss Swift Slash and a Talisman however you can easily get Swift Slash via a drop from a friend as they can make copies of it with their Lost Ashes of War. You can also trade someone online to get the Retaliatory Crossed Tree-Talisman.
Otherwise if you do go NG+ just assist Leda both times for one cycle then Hornsent in the other cycle.

There are two endings to the Dragon Communion Priestess quest, both with different loot outcomes
The first outcome is to NOT put her to sleep with Thiollier’s Concoction and just leave her as she is now. With this outcome, after you defeat Bayle you will receive

• Flowerstone Gavel

The second outcome is t put her to sleep with Thiollier’s Concoction
To do this rest at grace until night
Talk to her to put her to sleep
Rest at grace for another two full night cycles
Talk to her and she will express her disappointment at falling asleep
With this outcome, after you defeat Bayle you will receive

• Dragonbolt of Florissax

Talk to her again and admit it was you who put her to sleep and you will receive

• Ancient Dragon Florissax Spirit Ash

For now either leave her or put her to sleep
Warp to Dragon Pit Terminus
SE out and east up hill overlooking a sleeping drake to read a message from Igon
East down to sleeping Jagged Peak Drake and kill it for

NE up path and east up cliff
Turn north at the spirit spring and go down to loot

South across bridge to activate Site of Grace – Foot of the Jagged Peak
South along cliff to two Jagged Peak Drakes fighting
Let them whittle each other down a little then kill them both for

East to talk to Igon to receive

• Igon’s Furled Finger

We will now be able to summon him against Bayle
East up two spirit springs and SE through cliffs and south up hill and hug the right wall to avoid boulders and loot

Can warp back to Dragon Priestess to talk to her about Igon and Bayle for more dialogue

SE hug ledge down to crack and drop down to stairs and go down east to corpse with Fireproof Pickled Liver
From this corpse face south and jump across to the open window and then drop into building
SE out to a scorpion ambush and loot
