Hint 1: There’s two things that the duck can spend his money on. What has he been grumbling about this entire prologue?
Hint 2: He spent his money on the bread. Who would he have bought the bread for?
Answer: The Duck Detective spent his/her last money on Bread for The Duck Detective
To proceed: Click the phone on the table
The Entrance
Words:
Receptionist: Name, Wintheimer, Sad
Calendar: Cute, Happy, Remembered
Blue suggestion box: Birthday, Laura, Mug, Sophie, Nobody
Suspects:
Giraffe
Scenario: ___ is feeling ___ because ___ has ___ her ___.
Hint 1: Who is feeling sad? There are two people in this scene.
Hint 2: The giraffe is feeling sad, can we deduce her first name?
Hint 3: The calendar is giraffe themed and has today’s date (Thursday) circled. There is a note in the suggestions box that says it’s Sophie’s Birthday next Thursday. We can now fill in the name of the giraffe under suspects.
Answer: Sophie is feeling sad because nobody has remembered her birthday.
To proceed: Talk to Sophie and wish her a happy birthday. I personally haven’t tried the option that is just her full name but it should let you proceed regardless. Go ahead and enter the office (the door on the left)
The Office: The Suspects
By entering the room: Frederson, Lunch
In red carpeted area:
Paper on the floor: Petrovic, Bus Driver

The Suspects
Scenario:
___ the giraffe works as a ___.
The bear is ___ and he is the ___.
___ the cat works in ___.
The crocodile called ___ works in the ___.
Hints to fill in suspect list:
Giraffe:
Hint: We already know the giraffe’s name from earlier, and what does she work as?
Answer: Her name is Sophie Wintheimer, and she works as a receptionist.
Bear:
Hint: The bear is dressed very smartly, what could that indicate? The cat also mentions someone called Manfred not giving her a raise. What could the bear’s last name be? Might be something to do with the nameplate on his desk.
Answer: The bear’s name is Manfred Ernst. The only person able to give a raise would be the branch manager, which would line up with the cat mentioning that Manfred isn’t giving her a raise. No idea why the nameplate says Herr.
Cat:
Hint: The cat is always on the phone, what job could she be working as? There is also a letter on the boss’s table from L. Angst who is asking for a raise. Who asked for a raise?
Answer: The cat’s name is Laura Angst, as she is the only one who asked for a raise. The only name that starts with L that we have is Laura.
Crocodile:
Hint: The crocodile mentions he works in the Operating Office. Earlier on, the cat complains to the bear that Frederson should be fired.
Answer: His last name isnt Petrovic as he isn’t a bus driver, and it’s not Sederis because somebody called Rufus Sederis is the employee of the month, and it’s not Whitlock because that’s the name on the unattended PC. Hence, his last name is Frederson, and his first name is Freddy.
Answer:
Sophie the giraffe works as a receptionist.
The bear is Manfred and he is the Branch Manager.
Laura the cat works in Customer Service.
The crocodile called Freddy works in the Operating Office.
Now, we can exit the main office.

Answer: Purple eyed alien
Scenario:
___ received the following presents from her colleagues:
___ gave a plushie.
___ gave a book.
___ gave a necklace.
___ got stolen.
Hint 1: Out of all the colleagues, who would give Sophie presents? It’s not Freddy because they’re not close, its probably not the boss, and Margaret already prepared the party for her.
Plushie: Who would like the cutesy things in the office?
Book: Who wrote the book? Seems like an odd gift ngl like you gift someone your own book
Necklace: Looks like a romantic present. Did she date someone here?
Stolen: Seems like all the colleagues who would give a present have already done so. Doesn’t look like anything is missing.
Answer:
Sophie received the following presents from her colleagues:
Laura gave a plushie.
Rufus gave a book.
Boris gave a necklace.
Nothing got stolen.
The Birthday Consequence: The Message, The Business
Parking lot:
Noticeboard: Import, Scary, Brezel
Boss office:
Manfred: Legally
The Message
Scenario:
___ received a ___ ___ that contained a ___ ___.
Hint 1: This letter was found among the birthday presents, so who could could have received the letter?
Hint 2: Is there a hidden message in the letter? Maybe the underlined letters are telling us something. It is quite a funnily worded letter as well.
Hint 3: Try taking every first letter. It spells out BEQUIETORELSE. Out of all the words (Nice, Romantic, Scary, Silly), which emotion would this message invoke?
Answer: Sophie received a silly letter that contained a scary message.
The Business
Scenario:
___ are being ___ ___ from ___.
Hint 1: The name of the game should give a hint as to what is being imported. Also, the weirdly full bag of salami that Freddy took by mistake is very out of place.
Hint 2: The notice on the noticeboard at the parking lot mentions that meat is banned from being imported. We assume that we’re in Brezel based on this import notice. Out of the 3 areas left, which one is the salami being imported from? The letter in the salami bag mentions ‘West Currency’, and we have a bus map in the Operating Office.

Hint 3: Somehow he must be able to obtain these vouchers to be sold. Who would be the only one who would provide the vouchers to him?
