Intro
My main idea was to streamline as many achievements together to make them unlock easier, other than the grinding ones.
Ultimate DOOM
Once you load in, punch in god mode “IDDQD” then no clip “IDCLIP” and all weapons “IDFA”. You are now set. Run to the exit for each level. The main goal is to get the “Untouchable” achievement.
Through this I also achieved “An important looking door”, “Not so friendly Fire”, and “More like a dream”, in the first level E1M1.
In level 3 E1M3 I went straight for the secret exit for “Alternate Demension”. For running straight to the exit every time with no clip, by the time I finished E1M7 I have acquired “Untouchable”. As I was running through, I had the shotgun equipped and was earning my double kills with it to earn “Groovy”.
In E1M8 (the last level of the episode) turn off God mode. At the start there is a bunch of Pinkies and barrels. Blowing up the barrels can net you “Timing is everything”. Switch to the chain gun as you should have 200 ammo, if not, IDFA. Shoot all ammo without letting go of the trigger while heading to the teleport pad that takes you to the death end section. Wait till you run out of ammo to get “Heavenly Joy”. Turn off no clip, and enter the teleport. Switch to rockets to get splash damage to make yourself die faster. (This part isn’t required, but I just like finishing the episode just cause.)
From this point on, we will ALWAYS be picking Ultra-violence for difficulty.
Now go to level select, pick Episode 2 level 8, E2M8 Tower of Babel, on Ultra-violence. In this level we will get 5 achievements. In this map, also avoid getting hit at all cost.
At the start, enter God mode and give yourself weapons. Leave and start fighting lost souls. Kill till there is at least one left, Switch to the BFG, and kill a single lost soul to earn “Overkill”. (You could have earned this sooner if you wanted, this was just where I got it.) Now find the Cyberdemon. We will start to work his health down to where you can kill it with a pistol. Be sure to use quick save just in case you kill him with anything but the pistol. Once you kill it with the pistol, you will unlock “Shoot it until it dies”. Once the end level screen starts, you will also unlock “Overprepared”, “The Only Thing They Fear Is You”, and “Clean Slate”. I noticed when I was playing the PS4 version that I unlocked the “Fear is you” achievement even though I got hit, but I would still play it safe and avoid getting hit.
Next level select is Episode 4 level 8, E4M8 Unto The Cruel. Enter God mode, weapons, and no clip. Run to the end to fight the Spider Mastermind. Be sure to take off no clip once there. Kill the mastermind, and anything else there you desire. Enter exit will lower, enter it and earn “DOOM”.
DOOM II
Play through Map 2 getting nothing but chainsaw kills, but make sure you pick up the super shotgun. You need it for Map 3.
At the start of Map 3, enter the berserk powerup cheat, IDBEHOLDS. We need it for later. When you enter the room, chainsaw the imps in that room. When you leave and before you go up all the stairs, make a quick save here. When you turn around the corner, there is 6 zombie enemies there, use the super shotgun here to kill 4 enemies at once for the trophy “Skeet Shooting”. Reload the quicksave if you didn’t get it. Continue with chainsaw kills. “Until it is done” should pop in this area before you go up the lift to the big open area with imps and chain gun Zombies.
Take out the plasma rifle and kill 5 imps quickly for “Cookin’ with Plasma”. Pull out the rocket launcher and kill 3 enemies with 1 rocket for “Bowling for gibs”. These two trophies could have also been done sooner when you are running through DOOM if you are lucky, but I didn’t get lucky so I got them here. Now is the time to switch to your fists and only kill with them. In the back of this big room, you will get the blue key to open the blue doors. Now is a good time to kill a zombie and get his course to fall in the doorway to get squished for “Doormat”. In this same area, the trophy “A man and a half” should unlock here. Keep going till the last area of the level to where there is the final group of imps. Punching them should get you the last fist kills for “Guns are for wusses”.
End game.
Level select and pick the final level, Map30 Icon of Sin. God mode, weapons, enter teleport. Kill the skeleton if you want. No clip into the skull to find Romeros head, kill it to beat DOOM II for the achievement.
Master Levels for DOOM II
TNT: Evolution
The Plutonia Experiment
No Rest For The Living
SIGIL
Legacy of Rust
Quit the level.
Level select Episode 2 Counterfeit Eden. E2M6 Soul Silo. This is where you will get the vast majority of monster kills minus one. Play through normally till you get to the yellow key. You will teleport to a new area. This is the area you want to earn the “Screen wipe” achievement as there is a hundred Imps here. Quick save just in case if you can’t get it to pop. Be sure to make sure you charge the Calamity Blade to get the full attack. Play through the level and kill as much as you can to ensure you get a kill of each enemy. When you get to the exit part that has a bunch of Cyber Demons, just no clip to the exit switch.
You will now be on the final level, E2M7 Brink. Make sure you have no clip off for the moment. Progress through the level till you come to a big empty room with a switch. Activating the switch will raise the final new monster. If you have killed all the previous enemy types along the way, this should be where “Indiscriminate Headhunter” unlocks. If it didn’t, you missed an enemy, and I can’t help you.
Now no clip to the end switch, beating Legacy of Rust for the achievement, and earn the 100% Completion!
