Welcome to our gaming guide for Disgaea 4 Complete+! In this article, we will provide you with a comprehensive step-by-step guide on how to create 100% perfect characters and equipment from the very beginning of a new save. Follow our instructions and you’ll have the ultimate team and gear in no time. Let’s dive in!
Guide overview
If you want your units to eventually have stats like this along with optimal innocents, read on.
Early days, Early goals
- Save up as many Mr. Gency Exit items as possible.
- Start doing the Ranking Shop weekly challenges where possible to save up points, submit your scores on Friday AND Saturday. “Kill enemies” and “Steal items” should especially be focused.
- Reach and complete (at least) story mission 5-4, if not complete all story missions.
- After doing the story missions to at least 5-4, find The Scalper NPC in Mystery Gates while doing the Item World and buy all of his X-dimensional tickets.
- Reach and unlock the map ‘Trial of Ordeals 4’.
- Create a Nekomota character and obtain somebody with the skill Big Bang, either get a Bouncer or get Feinrich to Lv500.
Start by creating a new game if you don’t already have one.
Complete the tutorial level, and check the Ranking Shop, turn online features on in the settings if they are not already enabled. If the weekly challenge is something you are capable of participating in (this early on the only realistically doable ones will likely be “kill enemies” and “steal items”) then it is highly recommended for you to participate while you can and submit your score by Friday evening and once again on Saturday to lock it in, followed by claiming your rewards during the next week. A good score target to aim for is however much is needed for the mini challenge clears +20% or more to that number. If the challenge is something you cannot do or is not worth doing like chara world clears, then check again on Sunday for a new challenge.
Progress your way through the story mode until you beat story level 3-2. It would be recommended to create at least two Thief characters at some point for easier item stealing but you’re not required to. 3-2 is the first real mission to grind your levels on to speed up progress up and make your life easier, if you so desire.
If you do want to stop and level grind a little bit, use the cheat shop to change Enemy Strength to Lv3, this will cause multiple enemies in the stage to become Lv33. by using your party you can weaken three of these enemies and then throw them onto each other to form one Lv99 enemy, which you can have the character you want to level up kill on an appropriate geo panel. This is because in Disgaea level 99 enemies give exp equal to one in the mid 300s. Reset the enemy levels once you’re done, level 35 to 40 for your desired characters is a good goal and any more than that right now is a waste.
Progress through the story until you beat level 5-4. The important level is 5-2, but beating 5-4 is good for later if you end up spending a lot of time here without progressing the story any further.
You don’t have to do this, but 5-2 is the best level available early on to speedrun unlocking more content and getting higher levels.
NOTICE:
If you want to still be challenged by the base story levels, instead go complete all of them now. Once you’ve beaten them it would be advisable to go and quickly enter NG+ and make your way back to beating 5-4 before doing any side content, then continue the guide by grinding the 5-2 stage. You will want to enter NG+ at some point but doing so resets all of your cleared stages back to being locked and uncleared, so the advantage to entering it now is so that you won’t have clear everything twice.
Use the cheat shop to change Enemy Strength to Lv8 which will make every enemy in the stage level 99 and you will have access to up to +200% exp. This is the best early level because in Disgaea level 99 enemies give exp equal to one in the mid 300s. You can do this to have your characters reach about level 250-300. It is very strongly recommended that you create and raise a Nekomota, and also get a Bouncer (Raise a Warrior to Lv20, create an Armor Knight, get him up to Lv100.) and then raise him to Lv160 so he can be promoted into a Netherworld SP and learn the Big Bang skill. Additionally, at least one strong Bow user and Gun user are advisable to help you beat the Mt. Ordeal stages.
Now that you have a reasonably competent party of at least Lv200s, unlock the Mt. Ordeal stages at the Senate by passing the “Open Gate to Mt. Ordeal” bill. The first two stages shouldn’t pose too much of a threat to you, feel free to repeat stage 1 and steal Pravda Pendants from enemies to help your stats if needed or Royal Rings from stage 2. Stage 3 will likely be difficult but you should be able to push through and reach stage 4 with a bit of effort.
Once you have unlocked stage 4 and have both a Nekomota + any other monster character and a Bouncer with Big Bang, you can clear the stage with them by having any monster fuse into the Nekomota and then the Nekomota fuse into the Bouncer, who can now hit all the enemies with Big Bang. Repeat this at least a few times to get him a higher level, increase the enemy level at the Cheat Shop to make them stronger as he gets stronger.
You can now have any generic humanoid character reincarnate as a Netherworld SP or above to learn Big Bang before reincarnating back as the class you want, or go to the Chara World with any special class character you want to invest your time into and have them learn Big Bang by being in the same Cam-pain HQ group and picking it. Monster classes can simply be the character you have combine into the Nekomota in order to gain exp. Raise your characters up as much as you like, it is not worth going beyond Lv2000 or so at this point.
Before, during, or after any part of all this, go to the Item World as much or as little as you like, making sure to always clear out every X0th floor and saving the Mr. Gency Exit reward you get as you will need a stockpile of them later. The more the better. If you happen to find the Scalper NPC, buy all of his tickets to unlock the X-dimension maps.
NOTICE:
In the Item World in the Innocent Town you can sometimes meet a green Prinny named “Prinny Kurtis”; be warned that there is a bug in the code with his interactions. To be able to unlock him as a playable character you must find him in Innocent Town five seperate times and talk to him each time, but if you talk to him twice on the fifth time – even if you talk to him > pass a bill > talk again, then the interaction will bug out and it will reset the interaction counter back to zero, forcing you to have to find him five more times.
Innocents, Item Duping, and the Land of Carnage
- Get your hands on a Rarity 0 Exodus.
- Get your hands on some innocents – especially a Statistician, a Manager, a Guardian and a Pugilist at least.
- Create a Battle Suit character (complete chapter 8, plus have a Lv30 Warrior + Armor Knight to unlock) and obtain a Puppy Paw Stick.
- Level up your Exodus, then use item duping to dupe it multiple times along with the innocents.
- After doing the story missions to and including at least 5-4, find the Scalper NPC in Mystery Gates while doing the Item World and buy all of his Promotionhell Tickets.
- Unlock the Land of Carnage (Complete 40% of all X-dimension maps, as well as obtain all 6 P Flonzor X pirate ship parts)
Your major goal during this section is obtaining a rarity 0 Exodus. There are three ways you can do this:
- Purchasing one from the Ranking Shop for 3,000 points. This is by far the easiest method, but requires that you participate in the weekly rankings and ideally make the top ten for high score for a given week to get the needed points.
- Steal one from the X-dimensional map xfinal-6: Boiling Point. This requires you beat mission 9-6 and then buy the appropriate ticket from the Scalper, after which you retry the map likely around 100+ times until one of the five enemies happens to be holding one.
- Go to the Land of Carnage and do the Item World with fairly high level items, and hope to find one randomly equipped to an enemy or in the bonus gauge. Not recommended due to the high degree of randomness, but it is an option.
Once you have your Exodus, keep it safe for a later step.
Collect important innocents. Run some random items through the item world for more Mr. Gency Exits, random innocents to stockpile including an ideally Lv100 Mediator, and buffed items to help you with your grind later. Certain item types often or always have the same innocent types so keep an eye out for those instances, and the most powerful innocent types like the Statistician and Guardian can be found by reverse pirating an item you’ve already gotten to a high level, you’re far more likely to get them from floors 100 and 80 than floor 20. Get a Pugilist by putting a Gladiator and Marksman onto your highest rank item along with your best mediator and talking to them in the Innocent Town. The level of the innocents doesn’t matter and the Mediator’s level is your % chance he will do the event at all, the only thing that really matters is the ranking of the item itself which will determine the resulting innocent’s starting level.
If you’ve done very well with the Ranking Shop, you can buy most innocents for points here too and at a high starting level. This is mostly for the Statistician, Guardian, and the weapon specialists.
Create a Battle Suit character. You will need to have completed chapter 8 in the story for the basic unlock condition, and level up both a Warrior and Armor Knight if you have not done so, you only need a Lv20 one and it will be easier for you if you keep their level low. Obtain a Puppy Paw Stick too, the easiest way to get one is to capture the highest level Felyine you can (ideally over level 1000, x1-1 is a good place to get one) and discipline them in the Discipline Room built in your Cam-pain HQ. See this guide[gamefaqs.gamespot.com] for how to do that effectively. You can alternately acquire a guaranteed legendary Puppy Paw Stick from the Sphere Master who is findable rarely in the Mystery Gates in the Item world, but only on floors above 30. You must have captured enough Level Spheres during your trips through the item world in order to receive it as a reward, you can and should repeatedly back out of the reward menu until he offers you a rarity 0 one.
Find the Scalper in the Item World and buy his tickets. He sells a different one for each of the story missions you’ve beaten up to and including final-6 and there are two different encounters you can have where he sells one half of the tickets on floors 1 to 49 and the other half on floors 51 to 99. Once you’ve purchased all of them you won’t have to do it again, you don’t strictly need every single ticket except for the “100% the X-dimension” achievement, but several maps are useful for capturing certain valuable high level enemies for disciplining and obtaining.
NOTICE:
If you’re achievement hunting during your playthrough too, you will want to get every ship part and item too, likely the best time to do the major part of the work for these two achievements is right around here. Now is a good time to start preparing for this guide[www.playstationtrophies.org] in advance, before you get too invested. Note that you don’t need to get every single pirate ship part[gamefaqs.gamespot.com] from discipline while doing it, as you can complete the list by purchasing raffle tickets from the Raffle Ticket Seller in the Item World, as any ship parts gained from those will always be ones you’re missing so as to let you easily complete the list.
Unrelated but you may find it useful: To find the Commando pirates enter one gate of one type, then all gates of the other type. They will now show up very frequently.
Unlock the Land of Carnage at some point. To do this you will need to beat at least 25 X-dimension maps and obtain all six P Flonzor X pirate ship parts. Be aware that if you unlock the LoC then it will stay unlocked even if you go to NG+, but your clear progress of X-dimension maps will be reset in the process, so decide if you want to get into NG+ now while your clear progress is still minimal or beat them again later. All the maps up to and including 5-4 total 25, which is why I recommended that you waited until at least that point before trying to find the Scalper to purchase tickets from.
For solving the trickier X-dimension maps you can refer to this guide[www.neoseeker.com] to help you with them if you’re stuck. For the six ship parts, they are obtained as follows:
- Body – beat the Meowkin pirates in the Item World (most commonly found floor 91+, being on the treasure path can help)
- Head – Discipline a high level Professor (Best found on xfinal-1)
- Legs – Discipline a high level Baciel (Best found on 9-4)
- L arm – Discipline a high level Death (Best found on x7-3)
- R arm – Discipline a high level Prinny (Best found on x7-6)
- Wings – Discipline a high level Warrior or Magic Knight (Best found on xfinal-1)
If you’ve unlocked the LoC, it’s advisable to level up your characters a bit more but don’t invest too much time into it until you’ve completed the step after this one.
Creating and duping your first real item
Keep this up, try to always pick up and gain a minimum of two level spheres per 10 floors from this point forwards. On floor 60 it’s impossible to encounter the Exclusive if you kept it up and got him all five times previously, so proceed as normal. Once you’ve passed a 6th bill on the 70th floor no more can be passed for this item, so keep proceeding while making sure to get as many level spheres as possible. Exit out on floor 99.
It is a good time to go and do reverse pirating for this item and capture both level spheres on all four available reverse pirating missions and make sure the item will reach level 300 thanks to you collecting enough level spheres up to this point. If you have access to the LoC and haven’t been levelling up the item there so far, you may want to use it for reaching floor 100 as the Item God 2 in the LoC will have a legendary copy of your item or one of one rank higher, depending on the item you’re levelling up. After killing the Item God and optionally stealing his item, use a Mr. Gency Exit to leave, DO NOT WALK THROUGH THE GATE YET!
From this point onwards you may as well go back to the regular world instead of the LoC as there’s no benefit to staying there for this next part. Enter the item again, kill the Item God, use a Gency to exit the item and NOT through the gate. Repeat this over and over and over again until you finally run out of your stockpile of every Mr. Gency Exit you had. Once you have completely run out of them, only then should you exit through the gate after killing the Item god once more. Do the last reverse pirating opportunity for the 100th floor and kill the Item God one final time for a last stat boost, then remove all you innocents from the item.
Now you have your base item for duping, it’s going to have to carry you until your true final items are finished. The more Gency Exits you stockpiled and used on it, the easier of a time you will have for the rest of this guide.
Take your shiny new Exodus and fill it up with all of your best innocents – your Statistician, your Manager, your Broker your Pugilist, your Guardian and whatever important weapon specialists you have. To dupe it, equip it to your Battle Suit character with no other items and equip your Puppy Paw Stick to your strongest character. Enter the tutorial mission or any stage you like and have your Battle Suit act first with the move Run Wild, then have your PPS user kill your Battle Suit. There is an approximately 25% chance (estimated) that killing the Battle Suit will give you their held item, but you will still have the original item equipped to the Battle suit.
Combine innocents and dupe the new, stronger innocents repeatedly, using the duped Exoduses to strengthen your characters as you go. You want to repeat this until you have at least:
- Three Exodus full of Lv300 Statisticians.
- Three Exodus full of Lv300 Managers.
- Three Exodus full of Lv300 Brokers.
- At least one Lv500 Guardian for every character you care about.
- As many Lv19998 Pugilists as you can get, to fill up all the empty space on your important character’s items.
- Any Lv500 weapon specialists you would like.
- *OPTIONAL* Lv19998 Nerds (SP + Int same method as Pugilists), for your magic casters.
- *OPTIONAL* Lv19998 Musclemen (HP + Atk same method as Pugilists), for later on.
Give any character you care about three Exodus – one Guardian innocent, fill the rest of the space with Pugilists or whatever advanced stat innocent you like with a weapon specialist on the appropriate weapon type.
You should now have a party of characters with stats in the millions and a movement speed in the low twenties each, which is a good start and will help you immensely for the next stage. Equip your characters with the Statistician and/or the Manager Exoduses while levelling them up at the Trial of Ordeals 4 stage in the LoC in order to hit Lv9999 or maximum mana in one go.
Now is a great time to enter NG+ to unlock the Android class and optionally perform the trick mentioned in the previous part for easy unlocking of ship parts and slayer weapons if you haven’t done so yet, since you can effectively speedrun all of it and you should still only be losing minimal progress. Don’t forget to “kill god” (Save first, then beat the last few story missions with a Lv1000+ Valvatorez only) for the achievement and then reload.
Deciding who to perfect, the Chara World grind begins
For deciding on a character, since anybody is always going to easily hit the stat caps for every stat other than HP and SP and they can get any non-innate skill or evility, the main desirable thing that will help any stand out is their innate evility letting them break the normal damage limits, or some other desirable trait. Keep in mind that your normal weapon attack types cannot be upgraded beyond an attack range of 9, which makes bows and especially guns noticeably less desirable, as even swords can hit the max attack range. Here is a non-exhaustive list of some good candidates:
Adell – “Increase damage dealt by 30% when targeting a single unit.”
Krichevskoy – “Increase damage dealt with skills by 50%.”
Tyrant Valvatorez – “Increase stats of equipped weapon by 50%.” allowing for much higher natural HP and SP than others.
Nisa – “Increase stats by 1% for every 10 hours of play in the save file.” Same as above.
Fu’ka – “Decrease damage taken from skills by 50%.”
Emizel – “Increase magical damage dealt by 50% when targeting a single unit.”
Any generic class with a “Add 10% to the Base Power of ______ used per panel moved this turn.” style of evility like the Valkyrie and Mystic Beast.
Succubus, Death or Winged Warrior. All of them have innate flying and are Monster type units so they can equip two extra evilities, allowing them to equip Enlarge (+1 spell range) and Law By Range (Increase Spell range by 2, but increase all SP costs by 50%.), as well as equip a Monster (Magical) weapon and sit them adjacent to Rozalin in the Cam-pain HQ for an extra magic range allowing them to hit enemies with powerful magic attacks at a staggering 11 range, making them powerful artillery cannons for all your needs. The Winged Warrior has perhaps the strongest initial evility of the trio but it’s not a big difference.
Whoever or whatever your favourite character is. If you’re going to spend all of this time perfecting them, the absolute most important thing is that you like them, after all.
The first order of business you’re going to want to do is make two utility Masked Heroes, both with Fist type weapons and both with the Evility “Chicken Heart” for extra movement. Combined with three Exodus each they will be able to run through tight, cramped levels flying over all obstacles and knock the gatekeeper out of the way so you can get through.
Next you will want to unlock the characters Overlord Priere and Asagi. Have Asagi learn the Evility “Sky High” and then have Priere learn it from her through the Chara World, ideally along with Saintly Aggression. Give Priere your best Monster weapon and three more Exodus, she can now run through most Chara and Item World levels fairly unopposed, beat the gatekeeper in one normal attack and immediately move through the gate in the same turn.
Now it’s time to begin working on your chosen character’s stats. Appoint them as the Netherworld President in your Cabinet for the “All stats way up” and set up their positioning and groups for other characters you want to learn skills and evilities from, it’s time to grind the Chara World.
Go to the Land of Carnage if you’re not already there and reincarnate your character as a Lv1 Genius, if they’re a generic class then reincarnate as another class you’d like to grab skills from – for example if you want the Peta magic spells then reincarnate as a Witch or something similar as appropriate. Quickly get their level up past 81 but not too high, if their level is much lower than your Priere and Masked Heroes you will have an easier time.
Dive into the Chara World and start rushing through to floor 9, unless you want one of the legendary weapon skills along the way then aim to get those. Make sure to keep a close eye out for every R39 weapon / accessory in legendary quality as this is by far the easiest time you’ll have to find them. The first skill you will always want to have them learn is Big Bang.
Rush through to floor 9, go in the mystery gate and upgrade something, then go to floor 10 to kill the president and exit. Detours in order to get extra heart conservatives and things like that are a waste of time compared to simply rushing through every floor in seconds. After doing the Chara World six times, give them two Exodus of Statisticians and one of Managers and do Trial of Ordeals to get them to Lv9999. Spend all the mana you don’t need on levelling up their skills as you like and have then reincarnate as a genius again with the remainder, repeating the process of learning more skills and levelling up then reincarnating after every six visits. Once you’ve had them learn all their desired skills then just start reincarnating as their main class if they are a generic.
Keep repeating this. You don’t strictly NEED to get all of their aptitude values beyond 200% or so, or all of their Jump and Critical values to be maxed out, but HP and SP are worth getting to 300% and it looks better if all values do reach 300%, etc. It’s worth knowing that once a stat hits 300%, any gains it would have gotten go to other stats instead, making it fairly easy to boost the value of that one last value which was lagging behind the others once they’re all done.
Once you have your character’s aptitudes at the values you want and all the skills etc you’d like them to have, reincarnate them and level them up repeatedly until they’ve reach over 200,000 “Total Lv” if they’re not there already, put all of the bonus points into HP and the remainder into SP and level them back to Lv9999, reincarnate them one more time and so the same again. They are done for now, until you get your hands on an item with the Secret Trainer innocent which is unlikely right now. If you have one, have the item equipped to them while you’re doing the last levelling up.
Baal and the perfect Invincible Armour
- Unlock the fight with Baal and beat him once. Don’t forget to steal his items.
- Place the Rosen Queen evil symbol in your Cam-pain HQ if you haven’t done so already.
- Get Artina the skill Big Bang and give her 3 Exodus filled with Lv 300 Brokers.
The requirements to unlock Baal are to beat all the Post Game stages once each, have all the Post Game characters including Prinny Kurtis, and get all the New Party! characters including Petta.
You don’t need to do Netherbattle, Time Leap, Fu’ka & Desco Show, or Flashback.
In order to beat Baal it is advisable to first unlock the item “Victory Daruma” by beating 80% of all X-dimension stages. Keep in mind that you can and should save before getting the reward and keep resetting until you’re given a rarity 0 one. Once you have one, fill it with Pugilists and dupe it until you have as many as ten of them. Equip one to each character you will be using against Baal for the duration of the fight, including at least two high level Thieves.
In the fight against Baal, make sure to steal his equipment. The Crowbar is worth resetting for until it is rarity 0 and levelled up for Priere, make absolutely sure you steal the Ultimate Barrier as you will need it soon, feel free to retry until the Arcadia is Legendary quality if you like and the Makai Wars is optional. Keep in mind you won’t be able to come back and steal these in a rematch until you’re much, much stronger so make sure to get everything you want the first time. You will get the best sword weapon in the game after the fight, don’t lose it.
At the Rosen Queen shop after beating Baal for the first time, they will now sell Mr. Gencys for 1 trillion HL each and have a stock of 10 every time you open the shop.
Set the HL gain to 1000% at the cheat shop, set stronger enemies to Lv 20, equip Artina with the three Exodus that have 23 Brokers and one Guardian, then go to Trial of Ordeals 4 in the Land of Carnage and kill all the enemies with one Big Bang attack after magichanging your fused Neko into her. This will instantly give you the money cap of 10 trillion HL and let you buy 10 Gencys for one minute’s work.
It’s time for the most important part of this whole guide: the Invincible Armour. If you haven’t done so already, go into the item world for the Ultimate Barrier you stole from Baal and rush to floor 99, Gency out and save the game. Go to the LoC, enter the item and check floor 100. If the Item God is holding a rarity 0 Invincible Armour, perfect, go and steal it and then exit the item either by using another Gency or stepping in the portal.
First thing’s first: deciding what unique innocents you want. These are TECHNICALLY optional as it is a lot of work, but I’d highly recommend doing it as the final result is much better. If skipping then ignore the rest of this entire section and level it up like you did with the Exodus, otherwise if you want them then read on.
You can only have one unique innocent per piece of equipment and they don’t stack, so you should pick your favourite set of four and aim for those.
The best ones are:
– Mode Changer (Phys immunity odd turns, Magic immunity even turns)
– Motivator (-40% magic damage taken)
– Hand Shaker (Attacks never miss, even with evasion)
– Sweet Tempter (50% HP heal at the end of every turn)
– Kinder Gardener (-25% all damage taken)
– Wuss (-40% phys damage taken.
I recommend and personally went with the first four, but you can do what you like. Here are some desirable utility unique innocents which you don’t want to use for your main equipment, but are still good to keep around:
– Rubber (Normal attacks trigger twice, perfect for Priere)
– Cat Burglar (Can steal items on kill, same as Puppy Paw Stick)
– Secret Trainer (Increased stat gain when Levelling up)
Start by removing any unsubdued innocents from the Invincible Armour using an Enforcer innocent. Add in one each for HP, SP, ATK, INT, HIT, SPD, don’t bother with DEF or RES as they won’t need help. Dupe the item once for safety if you’re worried that you will mess this next part up.
Enter the Item World and proceed carefully, go through the gate for the INNOCENT path instead of the typical item path route on floor 5. When you get to floor 10 and find the general, kill him and use a Mr. Gency to exit the level without proceeding any further. Save your game. You now need to enter the item, kill the general, then Gency out again immediately and stop to buy 10 new Gencys after every 10 trips killing the general. Repeat this until all the stats on the Invincible Armour won’t go up any higher which should be when they all hit a base of 160,007 which should take around 650 kills of the general. Exit and save again, then enter and go through the INNOCENT gate a second time once all the kills are done and reset if you don’t get the Exclusive, pass the bill for +1 movement range once you get it.
That’s one of two hard parts done. Remove all the stat innocents from the item as you won’t need them any more and use an Enforcer to put three or more unsubdued “Mystery Innocent”s onto the armour instead, their level doesn’t matter. Once you’ve done this and you’re sure everything’s right, go and dupe it until you have 10 separate copies of it.
Go into the Item World with one of them starting from floor 11 – if it’s not floor 11 you’ve messed up. Proceed through the item for a few floors hunting for innocents until floor 15 and pop your head in every Mystery Gate in order to refresh the floor for another chance for one to spawn, if there’s no gatekeepers and progress is very fast then keep going using the ITEM path only as far as floor 19 and quit to the menu if no innocents spawn or none of them are the right ones.
Keep repeating this process of entering for a few floors and killing the innocents until you get one of the nine unique innocents I mentioned previously, if you kill them on an Innocent geo panel it will hide the name of the spawned innocent so don’t do that, and an easy way to tell if one is wrong is if you get the “Due to the route the innocent has levelled up!” message then it’s not a unique as their max level is 1. Once this happens Gency out and remove any remaining Mystery Innocents, swap to one of your other armours and save before continuing the process. You need to repeat this process until you’ve gotten one armour each with the four main innocents, you can continue until you have all nine types if you like but only the four main ones really matter.
That’s the hardest part by far done, now when you do your weapons you can aim to get any of the four important innocents for it instead of a specific one, making your odds 1 in 6.5 instead of 1 in 26 for each weapon. For your four armours with the important innocents on them (or Rubber), start proceeding through the item normally, make ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN that you only go through the ITEM gates from this point onwards and that on exactly floors 10, 20, 30, 50, 70 and 90 you pass the needed bills which for the Armour are movement bills, while killing the first Item King twice. The only other thing you need to get is the item to Level 300, reaching floor 100 doesn’t matter, you can do this by making sure you collect at least three Level Spheres every ten floors from floor 41 onwards and gaining 100 Levels from capturing both spheres while Reverse Pirating.
Weapons, and cleaning up loose ends
Fill your new armours with innocents, here are the main ones you want:
- One Coffee Maker, Medicine Man, Pharmacist, Psychologist, Social Worker at Lv 100.
- One Witch Doctor (or all 5 ailment inflicting innocents) at Lv 100
- One Firefighter, Aeronaut, Cryophile at Lv 100.
- One Guardian at Lv 500.
- One Professional at Lv 100
- Fill the remaining space with Musclemen at Lv 19998
Do this for your most important three armours. Once filled, dupe those three armour for as many characters as you want to power up.
Now it’s time for the weapons. Keep in mind that the hard cap for movement is 31 which is always hittable with just your Invincible Armours, plus the base movement of an unbuffed ultimate weapon and +2 from the Chara World, even if they only started with a move of 3. Also keep in mind that hard cap for the normal range of any weapon is 9 and Monster weapons cannot have their range buffed, so once a weapon hits 9 range when equipped you will want to switch to buffing HP, if you even want to buff the range. Go ahead and get a rarity 0 copy of the weapon you’re most interested in with any innocents removed.
Fist: Master Fist – (6x range bills)
Sword: Great Baal Horn – (5x range bills 1x HP bill)
Spear: Satan’s Edge – (6x range bills)
Bow: Sleipnir – (3x range bills, 3x HP bills)
Gun: Amalgam Flame – (1x range bill, 5x HP bills)
Axe: Zillions Buster – (6x range bills)
Staff: Three Senses – (6x HP bills)
Monster (Physical): Baal Stone – (6x HP bills)
Monster (Magical): Demon Law: Digital – (6x HP bills)
Note for Monster weapons: Because we are completely maxing out their stats, the Magical Monster weapons are better than the Physical ones 100% of the time as they have some range for their normal attack by default unlike the Physical ones and give +1 magic cast range with no downsides.
With your new weapon, repeat the same process as for the Invincible Armour with the following differences:
- You do not need to grind the Item General on floor ten 650 times, you can wait until the Item God on floor 100 and grind him so the process goes 3x faster.
- Use innocents for the weapon’s lowest stats.
- You only need one backup copy for safety.
- You do not need to get every unique innocent, once you get any of the four main important unique innocents, you’re done.
- Instead of passing movement bills, pass the bills listed next to each weapon type above.
Once you get one of the four uniques and finish creating the weapon, put a Lv 500 weapon specialist innocent on the weapon along with 6x Lv 19998 Musclemen, then dupe the weapon a few times for any characters who want to use it and the three armours with the other unique innocents of the type not on the weapon in order to complete the set of four uniques so you have all four at once.
Repeat this process with any other weapons you need.
This section is extremely, extremely optional, I cannot overstate this. I’m mostly mentioning that this exists, how it all works, and how you can get the most out of it if you truly want to do 120% of everything you could ever possibly try.
Any medicines (Tonics, Salves, Serums, etc) when used on a Lv 9999 character will buff their maximum HP by 11.76x and SP by 2.94x of the stat total on the medicine item and these stats will be completely lost if the character is ever reincarnated again, so make absolutely certain they will never ever need to be reincarnated again before doing this.
It makes no difference at all if it’s stats gained by levelling up the item in the Item World or if they’re from duped innocents, and nothing else makes a difference like the quality of the medicine. Other stats are presumably gained at the same rate as SP and lower level characters get a lower multiplier for the stats gained, but these are irrelevant as you should only want to do this with Lv 9999 characters who will have all stats other than HP and SP maxed anyway.
I would incredibly strongly advise that if you DO do this, do it only with duped innocents. It is pretty much 10x slower raising the medicine in the Item World to gain millions of stats than it is to simply dupe Lv 19998 stat specialists to fill random medicines with, the Ranking Shop sells legendary quality medicines of your choice with room for six specialists for only 100 points each if you need more. There is no hard cap for HP and SP on a character even if you go to the billions, do this as much or as little as you like. The sky’s the limit as they say.
Afterword
Speaking of that, if you like I’ve uploaded my Battle Suit to the Netherbattle Tournament with three pieces of armour and a sword all raised to the standards as laid out by this guide. If you bring a character with the Cat Burglar unique innocent either from a Puppy Paw Stick or an armour with it, you might be able to dupe them with his help in the same way you normally dupe items. If there’s one last unique innocent you’re missing or something, this could be an option for you to do.
If you see any typos, mistakes, inconsistencies like missing words or that I’ve simply not followed my own grammatical rules and I’ve done things differently in one part of the guide compared to another, please let me know so that I can fix it.
