Welcome to our guide for Delivery INC, where we provide detailed information on all 100% achievements in the game. This guide will be useful for players who are looking to complete all achievements and unlock special rewards.
Introduction
There are some Campaign related achievements that are missable, but you can reload the day and try them again.
There are two mutually exclusive achievements in Moscow Campaign, but thankfully both of them are unlocked on Day 5, so manual save before the day or using a Quick Load after completing the day will get you both cheevos relatively quick.
There is one presumably bugged achievement (or it has incorrect description), so unlocking it involves a bit of random guessing, at least for the time of writing this guide.
Please note that you will need to purchase Large Cargo DLC to be able to 100% the game.

Common Achievements
Delivery Trainee
Complete the tutorial
When you select a city to play, tick the Enable Tutorial checkbox to the right of YOUR MAPS header. This will enable a learning mission before the actual Campaign or Free Play starts.
Delivery Queue
Use the multi-route feature in Campaign or Free Play
Multi-route allows to plan several stops for the vehicle and can be very useful if you want a single vehicle to pick several orders on its own. For me personally this achievement unlocked with a significant delay, not sure why. My best guess is that maybe it has to be strictly 3+ stops multi-route and 2-stop multi-routes don’t count.
Note: Planning 10 multi-stop routes is actually one of the goals in the Paris campaign.
Pimp Your Ride
Equip the max amount of upgrades for a vehicle
Each vehicle has a different number of upgrade slots. There are very few upgrades available from the start of the game, so you’ll need to play the Campaign mode and complete goals in different cities first. If you absolutely must have this achievement ASAP – purchase a bicycle, it has only one upgrade slot and Gear Switch upgrade is available from the start.
Marketing Manager
Complete a day with one or more active company advertisements
Check the Advertisement tab in the day start menu. There are two major options available, Job Offer spawns more drivers in the list next day, Promote makes more orders pop on the map during the upcoming day.
To be completely honest, I’m not 100% sure how these work. Promote seem to be quite straightforward – the more slots you fill with this ad and more expensive option you choose, more orders pop on the map, which, in turn, increase your total profits. But most importantly – these ads really help complete some of the grindier goals during Campaigns.
Job Offer on the other hand, appears to be some kind of casino – I can’t tell exactly which trait is supposed to be “Kind to others”, “Clean driving record” and others. But even if the description is plain simple, for example, “Comfortable lifting heavy objects” which definitely means Strong trait, you can get 0 drivers with this trait out of 5 spawned even with decent salary.
All ads stack, so if you put 5 TV Commercials, 900$ each per day, you’ll want to have a really big fleet to be able to cope with all the orders.
Position Filled
Hire a driver that was spawned from a driver advertisement
Drivers spawned by the advertisement are always located at the bottom of the Job Applicants list in the day start menu and have the exact salary that you offered.
Color Coordination
Change the color of a vehicle
Click the Upgrade button near any car in the day start menu. Then click the pencil icon, change the color and press the confirmation checkmark. Colors could be very useful to quickly recognize the car upgrades. For example, I personally use red color for the vehicles with Heated Seats upgrade, cyan color for the vehicles with Refrigerated Trunk upgrade and Purple for Luxury vehicles.
Mechanic
Repair five or more vehicle faults in a single day
Probably the easiest way to unlock this achievement would be after Day 4 of the New York Campaign. Provided that you didn’t pay 10.000$ to ♥♥♥♥ and have at least 5 Taxi Cabs in your fleet, all cabs will get a fault the next day (expired medallions). Also, Paris campaign active restriction makes your vehicles get faults every single day.
Get to the choppa!
Purchase a helicopter from the shop (lease & loan agreements do not count)
Helicopters cost up to several hundred thousand dollars, but you can stumble upon a broken one, which can be significantly cheaper. Keep in mind that If you don’t really want to spend money, you can purchase the helicopter, get the achievement and restart the day to get your hard-earned cash back.
Note: I personally was very lucky and got the cheevo during the Tokyo Campaign where you have a starting budget of 125.000$. Vehicle pool is generated randomly, so a broken helicopter spawned that cost 120.000$ to purchase.
Painful Achievements
Max Level
Upgrade an employee to the max level
I absolutely despise such no-brain tedious grind achievements, very much akin to “Kill 10000000 enemies” or “Hit your head against the invisible wall 10000000000 times”, while a normal and somewhat thorough playthrough will end with something like 100 enemy kills and 1000 head bangs.
The maximum level for the driver in the game is 25. And just so you know, I was playing the Free Game for roughly 40 (!) days and only A COUPLE of my drivers got to level 10!!
According to my observations, the experience points are most likely tied to the monetary compensation for the completed order, maybe even in 1 to 1 proportion, meaning that receiving 1.200$ for the order will equal 1.200 experience points to the driver who completed it. If the driver is assisting with Large Cargo or if the delivery was split between two drives, I believe that experience is shared in some way. There are no numbers in the game to prove any of this, this is all just my guessing based on the visual comparison I made:
Here I hired a fresh high-level driver, played one same day till the end 4 times and compared the driver’s XP bars:
– At first I did 28 random deliveries
– Then I made 20 random deliveries
– Then I went specifically for Ride (passengers) deliveries and made 20 of those
– And finally I made 17 Ride deliveries but was aiming at high cost requests only like the ones with Luxury requirement, Heated seats, plenty of people at once and long distance route.
As you can see, the XP bar filled the most when I earned the most money per day, even if the number of deliveries was quite modest. Therefore, my personal tactic to get this awful achievement as fast as possible was the following:
– Unlock both Free Game achievements first and make a manual save; continue playing in Free Game.
– Acquire a helicopter named just Helicopter, with 5 seats for passengers / packages if you haven’t already.
– Hire a level 20 Driver (use the most expensive Job Offer ad with 9 options to choose from – these spawn level 20 applicants). Look for the ones with D license, obviously, but also look for Risky / Polite positive traits (extra cash) and Reckless negative trait (extra speed, police don’t react to Helicopters). Risky trait is a must in my opinion as the cash bonus it provides is quite substantial in the long run.
– Make necessary adjustments to reduce the daily payments as much as possible (fire all other drivers, remove all ads, etc.).
– Your active fleet should have the Helicopter with Tune-Up and Heated Seats upgrades, and something around 5-6 random vehicles (the number of order pop-ups on the map appears to depend on the size of active fleet, so having a single Helicopter will result in a very few orders to choose from during the day).
– Start the day, open the smartphone and make sure that only Rides are ticked (everything else is way behind in cash rewards), so that you won’t receive any Food, Packages or Large Cargo orders. Also, make sure the Maximum Distance is set to long – these pay the most.
– Begin the grind… For the next 20 to 30 days, only use this Helicopter with the level 20 driver and try only picking the most expensive orders (depending on your progression, these should probably be at least 1.500$ per order). I haven’t found any cheats, file tweaks or tricks to ease this tedium.
The Avengers
Have 16 or more employees at max level
Now, imagine doing all of the above, but for 16 (!!!) different drivers. Jesus Christ, the moment I realized how much grind it is, I thought there will be another 99% game in my list.
Fortunately, this achievement appears to be bugged or broken in some way. You can see this just by checking the global stats: as of the time of writing of this guide, only 0.9% of players have The Avengers achievement while only 0.2% of players have Max Level achievement, which is plain impossible, because you clearly level up one driver to max level before leveling more than that.
So either the achievement description is wrong or there is some problem with the game code. The best educated guess I could come up with, is that maybe the unlock happens when you level up the driver for the 400th time (25 levels for 16 drivers is a total of 400 levels). At least I personally unlocked this achievement after completing all Campaigns twice and was playing my first Free Mode for roughly 45 days, which means quite a lot of level ups were made. Then, on a random day, one of my level 7 drivers got enough experience points and the moment I upgraded him to level 8, the achievement popped (to a huuuge relief).
Campaign Achievements
Standard Delivery
Earn 3 stars or more in six campaign cities
Express Delivery
Earn 4 stars or more in six campaign cities
Same Day Delivery
Earn 5 stars in six campaign cities
Stars in this context mean Campaign goals, 5 in each city. Please refer to each corresponding city section of the guide for the tips. But here are some of my personal recommendations that can be applied universally:
1. Use pause and divert orders if things are starting to spire out of control. Diverting has zero penalties.
2. If you are really struggling, switch to Easy difficulty. Every single achievement in the game can be unlocked by playing on Easy and waiting times here are so long that you can start the game, go have dinner, get back and still complete the order with 5 stars.
3. Campaigns last for only 5 days (10 for Stockholm), so lease and loan as much as the bank allows you, do not waste money on purchasing vehicles for a full price.
IMPORTANT! Campaign goals are not cumulative, therefore you need to complete all 5 goals during a single playthrough. Completing 2 goals in one playthrough and then completing 3 remaining goals in the second playthrough will not count!
Rush Delivery
Earn 5 platinum stars in a campaign city
Here is the developer quote from Steam forums:
You need to finish all 5 goals of campaign while achieving a clean 5 star review average rating.
Which means that every single delivery you make throughout every single day of the Campaign must have 5 stars (I ended with a rating of 4,99 once, such a pain). I personally got mine platinum stars in the Paris Campaign playing on Easy difficulty. Divert orders if necessary and make absolutely sure that your rating is strictly 5 stars before the day ends (you can see it in the upper right section of the UI, under Today’s Reviews). If you got even one 4 star review – restart the day and try again.
New York Campaign
- Money doesn’t really matter, so getting 7+ cars shouldn’t be a problem. Lease Taxi Cabs and try to get at least 1-2 Luxury cars if possible.
- For completing a day without ignoring any deals, I’d recommend Day 1: just take every single order, even if it will hurt your reputation a bit. Diverting orders equals “ignoring” them, so avoid diverting when trying for this specific goal.
- If you are struggling with total Ride deals, put some extra Promote ads into Ride only. Also, Day 5 can net you 40+ Rides alone.
- For total high rating be careful on Day 5, as there will be dozens of undivertable passenger rides and if your fleet is not big enough, bad reviews can hit you really quick.
- Ask for another Taxi Cab when prompted, any extra vehicle is the best choice in almost every single occasion throughout any Campaign.
- Low Tire Pressure situation. I believe this one is scripted for this particular Campaign and Day, but can happen randomly in other Campaigns or a Free Mode game. Pull over is probably the best option: “Put handbrake”, “Emergency lights”, “Watch YouTube”. This will only cost some time to spend. Calling a mechanic will cost slightly more time and some money on top of that. “Keep driving” option will eventually cost a lot of money: you’ll have to call and pay for a mechanic anyway, but also, your car will receive significant damage.
- Accident situation. This one is also scripted for the NY Campaign most likely, but can happen randomly afterwards. Start with “Get out of vehicle and make sure everyone is okay”, then you can either negotiate the minor damage or agree to wait for the police. Driving away technically means committing a crime, so if this vehicle is seen by police, it will get impounded and its driver will end up in jail (even if the driver has Stealthy trait).
- ♥♥♥♥’s Flyers. The name will probably get censored on Steam, but you know who this Dickety ♥♥♥♥ is. Tearing down ♥♥♥♥’s flyers or distributing your own company flyers are two sides of the same coin: you will need to dedicate a vehicle to travel around the city either tearing or distributing, that’s all. Ignoring is not recommended as you will receive a Bad Ride Handler negative company trait (decrease Ride payments by 25%) for the rest of the Campaign.
- Lost keys situation. Just as with Low Tire Pressure and Accident, I think this is scripted for NY and will happen randomly afterwards. Sending another driver to bring the spare keys is probably the best option as it will only cost some time. Calling a locksmith will cost 150$.
- You can send Mr. Adams to talk to ♥♥♥♥. Afterwards, you can pay ♥♥♥♥ 10.000$ he demands and he will leave you alone for the day. However, this option is probably not really worth it. If you don’t pay, ♥♥♥♥ will meddle with your Taxi Cabs (make medallions expired) and you will have to pay a fine every time a Taxi Cab is seen by a police car. But all these fines combined during the day should cost only around 2.000$. You will also need to spend ~270$ per Taxi Cab after the day ends to fix the medallions. So after adding another 1.500$ or even 2.000$ to the bill, your total expenses will still be twice less than 10.000$. But more importantly, it will feel much better than giving hard earned cash to that ♥♥♥♥! The only disadvantage is that if a police car stops your Taxi Cab with passengers inside, the rating for this Ride will suffer a bit.
- Alternatively, you can ask Mr. Adams for help in three different ways: money (2.500$ in exchange for driving him around the city), another car (probably random; once he offered me a Van and another time a Limo), or remove 2 out of 5 police cars from the map.
- Telling Mr. Adams that you are doing great will leave you with nothing, so the best option is probably to ask for another car, even if it’s random.
New Yorker
Get revenge in the New York campaign
- This is a somewhat missable achievement, so make sure to ask Mr. Adams to help you get revenge on ♥♥♥♥ when prompted at the beginning of the day. This request will make the mission slightly harder, because even more orders will begin to pop-up, so make sure you have a vast fleet of cars. Thirst for revenge will also increase the minimum number of Rides to be completed from 20 to 30. You can’t divert mission related Rides, but divert every single non-mission order if necessary, it’s the last day of the Campaign after all. Achievement should unlock after the successful completion of the mission.
London Campaign
- Advertising for Food orders is highly recommended to hit the 150 Food deliveries mark. Be careful with Seat Heating and Refrigerated Trunk upgrades. It feels like a reduced rating is practically guaranteed if you deliver the Food in a vehicle with the opposite temperature upgrade installed.
- Chef Damian will offer to assist in three different ways:
- Excellent driver (not sure whether the stats will be random, I got level 5 driver with four nice positive traits and zero negative ones)
- Van
- Specials – one (random?) car gets a Food Insulator upgrade (Gain a time bonus on food deliveries).
- Extra vehicle would probably be the best choice overall.
- Nothing special to mention here. You will probably get some situations like malfunctioning GPS or car running out of gas, but they didn’t repeat during my two separate playthroughs, so I think these are random.
Londoner
Successfully launch the ghost kitchen in the London campaign
- Don’t think this achievement is actually missable, since you need to launch the kitchen in order to complete the day and the Campaign in any case. Simply deliver at least 20 mission Food orders before the day ends.
Paris Campaign
- The very first goal can be completed like this: select any car, hold Shift and click on 11 random spots on the map, gg. The first click doesn’t count as a multi-route, so it’s 10+1.
- Money could be a serious problem in this Campaign because of constant repairs required for every active car every day.
- To complete “Start a day with 15 vehicle upgrades” I personally ended up stacking bicycles in addition to my main fleet; these are dirt cheap, can be used by a driver without any licenses, and allow one cheap upgrade.
- Repairing enough vehicle faults should come natural for the same reasons – all vehicles will have faults every single day.
- It appears that there are three major outcomes that can be reached in different ways when speaking to Mr. Bach at the start of the day:
- 10.000$
- Moped
- Food Insulator upgrade (Gain a time bonus on food deliveries).
- This time, I’d totally go for money, not the vehicle, since Mopeds are kinda bad, and you can get way more goodies for that much cash. One way to get the money is to choose “Purchasing a taxi license set me back”, then “Got any spare equipment?”.
- Strike situation. This might be scripted for Paris Campaign as it happened during both my playthroughs at almost the same time of the day. You can either wait to spend some time or try slowly driving through the crowd; the latter will save you the waiting time, but leave the car dirty and slightly damaged.
- Nothing special to mention here; you will probably get a random situation or two.
- I believe tie for the first place with your competitor is scripted no matter what, just as the positive company trait you receive for the remainder of the Campaign (increase Ride payments by 25%).
- Breaks failure situation. Here are the best choices in my opinion: “Few deep breaths to calm down”, “Take foot off the gas”, “Turn on hazard lights”, “Slowly downshift to lower gears”. Failing to resolve the situation will result in significant car damage that would be a bit more expensive to fix than you would pay following the listed answer choices (mechanic will arrive to fix the brakes and charge 1.000$).
- Nothing special to mention here; you will probably get a random situation or two.
Gold Medalist
Win a gold medal in the Paris campaign
- This achievement is missable. Ignoring mission objective deliveries will not result in any penalties, but I think that delivering the bare minimum of Olympic Batons will not be enough to win a gold medal: in one of my playthroughs I delivered 29 batons out of 20 requested, but still placed second. Therefore, I’d totally recommend delivering as many Olympic Batons as you possibly can.
Moscow Campaign
- Most of the cars in Rush mode are faster than police cars, so if you are being chased, select the car, enable Rush mode and keep right-clicking away from the police. Eventually the police will just stop following you and won’t react even if you pass them again in a second.
- To complete “not get chased for 3 days”, I recommend using a designated car to deliver the drug packages. This way less drivers will be forced with Reckless negative trait and require babysitting. I personally used the same single vehicle on days 1-3 and three designated vehicles on day 5.
- Unhurried negative trait (Rushing can not be enabled) can be used to your advantage, these drivers won’t be able to Rush and thus attract police attention.
- To deliver 125 package deals, get as many Package only ads as you can handle. Remove the ads as soon as you hit the quota.
- Try to be respectful to Mr. Fring to get a free Van. The following answers should work (some others might too, but these will guarantee the vehicle): “It’s my pleasure to help”, “Hmm… okay”, “This isn’t normally how I do business”, “Why do you take 75% up front”. The joke about 75% of the Van is in you!
- Knock at the window situation. A homeless person will ask for food. If you reply “OK” immediately, you will lose 200$. If you reply “You can’t do that”, but then “OK”, you will lose 100$. Otherwise, the homeless person will come back with a gun and cause trouble: waiting time if you choose “Scream!” or both driver and car immediately unavailable with driver going on a Sick leave if you reply “Try to take the gun away”.
- The minimum number of drug packages to deliver is 5 (replying “Five is too many!” won’t reduce the quantity). Alternatively, you can ask for 8 packages (“Only five?”) or even 10 packages (“Only five?”, then “Make it ten”).
- No drug deliveries here. Any options you choose while talking to Mr. White won’t have any consequences, the “real choice” is made on the next day.
Reckless
Team up with the criminal in the Moscow campaign
Busted
Team up with the DEA in the Moscow campaign
- These are two mutually exclusive achievements. At the start of the day one of the drivers will report a GPS destination mix-up and ask whether the “orders” should be delivered to Mr. Fring (Reckless achievement) or to Mr. White (Busted achievement). Make your choice, complete the mission, get to the Main Menu, select Moscow campaign again and press Quick Load. This will load the start of Day 5 of the campaign, so that you can make another choice and get both achievements in a relatively quick succession.
Beijing Campaign
- For “complete a day with a fleet that has 12 or more traits” keep in mind that negative traits also count. Use excessive Job Offer ads if needed.
- “Accept an offer from a driver with prior experience”: look for drivers that have prior experience on their ID card (School Driver, Pizza Delivery, Convicted Felon, etc). The only problem with this goal is that prior experience missions are supposed to be triggered randomly in the game; there is a chance that one will begin at the start of each day. But I think that specifically for the Beijing campaign these are scripted to start on Day 4 provided you have at least one suitable driver.
- You can choose one, two or three different mission objectives to deliver at once. Completing each will provide a 25% cash bonus for the corresponding type of goods till the end of campaign: Ingredients – food deliveries, Spring Couplets – package deliveries, Red Envelopes – ride deliveries. Picking all three at once shouldn’t cause too much trouble, divert every single standard request if needed. You can also give a ride to Mei-Ling herself, but I haven’t noticed any advantages for completing the request (apart from 125$ for the ride) or any disadvantages for refusing the request.
- Just as with other Campaigns, I believe Package damaged situation is scripted to happen this day. You can ask to return, take a new package and cover the expenses, the driver will get the Careful positive trait afterwards. Issuing compensation right away is also OK. Various options after choosing “Did the product get damaged or just the package” made the driver go a bit crazy and issue threats, so I had to fire this driver.
- There are two major outcomes for the choices at the start of the day: either you deliver 7 or 14 firecrackers (if you speak confidently, “Of course I can help”, “Dangerous Cargo doesn’t scare me” – you will be asked to deliver 14 packages, otherwise just 7 of them) and either you get money or a Van as a compensation. Three options for the latter:
- Choosing 250$ per delivery will then lead to final choice between money or a Van
- Choosing “I’ll let you decide how much extra to pay” will result in a Van
- Choosing 500$ will result in cash only
- Leasing a single Van costs ~500$ (if the car has spawned in the available list of course), so delivering 14 firecrackers 500$ each (7.000$ in total) would probably be the best options, as it will allow to lease or loan more than just a single Van.
- Nothing special, but I think that a driver’s prior experience mission is scripted to spawn at this day allowing you to complete one of the Campaign goals.
Lunar New Year
Successfully deliver the Dragon Blaze fireworks in the Beijing campaign
- This is a missable achievement. There are two types of fireworks to choose to deliver: Dragon Blaze or Emerald Burst. The first are required for the achievement; there will be less of these to deliver, but they will completely destroy your car if damaged. Emerald Burst will require more deliveries, but speeding with them will result in car damage, rather than complete car destruction.
- Observation 1: as soon as the vehicle starts loading up the Fireworks, this process will continue until all empty vehicle slots are filled. From what I understand, the only way to “interrupt” the loading process is to send another vehicle – as soon as it arrives at the loading spot, the queue for the previous vehicle stops and this previous vehicle proceeds with the actual deliveries. This could be especially tricky and reduce the ratings if you operate Limos – these can take a dozen of packages, but are quite slow. Removing trunk upgrades to make queue times lower might also help.
- Observation 2: it appears that the drivers’ AI does not select the most optimal route between delivery points, so after the car finishes loading up the Fireworks, I recommend selecting this car and ordering the drop-off points manually using the route planner (Shift + right click).
Tokyo Campaign
- Cumulative profit shouldn’t be a problem as long as you enable Long distances in your smartphone and don’t skip GPS upgrades.
- As always with complete X Rides / Package / Food deliveries, make sure to place ads for these specific types.
- Just in case, for “spend money on company advertisements” only Promote type ads count, Job Offers for drivers do not.
Always On Time
Finish all days of the Tokyo campaign without any late or ignored deliveries
IMPORTANT! The only achievement in the Tokyo Campaign requires some effort in each of the five Campaign days. You cannot allow for a late delivery, nor can you divert an order. Every single order that pops on the map should be delivered and delivered on time. Therefore, I recommend two separate playthroughs: aim to complete all 5 Campaign goals during the first and focus on the Always on Time achievement during the second. But of course, you can try going for both the goals and the achievement if you are up for some serious challenge and plenty of day restarts.
As for the achievement itself – I definitely recommend playing on Easy difficulty as it allows the most time to complete the order. Buy as many vehicles as you can, avoid Promote ads to keep the number of orders relatively low and consider skipping GPS upgrades to keep the map size small. Random situations can be a pain in the back; use various “cash out” options (pay for the services to fix the issue) to save as much time as possible. If you happen to obtain a helicopter, note that Rush mode is disabled by default (the on/off button is simply not available). But with a bit of luck you can stumble upon a driver with a D license AND Reckless negative trait. Boy, the deliveries will be lightning fast; just don’t pick the fragile goods with this driver as the crates can still be damaged.
- A rather dumb situation right from the start: you begin the Campaign with a completely empty fleet and are at the mercy of a random set of vehicles and drivers. I mean, you can literally have only one driver with A license and 4 others with B/D or no licenses spawned. And even though you have a generous 125.000$ to spend, you can neither loan / lease a vehicle nor pay for other drivers on the same day. So, you might want to restart the Campaign a couple of times (the whole Campaign from the main menu, not the day, as the RNG stays the same on the day restart) to get a viable combination of vehicles and drivers. Vehicles called Car can be bought indefinitely.
- There are three major outcomes in Mrs. Koike dialogue:
- You can receive vehicle(s)
- You can receive money
- You can receive 1 helicopter + money
- The absolute best possible outcome is actually the following: you can receive 2 helicopters (one being damaged, though). But after 30 minutes of restarting and trying every single dialogue combination, I believe getting 2 helicopters might be either completely random or perhaps it is somehow connected to your initial choice of vehicles; similar as “Bank” will not allow you to get a loan or a lease, Mrs. Koike might think you won’t be able to pay for two helicopters. But at least trying to get two helicopters is definitely recommended.
- For 1 helicopter and 5.000$ cash, select the following: “It is my pleasure” and then “Tokyo’s deliveries are in good hands”. A mix of other replies will result either in one vehicle of your choice or 10.000$.
- Nothing special to mention here; you will probably get a random situation or two.
- From my experience, any choices you make in the dialogue with Mrs. Koike will have the same outcome from the technical point of view – you’ll simply need to make some deliveries to the workers, that’s it.
- Just as on Day 4, there are no real consequences for any dialogue options. Simply complete the Campaign by delivering mission-related orders.
Free Play Achievements
Min-Max Master
In Free Play mode, complete day 30 with a total of $500,000 or more in your bank account
Overachiever
In Free Play mode, complete day 30 with a 4.5 average rating or higher while six or more restrictions are enabled
Free Mode is rather enjoyable, at least for the first 20-30 days or so, when you actually need to manage things around to earn enough cash for a decent fleet. Once it’s done, though, it’s just a steamroll to infinity.
As for the achievements, there is no definitive trick to unlock either of them. I personally got them both simultaneously while playing on a Normal difficulty and using my own city map (which is a bay half-covered in water lol), so I presume any combination of difficulties and maps will work eventually.
However, I can still mention a thing or two that you might find useful:
- Make sure to finish all Campaigns and complete all 5 goals in each. This will unlock the much needed car upgrades and mandatory restrictions.
- There are a total of 7 restrictions available (6 base game + 1 DLC). I personally left out the one from Paris (Faulty Vehicles), as it can really hurt your starting days. But in the end, this is probably a matter of personal preference and all restrictions can be managed.
- If you don’t want more troubles than necessary, choose a simple-layered city with minimum or no water at all, and play on lower difficulties.
- Starting can be somewhat daunting, especially when looking at 500.000$ achievement, but after you hit 3rd GPS upgrade, orders should start paying really good money – making around 100.000$ per day is adequately realistic.
- When choosing GPS upgrades, keep in mind that you can upgrade both vertical and horizontal squares at the same time; choose one of the four diagonal squares to unlock the largest portion of the map.
- From my personal experience, nothing except passenger Rides is worth spending time on, these always pay the most money possible. So you might want to tune your fleet to passenger Rides only:
- In the early days, the best cars to look for are Taxi Cabs. They have Heated Seats, 6 free delivery slots (with Trunk upgrade) and are really fast (100 km/h with Tune-Up upgrade).
- High-end fleet should ideally be Helicopters + Luxury SUVs with Heated Seats (all) and Trunk upgrades (SUVs). These are the fastest and most capacious vehicles (Limos are too slow in my opinion, so they are not really worth investing into). By Helicopters I mean vehicles named just Helicopters with 5 seats, not Fast Helicopters or Small Helicopters.
- Ignore Challenges, in my opinion, they are very bad and provide laughable money compensations.
- Descriptions for getting the Hula Girl and Air Freshener upgrades are very confusing; my best guess is these are only available if you continue playing Campaign map in Free mode and complete enough Challenges. Completing challenges in just the Free Mode did not unlock either of the upgrades for me.
Large Cargo DLC Achievements
Light as a Feather
Complete a Large Cargo delivery with a vehicle that has a strong driver, strong assistant, and dolly upgrade
Strong driver means a driver with a Strong positive trait, so you’ll need two such drivers, respectively. Assistant does not require any driving license, just in case. Note that the Dolly upgrade unlocks only after you complete the Stockholm campaign with at least 2 goals (stars).
Winter Is Coming
Deliver 25 cold food deliveries with the refrigerated vehicle upgrade in a single day
This many deliveries is actually quite a lot, especially when the game decides to mock you and keep generating hot Food deliveries. So I recommend the following: pick a day during a Campaign or a Free Play, create 5 Promote ads for Food only, start the day and disable all order types except Food and choose Short distance as the maximum. This should allow accumulating as many orders as possible in the shortest time period.
Refrigerated Trunk upgrade is available only for the Large Cargo vehicle type, but you are not limited to using the same vehicle – those 25 orders could be completed by as many different vehicles as you have at your disposal.
Equipped for Cargo
Own one of each cargo vehicle (no lease or active loan) and complete a day with all of them in your fleet
There are a total of six Large Cargo vehicles available in the game:
- Cargo Bike
- Cargo Car
- Pick Up
- Cargo Van
- Box Truck
- Lorry
From my personal experience, Cargo Bike is probably something I saw the least number of times, so you might want to grab one the moment it appears.
Cargo King
Deliver 100 Large Cargo deliveries in a single day with HQ delivery distance set to “long”
Now, this is one I’m not entirely sure about, because 100 deliveries in a single day is A LOT, no matter what you actually deliver. So maybe, and this is just a wild guess, mind you, this achievement is also bugged in some way. I personally unlocked this achievement during the Stockholm Campaign (first playthrough). It was Day 9, right after the GPS upgrade; I had a decent fleet of vehicles, was sorting out everything as fast as I could, used 5 Promote ads for Large Cargo only, forbidden all other types of orders to pop up, and the achievement unlocked closer to the end of the day. But I somewhat doubt that 100 deliveries can be technically possible during one day, hence my thoughts about potential technical issues with the unlocking criteria.
Everything Everywhere All At Once
Pick up one of each delivery type in a single vehicle (Large Cargo, Ride, Food, Package) and then deliver them all with 5 star reviews
This one could be tricky and does require a bit of luck. I personally unlocked it like this: started a new Free Play map on Easy difficulty, picked a 2×2 playing area with as little water as possible. Purchased a Lorry (although a Van could also work just fine) and restarted the day a couple of times until 4 different orders popped up in a convenient succession.
Two things to note:
- Make sure not to hire an assistant, as they will take the only passenger seat in a vehicle. Unless, of course, you want to try your luck even further and complete this achievement with Pick Up; it has only 4 Large Cargo spaces, so waiting for a small order to pop will most likely take more time.
- The achievement seems to unlock only at the end of day, not immediately after you have completed all four successful deliveries! So if you are absolutely sure you weren’t late and got 5 stars for each, just wait till the day ends.
Stockholm Campaign
Stockholm Master
Earn 5 stars on the Stockholm Campaign on any difficulty
- Unlike the base game Campaigns, the Stockholm one lasts for 10 days, so you will have plenty of time and opportunities to complete all goals without much trouble.
- For 50 Food deliveries I’d probably recommend one of the later days (7-8) after you expand your map once or twice and have a bit of extra cash. Switch all Dolly upgrades to Refrigerated Trunks, Promote as much ads as you can handle for Food only and use your smartphone to forbid any orders except Food; should be adequately possible to complete the goal in a single day.
- One important thing to note about Large Vehicles is the drivers you hire as assistants: from my personal observations, assistants’ negative traits don’t seem to affect the deliveries at all, and at least some of their positive traits work alright. And just a reminder that their driver license does not need to match the vehicle, so even the driver without a license would help speed things up a bit (or speed things quite a lot if they have the Strong positive trait).
- You start with 3 vehicles and 6 drivers, and I believe these 6 drivers will always be 3 Strong + 3 Weak. From my experience, it would be better to fire the ones with Weak negative trait and either leave just a Strong driver per vehicle without any assistants, or hire suitable assistants if any are available. Weak negative trait will make things very slow in general and also decrease the ratings as clients will mention “people struggling with cargo”.
- The very first dialogue with Mr. Kampard has several major outcomes – you can end up with a Lorry, a Box Truck or without any extra vehicles. To get the Lorry, pick the following: “I really like it here!”, “I’m guessing you provide things”, “You leased vehicles without my permission?”, “You never know until you try”. I believe two remaining outcomes depend on the answer after Mr. Kampard says “Imagine trying to deliver a couch with a normal car”. If you reply “I could do it with a bicycle” he will offer a Box Truck, and if you reply “Yeah, that would be pretty difficult”, he will say that he was hoping for a more professional driver and you will get no extra vehicles.
- Nothing special to mention here; you will probably get a random situation or two. It felt like during the Stockholm campaign these happened rather often, even on days with Mr. Kamprad personal requests.
- Mr. Kampard will have some deliveries to make for Mr. Felix on this day.
- If you inquire “Who is this Utuber” and mention the controversy, you’ll have an option to either charge +250$ for every mission related delivery or make waiting times a bit more generous (at least this is what the dialogue implies).
- If you inquire “How many items need to be delivered”, you can either proceed with the planned 5 deliveries or ask for 2, 4 or 6 more deliveries to be planned on top of the minimum 5, making it up to 11 deliveries in total.
- Mr. Felix will also ask whether you can drive him across the city; if you agree, a Pick Up vehicle would be a perfect choice, but keep in mind that you will need to finish delivering all mission related orders first before driving Mr. Felix to his final destination.
- Something to note: if you agree to drive Mr. Felix around and everything goes smoothly, you’ll get 3 free Promote ads for the 4 next days. The problem is that I don’t really know what these ads promote exactly (it just says “brings more customers”, but which type?), nor can you remove them, so they sit there occupying three ad spaces out of five available and might overwhelm you if your fleet is not ready to deliver that many orders.
- Nothing special to mention here; you will probably get a random situation or two.
- Mr. Kampard will ask to help with meatball deliveries. Dialogue options don’t seem to influence anything significantly other than the amount of meatballs you’ll need to deliver: it will be either 10, 20 or 30. The option to deliver 30 becomes available after you choose to deliver just 1 meatball first. Meatballs is a hot Food, so watch those Refrigerated Trunk upgrades, they can make things really bad really quick.
- Meatball deliveries do not pay any money, but depending on the number delivered, Mr. Kamprad will reward you with a vehicle the next day: a Pick Up for 10 or 20 meatballs delivered, or a Lorry for 30 meatballs delivered. Lorries are the best Large Cargo vehicles, both fast and capacious, so I’d definitely try to go for 30 deliveries, if possible.
- Nothing special to mention here; you will probably get a random situation or two.
- Mr. Kampard will ask to help with some deliveries, again! The only meaningful option in the dialogue is how you react to “I need your help getting the store to the grand opening”.
- “The biggest Ineeda store” will allow choosing 300$ or 400$ per delivery
- “Sure, what do you need help with” will allow choosing 300$, 400$ or 500$ per delivery
- “I can do that but it will cost you” will allow choosing 300$, 400$ or 600$ per delivery.
- Mr. Kampard will agree for any price. It seems that you won’t get any extras if you choose the lower ones, but the high ones will require a faster delivery (at least the 600$ dialogue implies so).
- This was the first day when I started getting 3×3 sized Large Cargo. The only vehicle capable of transporting cargo this large is a Box Truck, so you’ll probably want at least 1 or 2 in your fleet (although you can do perfectly fine without them during the whole Campaign).
- Passenger order called Sabastian will spawn during the day, even if you have passengers type of deliveries disabled. This is a homeless person Mr. Kampard mentioned in the beginning of the day. Just divert this one immediately. Or you can try picking him up, read some dialogues (maybe there is a pun I don’t really know) and end up with a moderately damaged car (the one that picked Sebastian).
Swedish MeatBalls
Deliver 25 large cargo deliveries with complementary meatballs on the final day of the Stockholm campaign
- The whole dialogue with Mr. Kamprad was a bit confusing to me personally, because the numbers he mentioned didn’t add up. To unlock the Swedish MeatBalls cheevo go with the following answers: “Only 15?”, “Only 30 deliveries in total?”, “I can handle it!”. Despite him mentioning 15 Large Cargo and 15 meatballs, you will be tasked with delivering 25 Large Cargo and 25 meatballs. Just the right amount for the achievement.
- Tips for any last Campaign days can be safely applied here as well: prepare a decent vehicle fleet and divert any non-mission related orders at will. Keep in mind that meatballs are hot Food, so don’t forget to remove any Refrigerated Trunk upgrades from your vehicles.
Bonus – Driver Background Missions
Please note that vehicle upgrades mentioned as rewards are applied automatically and most of the times to the car that completed the mission. Keep this mind if you want a specific upgrade on a specific car.
- Bus Driver
- Final Exam: deliver 10 Ride requests to a single location, don’t ignore or deliver late. Pays standard price (unless you want to do it for free or charge +50$ extra per ride).
- Chauffer
- Elderly Assistance: pick up 4 people at a certain location and drive them around the city a bit (without speeding I presume). Reward: Trusted Ride Handler company trait (increased Ride payments by 25%) for the next 5 days.
- VIP Club: deliver VIP clients for what appears to be the triple standard cost. All Rides will have the same requirements: Luxury, No shared rides, Heated seats, No food. Therefore, a corresponding car or two will be required to successfully complete this mission; probably at least 1 Luxury SUV or Limo, since parties of 4+ people can spawn.
- Computer Engineer
- Build a Computer: computer parts will spawn on the map (was 7 for me) and will require delivery to a single spot on the map; the parts are fragile, so no speeding. As a reward you can pick 150$ per part (1.050$ in total) or some fake 5 star reviews. Not sure money is worth the trouble, but if you need to fix your rating a bit, those fake reviews can help (I got 9 fake reviews after the end of the day).
- Computer Delivery: computer parts will spawn on the map (was 7 for me) and will require delivery to a single spot on the map; the parts are fragile and the mission giver says that they will self-explode if damaged (I didn’t test that, so just keep this in mind). As a reward you can pick 1.000$ per part (7.000$ in total) or ask to remove some of the bad reviews.
- Convicted Felon
- Bank Visit: As soon as you complete the “visit”, all police cars in the city will begin chasing the car that delivered the passengers. You will need to deliver the clients to the destination without being stopped by police. I presume that if you do get caught, the car will be impounded and its driver will go to jail. But if you manage, a reward of 5.000$ is yours.
- Smuggler: as soon as you pick up the case to make a delivery, the police will chase the transporting car and there won’t be any drop-off points for some time, so you’ll have to evade. Reward: Police Scanner vehicle upgrade – shows police view radius.
- Sweeney Pies: deliver “Meat Pies” from a barber shop to locations around the city while avoiding police cars. After the mission time is over, you will receive 200$ for each pie delivered.
- EMT
- Emergency Room: deliver patients; late and ignored deliveries will result in a significant fine. The reward appears to be 3.000$ (300$ for 10 Rides), but the negatives seem to be way too harmful to bother with this mission: money loss, reputation loss, and cars getting dirty.
- Mail Carrier
- Art Gallery: deliver expensive paintings; these are fragile, so no speeding. Reward: 20.000$. This is probably the only driver mission really worth the hassle. This much cash is just broken.
- Box of Critters: deliver critters, avoid bad reviews. Not sure about the bonus, the dialogue message said that I will see more package deliveries.
- Wedding Invitations: deliver wedding invitations; these are fragile. Reward: I didn’t negotiate a price and agreed for 10$ per letter. At the end I received 1.000$ cash bonus and a 5 day buff that increases package payments by 25%.
- Pizza Delivery
- Stinky Cheese: deliver cheese from one point on the map to random locations. I haven’t negotiated the price, so each delivery was standard price depending on distance + 25$ bonus from the mission giver. Reward: Trusted Food Handler company trait (increased Food payments by 25%) for the next 5 days.
- Scientist
- Adventurous Invention: deliver random parts; these are fragile, so no speeding. Reward: Package Bot 3000 vehicle upgrade – prevents packages from being damaged (which allegedly should allow Rushing with fragile cargo on board).
- Franken-driver: deliver random parts; these are fragile, so no speeding. Reward: a “cyborg driver”. Not sure whether stats will be random, mine were the following: Licenses A+C, 4 positive traits (Opportunistic, Strong, Friendly, Charismatic), 0 negative traits.
