1.0.
After entering the prefecture, say goodbye to the young boy. You’ll regain control on a city street, you can now start exploring the area. There is a save point nearby down a street labeled ‘Nina Shrine’, after saving you can explore or speak to the officer in front of the Government building. He will tell you to go away, but a woman will take notice of you from one of the second story shops. Meet the woman on the second story, Zhou, and she will explain how to get past the police officer. Go to Luigi’s pizza and pick up two slices of pizza and then return to the guard. He will now let you pass, after entering the intro for the drifting prefecture will begin.
Exit the goverment building and head over to the Qusan apartment building and talk with the landlord. The landlord will tell you to get the keys from your apartment from the locksmith at the key store. Pick up the room 433 aparment key from the locksmith and return to the aparment building, the locksmith will now let you in. Take the elevator to the 4th floor and the apartment will be at the end of the hallway. After entering interact with the bed to go to sleep for the night.
Day 1 – Day
When you wake up the next morning, exit the apartment building and return to the area where you entered the prefecture, Hope will be waiting for you. After talking with her, meet the tailtor to have your measurements taken, then visit Amala at the weapons shop to have your Lament Armor adjusted. After talking to Amala the doors to the Fold elevator should now be open, they are located near the Government building entrance. Tell Hope you’re ready and then enter the elevator to descend to the first level of the scaffold.
1st Fold – The Bedrock – 1st Ward

Exit the elevator and talk with Hope, she’ll give you a small challenge of shooting 10 targets before the mission begins. The locations of the targets are on the map, after shooting all the targets return and talk to her again. After regaining control, go to the nearby Aji Ichi apartment buidling, Hope will unlock the door so you can enter.
The dingy interior of the apartment building has three floors, go to room 302 and Hope will unlock it like she unlocked the front door. Enter room 302, there isn’t much to see here, check the answering machine and a message will play explaining there is a key behind the information kiosk outside. Exit the Aji Ichi and return to the main street that connects through the ward, behind the information kiosk you will find the Fortune Teller’s key. This can be used to unlock the doors to the fortune teller’s shop.
Inside the fortune teller’s shop there is a safe on the wall, interact with it and Hope will open it using a hairclip. Pick up the Metal Container inside and bring it to the Butcher’s shop. Place the Metal Container in the vice and use it to open the container. The Metal Container contains the Apartment 201 key for the Aji Ichi Apartments. Return to the apartment building and unlock the door for 201. There is a slime enemy inside the room so be careful, after killling it read the note near the TV to initiate a cutscene. After the cutscene, pick up the Dead Cat on the bed and return to the Butcher’s shop.
Interact with the meat grinder to start a cutscene, after it finishes you should have the Melancholy Bar Key. Return to the main street that runs through the ward, and head down a set of stairs to reach the bar. After opening the doors and entering, interact with the cash register behind the bar. A short cutscene will start, when it finishes you’ll have the Convenience Store Key.
The convenience store is located next to the fold elevator, near where the level started. The Beoum Apartment Keys are lying on some boxes in the center of the store and there is a quarter in the cash register. You’ll come back to this area later, but for now just grab the keys and then make your way to the Beoum apartment building. There are enemies on all three levels of the apartment building so make sure to take them out before continuing. On the second floor hallway of the apartment building there is some chinese takeout food on the ground, interact with it to pick up the Golden Dragon key.
The Golden Dragon is located next to the Aji Ichi apartment building, use the Golden Dragon key to enter the restaurant and pick up the Beoum Apartments 1F key. Return to the Beoum apartments building and enter room 1F, search near the entrance of the room for a note explaining the apartment owners stolen harmonica. In the back of the apartment there is a bird in a cage and a safe. Interact with the bird, then grab the Briefcase Key from a dresser in the bedroom. Exit apartment 1F and go to the third floor and enter room 3C.
Inside, there is another note written by the mother of the boy who stole the harmonica. She mentions that the landlord leaves the key to his room above the door. Leave apartment 3C and go to the second floor, enter room 2C. The landlord’s room is mostly empty except for a note and the Landlord’s keys, these keys open every door in the building. Now that every door can be unlocked, you can now pick up the harmonica in room 2E.
Go to the third floor of the Beoum apartment building and unlock the door that leads to an exterior area. Jump down to the walkway below and go to the left. Follow the walkway until you reach the end and then jump off the ledge to the area below. Continue descending down until you reach an area with a shining object and a cockroach. Kill the cockroach and pick up the Barbershop Key.
Take the ladders back out of this area and then exit back to the main street of the ward, go back to the Beoum apartments and exit the third floor path the the exterior walkway, again go left then drop to the area below, this time instead of descending, follow the path to a barbershop. Use the Barbershop key to enter the building, interact with a damaged barbershop chair to reveal path to the store below.
Jump down into Katagu Shipping and pick up the 2nd Ward keycard on the counter. Exit Katagu shipping, return to the entrance of the level and save your game. Now that you have the 2nd Ward keycard, you can enter the next area, follow the main street through the ward to it’s end and interact with the video screen on the wall to use the 2nd ward key.
1st Fold – The Bedrock – 2nd Ward
Enter the 2nd ward and kill all the enemies on the first level, find the ladder next to a make-shift prison cell and go up to 2nd floor, continuing to the 3rd floor. Open the door to the dog grooming shop on the 3rd floor and flip the switch on the wall inside, it will open the doors to Best Pet Supply on the 2nd floor. Enter Best Pet Supply and flip the switch on the wall and the bars on the 1st floor blocking the street will disappear, allowing you to continue to another area.
Go back to the first floor and enter the area that was blocked before. On the right there is a long street infested with cockroaches, and on the left there is a building labeled ‘Chickenhead Mansions’ guarded by two alley cats. Instead of taking those routes, go forward toward the area labeled ‘Old Woman Qr’, kill the dogs guarding the street. Interact with the large door next to the fire pit to initiate a cutscene.
The list of items the old woman needs is posted next to the door. The items are in both the 2nd ward and 1st ward, so it’s best to get the items in the 2nd ward first. The closest item on the list is the Cake, it’s in the Barret Cake Bakery near the Old Woman’s apartment. The Cake can be found behind the front counter, by interacting with the cakes.
Return to the street infested with cockroaches and go into the first shop on the street, Mario’s Pizzeria. Look behind the front counter and you should be able to find the Tomato Sauce from the old woman’s list.

1st Fold – The Bedrock – 1st Ward
Return to the save point near the entrance and save your game, then go into the Butcher’s shop and collect the Meat from behind the counter. In the Convenience Store, search the different products on the wall to find a section of specialty breads, to find the Special Bread from the woman’s list. Return to the Melancholy Bar and search behind the bar for the Bottle of Wine. Finally, the last item from the list, 2 egg rolls, can be found behind the counter of The Golden Dragon restaurant. Now that you have all the items, return to the 2nd ward.
1st Fold – The Bedrock – 2nd Ward
Interact with the Old Woman’s door and give her all the items she requested. As promised, she tells you how to get to the 3rd ward. Leave the Old Woman’s Qr and return to the area with the building labeled Chickenhead Mansions, kill the two cats guarding the door and interact with the elevator inside. The elevator will take you to the 50th floor of Chickenhead Mansions, where Chickenhead’s mother lives. Enter Chickenhead’s apartment and a cutscene will play, after it finishes, return to the 1st ward.
Go into the Butcher Shop and flip the switch behind the counter, near the register. Next, go back to the third floor of the Beoum apartment building and exit to the exterior walkway, go right and now there should be a bridge leading to the 2nd floor of the Butcher Shop. Cross over to the Butcher Shop’s 2nd floor and enter the building. Inside, search for a suitcase near the back of the room, it contains sheet music. Pick up the sheet music and return back to the bird in apartment 1F, in the Beoum apartment building. A cutscene will play, after it finishes pick up the Golden Harmonica from the safe.
Golden Harmonica
This item can be used in-game to lure enemies towards you, just play it when you’re near them and they’ll be drawn to the sound.
After saving your game, go back to Chickenhead’s apartment and search the connected 2nd room for another piece of sheet music. Pick it up, then return to Chickenhead’s mother and a cutscene should play, when it finishes, you should have the keycard to the 3rd Ward. The door to the 3rd ward is located next to the VCD store, head back to that area and use the video screen on the wall to unlock the next ward.
1st Fold – The Bedrock – 3rd Ward
As you cross over into the 3rd ward, on your right there is a door that is a shortcut back to the 2nd ward, opening it is optional. Go left and continue down the street, there are some enemies here so be careful, continue walking down an alley and fight off several cockroaches. Continue forward down the alley path and you will eventually reach a dock covered with sleeping seals. Kill the seals and the other enemies in the area, then enter Blackbeard’s Bar near the dock. Inside, go behind the bar and read a note on the counter and pick up the Apartment 2F key, there is also a Steering Wheel at the end of the bar, so make sure to grab that as well.
Make your way back to the 1st ward, to the Beoum apartment building and enter Apartment 2F using the Apartment 2F Key. There is an optional cutscene if the player interacts with the television, otherwise go to the bedroom and interact with the corpse on the bed to start a cutscene. When the cutscene finishes, you will have the Forklift Keys. Return to the Forklift in the 3rd ward and use the Steering Wheel and Forklift Keys to start the forklift, a cutscene will start and the game will load into a new area.
1st Fold – The Bedrock – Chickenhead Boss Area
After the area finishes loading, kill the cockroaches and dogs nearby, then use the harmonica to lure the other enemies out towards you. After killing all of them, use the axe to break down the boards blocking access to Chickenhead’s lair. After breaking down the boards, enter a nesting area, and kill any remaining enemies. Use the axe to break down the boards leading to Chickenhead, and then approach him to trigger a cutscene.
Chickenhead Boss Fight
Do your best to avoid Chickenhead’s UFO as he attacks, using any healing items you have if necessary. After inflicting enough damage, Chickenhead will jump off his UFO and fight you on foot. Again, do your best to avoid his attacks, using the ‘Dash’ (double-tap the run button while running) and dodge projectiles. When you’ve damaged him enough a cutscene will start, after which you’ll be returned to the prefecture surface.
Day 1 – Night
With the mission complete, you return to the surface and talk with Hope. She tells you that after proving yourself against Chickenhead, you can start purchasing things at the nearby stores. Make sure to save your game, then go to the Discoveries shop and talk to the man who works there. He’ll pay you for all the discoveries you made while in the 1st Fold. Next, talk to the locksmith and he’ll pay you for the keys you picked up in the 1st fold. Talk to both the Discoveries worker and Locksmith after every mission to maximize the amount of items you can purchase.
You should now have enough money to buy a variety of things at the prefecture shops. It’s recommended to invest in some of the armor shop items, and health items from the potion shop, general store, or doctors office.
Take some time in both morning and night phases to discuss things with the townsfolk, your interactions might unlock different story paths, or new pieces of game lore. As the days pass, new items are unlocked in stores, and new pieces of lore appear in different parts of the prefecture surface, so make sure to explore each day and night.
After you’ve finished experiencing night time on the prefecture surface, you can return to room 433 in the Qusan apartment building and interact with the bed to go to sleep.
Day 2 – Day
Meet Hope near the prefecture entrance to discuss the next mission. When you’re finished talking with her, go to the weapons shop and Amala will give you what you need for the Nuclear Reactor. Next, meet Hope at the fold elevator and begin your descent to the 2nd level of the scaffold.
2nd Fold – Nuclear Reactor – Entrance
Exit the fold elevator and talk to Hope, she’ll give you some information about the reactor and its history. When you’re finished talking to her, carefully dispatch all the enemies in the area, then check the elevator. The elevator isn’t functioning correctly, go back and talk to Hope, then search for the fishing area at the end of the road.
Use the Fishing Pole and fish the ‘Tram Access Keycard’ out of the water. Return and talk to Hope and she’ll join your party again. Use the Tram Access Keycard to access the elevator and go to the 2nd floor. Use the control panel on the 2nd floor to call the tram, after it arrives, get inside and use the control panel inside the tram to load the next area.

As the tram pulls into the station you’ll see several enemies running towards the tram car, they will start attacking as the tram stops, so quickly exit the tram and start taking them out. When the area is clear, ascend the stairs near where the tram stopped. At the top of the stairs there is a bridge that leads to several different areas. Take out the slime enemies on the bridge and take the first right, descend the stairs and talk to the Old Fisher sitting on a ledge near a boat.
Return to the bridge and turn right and continue to the far end of the bridge path, descend another set of stairs near another tram car. There are more enemies to dispatch here, after taking them out, enter the second tram car and pick up the DIE-SIN coin sitting on one of the seats.
Return to the area where you arrived on the tram and search for a vending machine near the tram car. Use the DIE-SIN coin to purchase Gum from the vending machine, then head back to the bridge, and instead of going right to the Old Fisher, go left and descend down some broken stairs. Use the fishing rod and the Gum to pick up something shining in the water, the Old Man’s Trinket. Give this item to the Old Fisher and he’ll give you the Nuclear Reactor Keycard to get into the Die-Sin Nuclear Complex. The entrance to the complex is at the far end of the area the tram arrived in. The doors should automatically open since you have the keycard.
2nd Fold – Nuclear Reactor – Reactor Entrance
As you enter the Reactor Entrance a cutscene will play, make sure to kill the enemies nearby, explore the network of streets and shops until you find a motorcycle. After another the cutscene finishes, continue exploring the area past the motorcycle, interact with the gate marked ‘Reactor Cooling Office’. Speak with the voice on the intercom, they will open the gate, then enter the cooling office. Interact with the monitor with the letters A.E.O.S to start another cutscene.
AEOS will give you something called a Horatio Cube, it’s used to gather the other A.I.’s in the surrounding buildings. It will create a key that will let you continue into the reactor. After receiving the key, leave the cooling office and travel to each of the different buildings in the area and use the Horatio cube to download their AI.
Upon reaching the Church of Divine light you will notice the door is open, enter and talk to the preacher and he will give you a small mission to complete before uploading his AI to the cube. He tells you to return to the Old Fisher and give him some items and information, he will give you an item called Old Fisher documents.
Leave the church and exit the reactor area and head back to the Old Fisher. A cutscene will play as you re-enter the tram area and some new enemies will appear in the too. After defeating the enemies, interact with the Old Fisher’s body to pick up the Bloody Locket item, then return to the Church of Divine light.
Show the preacher the Bloody Locket and he will agree to be downloaded into the cube. Now that the Horatio Cube has all the AI’s downloaded into it, return to AEOS, who will download themselves into the Horatio Cube to complete the process. With the Horatio Cube assembled, leave the cooling building and return to the save point near the reactor entrance. Take the road upwards towards the Reactors sign, at the end of the street there is a door with a video control panel, interact with the control panel and the Horatio Cube should unlock the door.
2nd Fold – Nuclear Reactor – Path to Core 4
Use the save point to save your game, then continue down the long corridor. Avoid the dark strands hanging from the ceiling, they can damage you. Go all the way to the end of the long hallway, killing the robot enemies you encounter on the way. At the end of the hall there is a dead end caused by a cave-in.
Search the dead body on the floor to pick up the Executive Elevator Keycard. Enter room 3B-6 near the corpse, and kill the enemies inside. The red buttons on the terminals around the room are a puzzle, first push the middle button, then push the button near the ‘low power’ terminal in the corner, then hit the button closest to the door you entered through. This will power on the terminal in the corner, interact with it, and it will power on the Executive Elevator.
Return to the long hallway and go back towards the entrance, after a long walk take a left down a short hallway, go up the stairs and follow this path until you reach the Executive elevator. Insert the Executive Elevator Keycard into the elevator terminal and the doors will open, enter the elevator and interact with the control panel, the elevator will start moving upward.
Once the elevator reaches the top floor, exit and walk down the long corridor killing the enemies you encounter. You’ll eventually reach the front desk of the floor, go past it, through the boardroom, and interact with the control panel near the doors to a large office. The doors will open, enter and interact with Businessman Kawashi to start a cutscene.
Boss Fight – Businessman Kawashi
Kawashi will use projectile attacks to attack, so avoid them and use the dash move to get away quickly. After Kawashi takes enough damage he’ll transform into a second form. Do your best to avoid his attacks and use health items if your health is running low.
2nd Fold – Nuclear Reactor – Path to Core 4
After defeating Kawashi, you should be able to access the terminal in his office. Use the terminal and Hope will unlock a path through waste disposal. Return to the area where you entered the level and look for the red lights of the waste disposal gate. Interact with the gate to enter waste disposal.
Follow the path through the sewer-like area, when it comes to its end, jump off the ledge down into the murky water below. There is a gate blocking your path forward, it has a small terminal attached to it, use the Horatio Cube on the terminal to open the gate. Continue forward, on the right there is another path but it’s not useable at the moment, so continue forward and then take a left when the corridor ends. There is a gated door with a control panel in the next room, you can intetract with it but it won’t open yet.
Continue forward and you’ll reach a row of 4 locked doors, open the first locked door and flip the switch inside, it will raise a section of the floor allowing you to pass to the next area. Pass over the small bridge and kill the slime enemy, at the other side, look for another locked door, it has another switch inside that needs to be flipped, it will raise another section of the floor so you can continue forward.
Walk up the raised section of floor and interact with the terminal next to a gate, the Horatio Cube will open the gate. Go forward and drop down the to the lowest part of the sewer area. Climb up the ladder in the farthest corner of the wall, be careful of the enemy at the top. Push the red button on the large computer, this will activate the terminal nearby. Use the terminal, then exit back out to the entrance of this area.
The low power terminal nearby has activated, use it to raise another section of the floor, then activate the new terminal that is now accesible. Return all the way back to where you entered waste disposal, this time take the path that was unavailable before, the terminal in this section should now have power. Interact with the terminal and a new cutscene will start. Walk towards the large hole in the wall and interact with it, when the scene changes, walk towards Michael’s house.
When you return to the waste disposal, follow the path forward, into the flooded room, and push the button, this will unlock the final terminal in this area. Return to the blocked gated door in the nearby room, the terminal on the door now has power, interact with it to open the gate and enter the next section of the reactor.

2nd Fold – Nuclear Reactor – Path to Core 4
After exiting the elevator you will encounter another cutscene, when it finishes, take a right and walk to the end of the path and try to open the large gate that leads to the reactor. Next, go to the building across from the elevator and interact with the intercom labeled Max Takeout. The AI for the restaurant will help you how to enter the reactor if you follow their instructions.
Take the music Max prints for you and go towards the opposite end of the long road, there is a building marked ‘Electrical Management’, use the harmonica in front of it to open the door. Inside there is a database terminal, use it to access and download the AI. Return to Max and he will turn on power to a terminal near the Reactor Apartments building. Use the terminal to power the large gate to the reactor, it should now open.
2nd Fold – Nuclear Reactor – Path to Reactor Self-Destruct
Kill the cockroach near the entrance gate and then use the terminal nearby to open the gate. Continue forward and dispatch any enemies you encounter, all the paths on the bottom floor are blocked, use the ladder to go to the second floor. Kill the enemies in this area, then find the supplies near the back, climb on the boxes to access a vent on the wall and climb to the other side.
After exiting the vent continue following the path forward until you reach a terminal, interact with it to open the 2nd floor gate, so you won’t need to use the vent again. Next, climb over the boxes near the terminal to get to the other side, then enter another vent in the wall. The vent will transport you down to the first floor, in front of two enemies, quickly kill them, then turn right and go to the opposite side of the room and interact with another terminal. This terminal will open the gate nearby creating a shortcut to the area you accessed earlier. You can now return to the save point and save if you need to.
Return to the last gate that you exited from, and search nearby for another vent, it should be behind some boxes. Enter the vent and you’ll pass through to another part of the building. Kill the cockroach blocking the path to a terminal, then access the terminal, it will open the gate on the first floor next to the ladder. Travel back through the vent and enter the gate near the ladder. Climb over the boxes laying on the floor and then kill the Hazmat Suit enemy blocking your path, enter the vent on the wall.
This vent will take you to yet another terminal, interact with it to raise a section of the floor, allowing you to access a new area in the reactor building. Take the next vent at the end of the path and it will transport you to the 1st floor, near the area you just unlocked. Now is a good time to save your game, so quickly run back to the entrance and save.
Cross over the newly raised section of floor, and then take a left and cross over the narrow beam to the other side. Turn right and kill the slime enemy blocking your path, then climb over the boxes at the end of the walkway and use the vent on the wall. The vent will take you to another small section of walkway, where you need to climb over another box to access another vent. Enter the vent and you’ll be taken to a floor high above the other floors. At the end of the walkway there is another terminal, interact with it to raise another section of floor, allowing you to continue into the reactor.
Return through the vents to the newly raised section of floor, and pass over it to access a small elevator. Interact with it to unlock the large reactor vault, and enter the vault. Continue down the long path to another open door, and enter it to start a cutscene.
Boss Fight: Cousin Varren
The secret to this boss fight is to ignore Varren and climb the ladder to the second floor of the reactor, find the button on the second floor and push it. A wave of toxic nuclear waste will knock Varren back and de-activate his shield. When this happens, jump down and injure him as much as possible until his shield comes back. When it comes back, repeat the process of pushing the button and Varren can be beaten fairly quickly.
After defeating Varren a thrilling extended cutscene will play, it will end with you and Hope returning back to the surface of the prefecture.
Day 2 – Night
When you finish talking with Hope, make sure to talk to the Discoveries worker and the Locksmith to receive more income from your mission. When you’re finished enjoying the prefecture’s nightlife, return to your apartment at the Qusan apartment buidling and interact with the bed to go to sleep.
Day 3 – Day
As usual, exit the Qusan apartment building and meet Hope near the prefecture entrance. After speaking with her go to the weapons shop and talk with Amala. You can start an optional cutscene interaction by talking to the boy near the armor shop and giving him the ‘Bloody Locket’. Meet Hope in front of the fold elevator when you’re ready to begin the mission.
3rd Fold – Wasteland
Before you can leave the area near the fold elevator, you have to talk to Hope, she’ll join your party and encourage you to head towards the former provisional government building. This level is very big and has an open-world feel, so do your best to explore and get a feel for the area. To get to the provisional government building, follow the road forward, then take a short right, then a left, and go forward again, its directly across from the fold elevator.
As you approach the provisional government building a cutscene will play, afterwards search nearby to find the Main Seal in an old wheelbarrow, pick it up and it should allow you to open the front door of the provisional government building. Inside, you’ll find some enemies and a note but your path forward will be blocked by another door requiring two seals.
Exit the provisional government and take a left and continue forward until you reach a large gate with a sign that says Maple Road. Near the gate there are two small buildings surrounded by cats, Seal 1 can be found in one of these small buildings, do your best to avoid unnecessary fights with the cats while you retrieve the seal.
Before leaving this area to find the next seal, search the area behind the building you found the seal in, there should be a path that leads to a damaged red shrine. There is an optional cutscene that can be viewed if you interact with candle on the shrine.
The second seal is on the other side of the level, near a mechanics shop, there is a ladder attached to the wall that can be used to get to a second floor. Go up the ladder to the 2nd floor and Seal 2 will be lying on a ledge. Pick up Seal 2 and return to the former provisional government building, you should now be able to access the second area of the building. Unlock the door using the seals and continue down the hallway to the end, enter the room at the end of the hallway to trigger a cutscene.
When you regain control, you’ll need to search the wasteland for 7 bike pieces and then assemble them in the mechanics shop. The closest bicycle piece is in some debris in front of the former provisional government buldling, you should see it as you exit. The next closest piece is on the second story of a destroyed building directly across from the 1st bicycle piece. Climb the ladder to the top and pick up Bicycle Piece #2, from this vantage point you should be able to see some of the other pieces. The next closest piece is behind a shop next to the destroyed building you’re on, it should be lying on the ground in the dirt. Next, search the area near the fold elevator, the 4th bicycle piece should be in some tangled metal.

The final bicycle piece is near the mechanics shop, on the 2nd floor, accessible by the ladder you used to pick up Seal 2. Follow the path from the 2nd floor to the bicycle piece sitting on part of a destroyed wall. Now that you have all the pieces, enter the mechanics shop and interact with the box marked ‘Bike Parts’ to complete the bicycle. Now, walk to the Maple Road gate, and it will open and allow you to pass to the next area.
3rd Fold – Road To Boss
In this level you must ride the bicycle to the other end of Maple Road, where the army barracks are located. Since you can’t use any weapons while riding the bike, it’s best to just continue forward as fast as possible avoiding enemies you encounter. Stay on the main road and the gate to the army barracks will start to open as you approach, the next area will load as you go through the gate.
3rd Fold – Ground Zero
Like the Wasteland section from earlier, this is another big area with several locations. As exit the large gate a cutscene will play, afterwards enter the army barracks and find the Cliff Shrine key on one of the army beds. Exit the barracks start walking to the large set of stairs in the distance. Walk past the enemies and the large egg, you can refill your health by lining up several of the enemies in a row and shooting them. Hitting more than one enemy at a time will start refilling your health. Walk up the stairs until you reach fallen debris, you can crawl under them to get to the other side.
Enter the Cliff Shrine using the key and pick up the doll, and Barracks Seal 1 on the ground. Return to the army barracks and put the doll inside the fire pit outside, it will burn away revealing the Garage Key. Take the Garage key over to the large metal door in the side of the building the stairs are on. Open the door, and inside there is a large tank and Barracks Seal 2. Pick up the seal and return to the army barracks, use both seals to open the door and enter the Imperial Commander’s room. Pick up the tank key on the golden throne and then open the safe. Next, leave the barracks and a cutscene will trigger.
Boss: Autumn’s Baby
Regular shots with the Lament Arm won’t work this time, so run to the garage from earlier and use the Tank Key to get control the tank. Do your best to avoid the baby’s stomp attacks and make sure to give yourself time to run away between attacks. When you’ve inflicted enough damage, the fight will end and you will automatically exit the tank. Return to the gate you entered the area from, and head back to Maple Road.
3rd Fold – Road To Boss
Try to reach the other side of the road as fast as possible while avoiding any unnecessary damage from enemies.
3rd Fold – Wasteland
The first thing you’ll notice is the former provisional government building has caught on fire, make your way over to Hope, who is kneeling near the entrance. After a short cutscene, she will join your party, walk back to the fold elevator and get inside to go back to the surface.
Day 3 – Night
When you finish talking with Hope, make sure to talk to the Discoveries worker and the Locksmith to receive more income from your mission. When you’re finished enjoying the prefecture’s nightlife, return to your apartment at the Qusan apartment buidling and interact with the bed to go to sleep.
Day 4 – Day
As usual, exit the Qusan apartment building and meet Hope near the prefecture entrance. After speaking with her go to the weapons shop and talk with Amala, then meet AEOS. Hope wlil be waiting for you at the fold elevator, tell her you’re ready and enter the elevator.
4th Fold – Shopping Center – Mall Massacre
As you leave the fold elevator, Hope will give you some details about this level of the fold, when she finishes she will join your party. Follow the path forward passing Elevator 1 on your left, you’ll need to come back to it later. Continue down the walkway and descend the stairs and take a right, follow the path forward and on the left you’ll see Elevator 2, push the button to open the doors and get inside, then push the elevator button to go to L3 – Kuza Business Solutions.
Exit the elevator and proceed into the hallway, enter the first room on the left. Search the computer desk to find a CD-Rom disc. The Elevator 1 keycard is lying on a bookshelf in the corner of the room. Return to the elevator and go back up to the area where the level started, use the Elevator 1 keycard to unlock Elevator 1. This elevator will take you to the Fold 4 Transportation Office.
After leaving the elevator, take the first door on the left, interact with the old computer, then pick up the lockpick in the connected room. All that’s left in this area are some notes, so return back to the elevator. Instead of taking you back to the 3rd floor, the elevator will take you to the 1st floor and there will be several enemies waiting to surprise you, do your best to survive.
Take a left out of the elevator, and go towards the large open area at the bottom of the level. Kill the enemies patrolling nearby, then pick up the Jumper Cables sitting on the countertop in an abandoned shop, there is also another lockpick. Interact with the ladder lying in the rubble to set it back against the wall, allowing you to easily travel to the 2nd floor.
Save your game, then go to Elevator 2 and return to Kuza Business Solutions, use the lockpick on the door at the end of the hallway. Access the computer next to a safe, it will use the CD-Rom to input a password, then the safe will open revealing the Elevator 3 keycard. You can now exit this area and head to Elevator 3, a cutscene will start just as you are about to reach the elevator door. After the cutscene ends, use the Elevator 3 key to unlock Elevator 3, interact with the button inside and it will take you to a lower level stairwell.
Leave the elevator and walk to the large door next to a circuit box, interact with the circuit box to use the Jumper Cables, they will power the button that opens the door. Be careful when you open the door, there are enemies waiting inside. Towards the end of the small corridor there is an intercom on the wall, interact with it, and a short cutscene will start. Aftewards, return to the stairwell area and descend down the stairs to a second door. Use the Jumper Cables on the circuit box to open the door.
Walk down the short hallway and enter the door on the right, interact with the large refrigerator attached to Jumper cables. Next, find the refrigerator near the entrance and interact with it to pick up a Petri Dish. Search the refrigerators in the room for one with a strange substance on it, Michael will scrape the subtance onto the Petri Dish creating a Mold Sample. Use the mold sample on the refrigerator and the door will open. Interact the creature inside, the dead pig fetus will be added to your inventory.
Return to the intercom in the first stairwell area and talk to the voice on the other side, they will open a door, enter the room and place the pig on the boxes and pick up the Elevator 4 keycard. Return to the stairwell and descend down both sets of stairs and use the Elevator 4 keycard to unlock Elevator 4. It will take you back to the surface, where you’ll have to cross over a mound of dead bodies to get to Elevator 5. Luckily this elevator is already unlocked, it will take you down to another underground stairwell area.

Pick up the boat oars sitting near the benches outside, then go all the way back to the beginning of the level and save your game. Use the ladder against the wall to return to the 1st floor. Go down the narrow path that takes you to a dock, approach the large downed tram for a short cutscene, Hope will explain that the track has become electrified, to fix the problem the power needs to be shut off.
Kill the seal enemies on the dock then interact with the boat to start a cutscene. When it ends you’ll be on the dock outside the Edison Electrical Building. Walk up to the building from the dock and activate both fire pits, the treasure chest on the dock will open revealing a first aid pack. Enter the Electrical Building and walk down the stairs, directly in front of you there should be a damaged table with a broken TV on it, next to the TV there is a Level 1 Keycard.
Pick up the keycard and then turn and walk down the long corridor, and descend some stairs to a door marked ‘Condensers’. Use the Level 1 Keycard to open the door. Push the yellow button near the entrance to activate a small button on the nearby bridge, push the button to raise a platform to walk to the other side. On the other side push the yellow button on the computers to activate the button near the exit of the room. As you try to return you’ll find the platform you raised has receded back into the water below. Turn the large wheel to raise the bridge again. Push the yellow button near the exit to open the door.
Make your way down the long deformed hallway, killing the enemies you encounter on the way, continue following the path forward until you reach a dead body carrying a Level 2 Security Card. Return to the area near the entrance of the building, instead of turning right from the stairs, turn left and walk down the long hallway past some forklifts, there is a door marked EDISON, use the Level 2 keycard to enter the room. Inside on desk, near a computer, you’ll find the Level 3 security card. Go all the way back to the dead body where you found the Level 2 keycard, and continue forward, on the left there is a door labeled Turbine Control, use the Level 3 keycard to open it.
Use the control panel near the turbine to deactivate the power. This will cut off the electricitiy to the downed tram car. You can now return to the tram car and continue to the next level.
4th Fold – Shopping Center – Nobility Square
Use the save gem nearby to save your game, then continue through the debris covered area, being careful to take out each enemy you encounter. There is a path with some stairs to the right, ignore that for now and continue forward until you get to a dead end with a fishing spot. Use the fishing pole and a short dialogue scene will play, when it finishes you’ll have the Specialized Wrench. Turn around and go back towards the area you came from, take a left and go up the stairs and enter the storefront with broken windows.
Pick up the Lighter on the front counter then go back outside, there are two extractors outside the store, interact with the one with a yellow light. A dialogue scene will play, when it finishes you’ll have the Imperial Gate Key 01, one of the two keys needed to get into Bolo’s shrine.
The Prefecture Tailors storefront nearby has a lock on the door, continue past the store and follow the path forward and you’ll find an ice cream shop. In the back of the ice cream shop there is a broken soft-serve machine, use the Specialized Wrench to open the back of it, inside you’ll find the Lock key. Take the Lock key back to the Prefecture Tailors storefront and use it to open the lock.
Go to the back of the store and access the working elevator, get inside and go to the second floor. This area has a nice view of the surrounds, use the binoculars near the edge of the balcony to start a cutscene. When the cutscene finshes, you should be able to access the 2nd elevator nearby.
Exit the elevator and make your way down the dark corridor, be careful of the Ostrich enemies as they make their first appearance in this area. As you continue down the corridor, on your left is a tainted purification trough. At the next door on the left there is a box of bleach, pick it up and continue following the path forward. When you get to the end of the corridor take a right and go forward until you see a bottle sitting on one of the nearby wooden support beams.
Pick up the bottle of Ammonia and return to the tainted purification trough, interact with the trough and a dialogue scene will start, when it finishes you’ll have the Elevator ID Card. Continue to the end of the corridor and use the Elevator ID Card to open the elevator on the left. It will take you to another dark wooden corridor area with cattle pens connected to the walls and large troughs. Exit the elevator and continue forward until you reach a set of four cattle troughs, there is another bottle of Ammonia sitting on trough on the left, nearby on the right there is another box of bleach sitting on a trough.
Continue to the end of this section, then take a left and pass the lines of stables on your right, until you see another tainted purification trough, use the Bleach and Ammonia to cleanse it, it will reveal a note etched with several symbols. Further down the corridor past the trough, a shining key will poke out from some hay, interact with it to pick up the Stables Key. Search the nearby stables in the area for the symbols etched into the purifcation trough note, in some cases you’ll need to burn hay covering the symbols using the Lighter. Once you have uncovered all 4 symbols, go all the way to the end of the corridor to the locked door. Input the symbols in the order from the note to open the lock.
Save your game and leave the building, you’ll find yourself in a partially flooded entertainment area. Most of the content in this section is optional, you can enter the theatre and interact with the posters and door to read some lore about this level of the fold. Enter the arcade and search for some tokens, use them on the claw machine game to pick up the Penthouse key. Go all the way back to the elevator in the long corridor where you unlocked the stables, and ride it back upwards. Exit the elevator, turn left and now you can enter the elevator that had been blocked before, it will take you to Bolo’s penthouse.
Search Bolo’s penthouse, in a dining area on a table you’ll find the Flying Guillotine, a new weapon, and Imperial Gate Keycard 02. Return to the beginning of the level and interact with the control panels near the gate to Bolo’s shrine, a short dialogue scene will start and the gates will open. Continue through the gates, then into the building, run down the long corridor and greet Bolo in his chambers.
Boss Fight: Bolo Itawa
Bolo is a formidable opponent who will attack you with his flying guillotine, rush you on foot, and jump long distances to get to you. Backpeddle while avoiding his attacks and dash away when he’s able to get too close. After the fight ends a cutscene will play and you will be transported back to the prefecture surface.

When you finish talking with Hope, make sure to talk to the Discoveries worker and the Locksmith to receive more income from your mission. There are only two more nights left to purchase items at the prefecture stores, so make sure to spend wisely. You might need the health picks ups you purchase from the prefecture against the final boss of the game. When you’re finished enjoying the prefecture’s nightlife, return to your apartment at the Qusan apartment buidling and interact with the bed to go to sleep.
Day 5 – Day
Exit the Qusan apartment building and meet Hope near the prefecture entrance. After speaking with her go to the weapons shop and talk with Amala. Hope wlil be waiting for you at the fold elevator, tell her you’re ready and enter the elevator.
5th fold – Farmland – Diseased Farmland
Exit the elevator and talk to Hope, she’ll join your party. Continue down the road until a cutscene starts, when it finishes dispatch the floating cow enemies floating towards you. When you reach the end of the road, take a right. Continue past Stables 01 and Stables 02 on the right, you’ll see a farmer enemy near a small enclosure filled with hay. On top of the hay there is a new equippable item, a Shovel. The Shovel can be used to dig up mounds of dirt to find items.
To your left should be a large field of crops with electrict towers, and to your right should be a smaller section of field with large sunflowers. Turn left and go toward the large field of crops, go all the way to the fence in the back and start digging in the large mounds of dirt. In one of the two dirt mounds near the fence you’ll discover the Safe Key.
Return back to the main road and continue forward, eventually you will come to a a building labeled Stables 03. Go past the building and take a right into another crop area filled with corn. Go all the way to the back of the crops, there will be more mounds of dirt in front of a large building labeled Farmland Apartments B. Dig the mounds of dirt near the apartments to pick up ‘Stables Key 02’.
You might remember you passed Stables 02 earlier, near where you picked up the Shovel. Return to Stables 02 and use the key to enter the locked door. Inside, as you walk past the stables, look to the left for another mound of dirt to dig in, interact with it to pick up the Stables 03 key. Use the Safe Key on the safe at the end of the long row of stables to pick up the Stables Lock Key.
Now that you have the Stables 03 key, return ot the Stables 03 building and use the key on the locked door. Be careful when entering as there are a couple ostrich enemies in this area. Use the Stables Lock Key to enter the blocked stable door, then pick up the Scythe resting on top of a large stone monument (Offering Shrine). The Scythe is another weapon added to your inventory, it can be used to cut down crops.
Interact with the offering shrine for a short dialogue scene, to make an offering you need 3 piece of corn, 3 sunflowers, and some cow meat. Return to the corn crops and use the Scythe to start harvesting the corn. Corn will appear on the ground as a shiny object, when you have three pieces of corn go back to the Sunflower field and start harvesting using the Scythe. When you’ve collected 3 pieces of Sunflower, find the cow carcass near the enclosure where you found the Shovel, interact with it to pick up Cow meat.
Go back to Stables 03, and return to the offering shrine. Use the three items at the offering shrine to start a short dialogue scene, when it finishes, leave the building and fight the new enemy that has appeared outside. When you’ve defeated the Bull enemy, pick up the Imperial Garden Key 01. Use this keycard at the second Imperial gate blocking off progression to the next area.
As you pass through the gate you’ll see Stables 04 on your right, it’s empty. In front of you there is a brick building with Stables 05 written on it, you’ll find the door is locked. To the left of Stables 05, is another brick building with Stables 06 written on it, its also locked. To the right of Stables 06 there is an open muddy area you can enter, if you follow that path you’ll reach Stables 07. Unlock the other stables nearby the door to this one is unlocked, enter and start interacting with the pig carcasses in the room, one will have the PigPen Key 1.
Head back to Stables 05 and use PigPen Key 1 to enter. Look around the interior until you find PigPen Key 2 sittng on a mound of hay. Next, return to Stables 06 nearby and the PigPen 1 key should open the lock. Walk all the way to the other end of the building, passing all of the dead animals in their pens. You’ll reach a door, use PigPen key 2 to open it. On the other side of the door there are three floating pig enemies, so dispatch them as quickly as possible. Stables 08 nearby is locked, so continue down a path that leads away from the stables, past a fire pit. You’ll come to a large bridge over a calm river, near the other side of the bridge there are farmer enemies ready to attack.
Pass over the bridge and kill the enemies in the area. Take a left and continue that direction until you come to another Offering Shrine. This shrine requires 3 fish, 1 sunflower, and 1 piece of pig meat. The fish can be found by fishing off the sides of the three bridges in the nearby area. The sunflower can be found back in the previous section, where you used the scythe to harvest crops. The pig meat can be found in Stables 07 and Stables 05, inspect the pig carcasses inside until you find one that is suitable.
Return to the Offering Shrine and offer the items you gathered, a short dialogue scene will start and a new enemy will appear. The Gore Dragon enemy is very simple to defeat, it has a simple fire attack and will circle around in the air between attacks, with patience and some good aim it should be easy to take down. The Gore Dragon will drop the PigPen 4 key when it dies. Turn around from the shrine and walk in the opposite direction, until you reach an old shrine on your left, kill the enemies nearby then dig up the mounds near the shrine. There is Ammonia hidden under one of the mounds.
Cross the bridge near where you found the Ammonia, inside the small building near the other side, there is a box of bleach. Return to the Gore Dragon’s offering shrine and cross the bridge next to it, on the other side there is a tainted purifcation trough. Use the Ammonia and Bleach to cleanse the trough, you’ll find PigPen key 3 inside. Return to Stables 08, near where you killed the floating pigs earlier and use PigPen key 3 to enter. Kill the farmer enemies inside the stable, then make your way to the other side of the building, the door should be unlocked. After exiting Stables 08 you’ll see the Slaughterhouse building, the PigPen 4 key should unlock the door and allow you to enter.
Pass through another Stables building and you’ll reach an empty room with another Offering Shrine. This shrine requires 1 horse meat, 4 pieces of corn, and 2 fish. The horse meat can be found hanging next to the entrance of the slaughterhouse building. Head back to the corn field from earlier and harvest four pieces of corn, you can catch fish off the bridges near the second offering shrine. After you’ve gathered all the items, interact with the shrine and a short dialogue scene will start, when it finished enter the big hole in the wall to enter the slaughterhouse.
5th fold – Farmland – Slaughterhouse
Follow the long narrow passage until it opens up into a room covered in rust and grime, use the save gem next to the entrance to save your game. Be careful to avoid the many slime enemies on the floor, you can kill them easily with the lament arm to regain some health. Search the room until you find another Offering Shrine, interact with it to start a short dialogue scene. For this shrine you need to collect a cow heart, a horse heart, and a pig heart.

Open the gate next to three large hooks hanging from the ceiling, then continue forward further into the slaughtering area. On the left there is another switch, flip it to open the locked gate directly in front of you, it will reveal a room filled with animal pens, a place for animals to wait before they will be slaughtered. As you enter this area, you’ll see three animal pens in front of you, the pen all the way to the right has another switch inside it, flip the switch and it will unlock another gate. Pass through the opened gate and kill the goat enemy waiting for you. The final switch is in this area, flip the switch and it will open another gate.
Leave the slaughtering area through one of the exit gates then take a right and proceed to the newly unlocked section of the slaughterhouse. In this part of the slaughterhouse, they process the dead animals and clean their carcasses to prepare for packaging and shipping. Descend the ladder down to the floor below, walk down the short flight of stairs, to your right there is a large metal contraption, push the button on it and it will open revealing a a shiny object. Interact with the shiny object to pick up a Fuse.
Directly across from where you picked up the fuse there is a small box attached to the wall, interact with it to put the fuse inside, this will activate the buttons to the two doors in this room. Before leaving this room, check in the corner for an animal carcass, it contains the Horse Heart you need for the offering shrine. Using the now activated button, open the door next to the horse carcass. This room contains a small a pool to wash the animal carcasses, interact with the carcass inside the pool to pick up the Cow Heart.
After picking up the Cow Heart, open the other closed door in this room using the button next to it. There is a small but deep pool in the next room, this is the endtrails pool, where the animal’s endtrails are coaxed out from the rest of their dead body. Use your fishing pole in the endrtrails pool to pick up a Metal Egg.
Continue to the next room, using the button to open the door. This area is where the final washing of the animal carcasses takes place. Check the animal carcass hanging from the ceiling in a small side shower, it should contain the Pig Heart. You now have all three hearts to use at the Offering Shrine. Return to the Offering Shrine but before interacting with it, use the vice nearby to open the Metal Egg and take out a second Fuse. Now go to the Offering Shrine and use the items to complete the offering, a path will open inside of the shrine allowing you to enter the next room. In the next room there is another offering shrine but this time it requires a dead human body.
To the right of the second offering shrine there is another switch, flip it then return to the area near the first offering shrine. Next to the first offering shrine, there is a large gate next to a button, the button should now be active, use it to open the gate. As you enter the room, open the gate to the left and kill the pig enemy, walk over the circular platform, and then up an incline to a large pool, there is a large gate near the pool with a switch next to it, flip the switch and the gate will open revealing a beeping computer terminal on the wall. Interact with it to start a cutscene. When the cutscene finishes return to the are where you picked up the first Fuse.
As you descend down the ladder, then down the stairs again, instead of entering the door near the horse carcass, take the door on the left. In this room there is another metal contraption and another locked door. Search the room for another fusebox and insert the second Fuse you found inside the Metal Egg. The door nearby should now open, inside there is another endtrails pool. Search the wall for two out of place tiles and press them both in. Next, return to the other room with the endtrails pool, search the wall to find 3 more tiles to press in.
When you’ve pressed all the tiles, the endtrails pool in this room will drain, and you’ll get access to the old 3d Printer room downstairs. Descend the ladder then continue forward until you reach another large pool, all the way in the corner of the room there is another switch, flip it, then access the control panel at the other end of the room. Insert the USB drive and download the data, then return upstairs and bring it to Horizon.
Interact with horizon’s terminal and another cutscene will start, when it finishes you’ll have the dead body for the second offering shrine. Return to the second offering shrine and interact with it to start another cutscene, when it ends the path to the boss will have opened. Proceed through the offering shrine to start the Slaughterhouse boss fight.
Boss: Slaugherhouse Boss
Keep your distance and use the flying guillotine, or lament arm if you have good accuracy. This isn’t a tough boss but he is fast and can surprise you.
After defeating the slaughterhouse boss, the Imperial Garden Keycard 02 will be added to your inventory, this is the second key needed to open the gate to the Imperial Garden, where Hope’s mother is. Return all the way back to large gate near the beginning of level, and use both keycards to open the gate. When the next area loads, continue forward towards the shrine, a cutscene will start, after it finishes enter the shrine to fight Hope’s mother.
Boss Fight: Hope’s Mother
Hope’s mother is fast and she will refill her health twice if she’s damaged, avoid her attacks and land as many attacks as you can.
Day 5 – Night
After defeating Hope’s mother you will arrive back at the prefecture surface, talk to the Discoveries worker and the Locksmith to receive more income from your mission. Use this night to buy any remaining items you need for the rest of the game, since you’ll no longer have a way to purchase items. Health items will be very useful for the bosses after you return from the prefecture. This is the last night in the prefecture, so take care of any unfinished business, when you’re done return to your apartment and interact with the bed to go to sleep.
Day 5 – Night – Surface Destroyed
When you regain control, leave Michael’s apartment and use the elevator to get down to the ground floor. Exit the apartment building, and make your way over to the Nina Shrine. Amala will appear and give you her Weapons Shop Key. Leave the shrine and go to the weapon shop, use the key to get inside, then use the door in the back of the shop.
Day 5 – Night – Back Alley
You’re now in the backroom of the weapon’s shop, use the save gem to save your game then exit out into the back alley, on your left there is a stock room for another shop, inside there are some food items and rations but nothing of use at the moment. Opposite the stock room door, there is a locked door. As you continue down the alley, there is another door on the left, inside there is an old woman, interact with her and she’ll ask you to bring her a bottle of Heaven’s Night.

At the end of the corridor there is a collapsed statue, interact with it and then return to the Father of the Apocalypse statue in the previous area. Use the harmonica to serenade the king and the gates blocking the treasure chest will disappear. Use the lighter to burn the foliage surrounding the treasure chest. Inside you’ll find the Bow and Arrow. Return to the large sewer system area, note the torch above the large gate. Use the bow and arrow to shoot an arrow through the fire on one of the torches, at the torch above the gate. This will light the torch above the gate and the gate will open.
Follow the new path forward to a dead end, then climb up the ladder. Turn left and continue forward, talk to the man you see near some sewer pipes. He will tell you he’s starving, go all the way back to the stockroom containing food items and rations, and pick up some of the Rations. Return to the hungry man and give him the rations, this will distract him long enough for you to pick up the bottle of Heaven’s Night sitting on his bed.
Bring the bottle of Heaven’s Night to the old woman and she’ll immediately drink it and die. Pick up her body and bring it to the Cemetery, the guard will let you through now. Put the old womans body into the cremation oven and when the process finishes, pick up the Storage Room Key. Return back to the locked door across from where you picked up the Rations, use the key to open the door.
Enter the storage room and pick up the Back Alley Key. Return to the area where you met the hungry man and use the Back Alley key to open the locked gate. Talk to the Shrinekeeper to start a dialogue scene. After talking to her, interact with the Yggdrasil tree, a cutscene will play. When the cutscene finishes, you’ll have the Yggdrasil Seed item. Climb the ladder at the back of the room to load the next area. You’ll find yourself back on the surface of the prefecture near the fold elevator, after a short dialogue scene, get inside the elevator and ride it down to fold 6.
6th fold – Imperial Palace – Gateway to Heaven
Exit the elevator, continue forward until you reach a wooden blockade. Pick up the Grappling Hook stuck to the blockade, this new equippable item can be used to climb on to certain objects and walls. To use the grappling hook, get closed to the blockade and point it towards the top, the grappling hook icon will appear. Go over the blockade and continue forward, a cutscene will start. When it finishes defeat the Mr Keepo statue, then ascend the stairs and continue to another blockade, using the grappling hook to scale it. Defeat the archer enemies in this area, and continue forward scaling each blockade until you reach the top of the stairway. Kill the Concluse Blob enemies, then continue towards the bathysphere, interact with it and a cutscene will start, taking you to the next area.
6th fold – Imperial Palace – Emperor’s Palace Exterior
Use the save gem to save your game then head toward the emperor’s palace in the distance. As you reach a Mr Keepo statue blocking your path, a cutscene will start and you’ll be taken to the interior of Michael’s old house. Find the door to Michael’s room and interact with it, you’ll be transported back to the road to the emperor’s palace. After you regain control, continue towards the emperor’s palace. There are 6 mirrors surrounding the palace, each mirror will lead to a past prefecture boss. To enter the palace, you must defeat all the bosses again using the same tactics as before. Once defeated, the front door to the palace will unlock.
6th fold – Imperial Palace – Emperor’s Palace Interior
Walk through the short hallway, save at the save gem, then enter the large room. To your left there is a minaturized pagoda with two elegant benches sitting across from each other. On one of the benches there is a book describing a mirror ritual, quickly read it. Near the minature pagoda there is a long set of doors labeled Hall of Preserving Harmony, open the doors and enter the room. At the back of the room past the minatures there is a red box, interact with the box to pick up Black Lipstick. Nearby there is a table with a large ceremonial plate, pick up the Red Seal on top of the plate.
Return to the large room and in the back right corner there is a door with a place for the red seal. Use the Red Seal to open the door, then interact with the red mirror inside. After interacting with the mirror you’ll be transported inside the minaturized version of Hope’s mother’s shrine. Follow the path around the shrine to a shiny object, it’s the Golden Key, pick it up and continue forward, you’ll reach a set up steps at the back of the shrine, walk up them and pick up the yellow wax seal sitting on a short table. Return to the mirror you used to enter this area and interact with it to return to the large room.
In the back right corner of the room there is another seating area, with three red pieces of furniture, two chairs and a bench. One one of the chairs there is a gold box, use the Golden Box Key to open it. Inside you’ll fine ‘Palace Model Key A’. On the opposite side of the room from the door requiring the red seal, there is another door requiring a yellow seal. Use the yellow seal you found to open the door, and interact with the yellow mirror inside. The yellow mirror will take you inside the miniaturized version of the Emperor’s Palace.
Near the stairs leading up to the palace there is a box with a Orange Seal inside, take the seal and return to the large room using the mirror. Find the door that requires the orange seal and use it to gain access. Interact with the mirror inside to be transported to the inside of the model of the Imperial Government building. Avoid the cockroaches and make your way to the door of the building, enter it and you’ll be transported to the back of the building.
Near the back door there is an Antique Doll sitting in a box. Pick up the doll and go all the way back, through the mirror, to the large room. Return back to the miniature of the emperor’s palace using the door that required the yellow seal. Burn the doll in one of the fire pits to reveal ‘Palace Model Key B’. Use ‘Palace Model Key A and ‘Palace Model Key B to open the doors of the emperor’s palace miniature, you’ll be transported to the interior of the miniature.
After being transported inside the emperor’s palace interior, go to your left into the hallway of preserving harmony and pick up the white seal sitting on a table at the back of the room. Return to the large room in the miniature and find the yellow mirror thats visible, interact with it. You’ll find yourself inside an even more rudimentary miniaturized version of the emperor’s palace interior. Search the walls of the interior for another yellow mirror and interact with it, it will return you to the regular sized version of the emperor’s palace. Exit the small room then head back to the large room, use the white seal to enter the last blocked door, and continue to the second floor of the palace.

Return to the Garden of Traquility room and place both eggs on the statues with with outraised arms. Leave the Garden of Tranquility room and in the center area of the floor a new statue will appear in one of the troughs, its holding the Pleasure Squad key. Pick up the key and return to the 3rd floor and open the pleasure squad door. Climb up the ladder at the back part of the room, and go up to the 5th floor.
Save your game at the 5th floor save gem and then search the 5th floor until you find a book on a large pedestal, interact with it and then return to the 4th floor. In the trough next to where the new statue appeared, there are some pieces of meat, interact with it to pick up a piece of sacrificial meat. Return to the area near the book of sacrifice and there will be another piece of sacrificial meat in the troughs hugging the walls. Pick it up and return and use the book and the doors to the next floor will open.
