“This guide will help you earn all 42 achievements in the game Codename CURE. I’ll show you exactly what you need to do to unlock each achievement.”
Kill based achievements (15 total)
For these achievements, it is easiest to play on a server with infinite ammo. I’ve found that CURE Test server #1 works best.
- Surgical precision
Kill 400 infected with the PSG-1 - Spray ‘n’ Pray
Kill 500 infected with the Galil.
One tip I have, is to burst fire and aim for headshots. This will improve the amount of kills you can get per magazine. - Quicker Than Reloading
Kill 500 infected with pistols. Channel your inner John Wick. Again, aiming for the head will make the process easier. - It’s How You Use It
Kill 250 infected with the MP5. ♥♥♥♥ weapon. Aim for headshots. - Point Duty
Kill 500 infected with the XM1014 (Pointman shotgun). This weapon shines on infinite ammo. - Pump Action
Kill 250 infected with the M3. I’ve found this weapon to be more effective when aiming.
- KDR
Kill 100 infected in one life. Easy, this should happen in your average game. - Bean Counter
Kill 10+ infected with one grenade. Play on a survival map, train a horde and throw a grenade. Quite easy.
Do however note that you don’t always start out with grenades in a survival game. It is easiest to restart until you do. - Mean Left Hook
Get 150 melee kills. Try using melee attacks more in your normal games and while grinding for these achievements. It’s especially powerful on small groups of infected. - Supreme Sacrifice
Get a grenade sacrifice with 5+ kills. (You have to die too) Play on a survival map, train a horde and then throw a grenade. Stand still so that the zombies damage you to the point your own grenade finishes you. You may need to play around a bit with the timing. - Arsonist
Kill 500 infected with fire (incendiary grenades) Same thing as Bean Counter. Train a horde and throw an incendiary. Repeat this a few times. - No-one Left Behind
Cure 250 soldier zombies (big boii). - They Took Our Jobs
Kill 500 infected with your sentry. Camp in long hallways (CBE_OFFICE and CBE_BUNKER worked for me) - Just Following Orders
Kill 10000 infected. Pain. Just grind the other achievements and play some games like normal. - Healer
Not really a kill achievement, but I have nowhere else to put it. You need to heal your team for a total of 2500 health with the support-class ammo box. The way I got this, is by:
1. Enabling friendly fire in the console (mp_friendlyfire 1)
2. Playing on cbe_office (insane difficulty)
3. Placing my box on the stairs (like in the image)
4. Moving one or more bots close to the box (you can push them)
5. Shooting them to yellow-reddish health
6. Repeating this. I reset every time the box ran out of supplies (as it takes too long to wait to replenish).Get comfortable, as this will take some time.
This section should net you (15/42) Achievements.
Difficulty / Map Completion Achievements (27 total)
- Lieutenant
Complete any official mission on casual or higher, without dying. - Captain
Complete any official mission on average or higher, without dying. - Major
Complete any official mission on skilled or higher, without dying. - Colonel
Complete any official mission on insane, without dying.
Just complete any map on insane to get all three achievements.
Run every (official) map once on insane difficulty.
- cbe_bunker
- cbe_cityblock
- cbe_flatline
- cbe_frostbite
- cbe_office
- cbe_trainstation
I recommend playing on Cure Test Server #1. Just grenade yourself to skip maps you don’t need.
For these achievements, I used Cure Test Server #2. Again, grenade yourself to skip maps you don’t need. Infinite ammo should make this a piece of cake.
- Neighbourhood Watch
Complete 10 consecutive waves on Neighbourhood without dying on average or higher. - Homeowner
Complete 10 consecutive waves on House without dying on average or higher. - Lumberjack
Complete 10 consecutive waves on Forest without dying on average or higher. - Last Man Standing
Survive a wave after all of your teammate have died (on wave 10+), on skilled or higher. I recommend playing with bots. In my case, they all started dying on higher waves (8+) anyways. If you are unable to survive on your own on higher waves, you can try this on CURE Test Server #2 with a friend or other player to help. I recommend that they should… grenade themselves at around 10 zombies left. - Hold Out
Complete a survival (official map) on average or higher, without dying. (Survive 12 waves) - Survivor
Hold Out, but on insane. I recommend you stick to csv_house, and run around the little round with the semi-auto shotgun. - Scavenger
Complete 5 consecutive waves on any official survival map, without using the resupply chest.
- Cadet
Complete the training. - Unfriendly Fire
Complete any official mission, on skilled or higher, without any friendly fire incidents. For me, this popped after a solo mission. I did use the console to enable friendly fire first though. The command for this is mp_friendlyfire 1. This command does not require cheats to be enabled. If this doesn’t work, I can only recommend playing with some capable friends and communicating thoroughly (discord call etc) - Conservationist
Complete any (official) cbe map on skilled, whilst only using your secondary (pistol). You CANNOT use any grenades, ammo boxes or other class items. I recommend playing on the map you’re most comfortable with. Play with friends, online or bots and stay behind a bit. I recommend using pointman for this, as his pistols are quite good. - Veteran
Complete 100 missions (official maps) on average or higher. This is just a pain in the arse. I just played with bots for a while. This guide (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2155671965) by Forehead recommends playing on cbe_trainstation, as it is the quickest map to complete. I just got bored and switched maps once in a while.
This section should net you the remaining 27 Achievements.
