Collections Achievements

Power Paws are powerful collectibles found throughout the Wildwoods that unlock permanent buffs for your character. There are 28 Power Paws currently in-game, and they come in six different colors, with each color providing a different effect. They can be found in a variety of ways, such as by completing puzzles, answering seasonal cat-related trivia questions, breaking special rocks and stumps, purchasing them from various shops, and completing the curio collection at the museum.

Curios are collectibles that can be found in Unidentified Curio Boxes, which can be collected primarily by searching chests in the mines, purchasing them from various shops, and crafting them at the herbalist workbench. You can also find them in a few places around the map. To be able to access the museum, you first need to unlock Glimmer and their den/museum via a Temple bundle. You must identify the Unidentified Curio Boxes using the identification table before donating them to Glimmer. Only curios you have not previously donated can be donated to the museum.

Skill Achievements
Unlock All Skills
Skills are special abilities that will help you in the Wildwood, each one providing you with a different benefit. There are currently 20 different skills available. You will unlock the skill “Lion’s Roar” automatically after completing the tutorial. To unlock the other 19 skills, you will need to spend XP at the Scratching Post located in your den. Each skill costs 50XP to unlock the first rank. Unlock the first rank of all available skills to unlock this achievement.
Mastery
Fully Upgrade a Skill to Rank 10
As with unlocking skills, to upgrade a skill you will need to spend XP at the Scratching Post in your den. Each rank of a skill will increase in XP cost, and fully upgrading one skill costs 2,250XP in total. To quickly get this achievement, I recommend focusing on upgrading only one skill that you feel will benefit you the most until you reach rank 10.
Cat Coach
Rank Up a Buddy to Level 10
When you reach at least three relationship stars with a cat in your colony, you are able to “Buddy Up” by speaking with them. Your buddy will then follow you, helping you catch prey, find herbs, and assisting in battles with Voidling Cats. To rank up your buddy, they must earn enough XP to fill up their XP bar while in your company, and then you must spend a small amount of XP to increase their rank. Ranking up your buddy’s skill will increase their health, damage, hunting skill, and foraging skill. Each cat in your colony has an active and passive trait that provide different benefits to aid you while they are in your company.
For more information about Buddy Traits, take a look at my guide linked below.

Battle Achievements
Win 5 Daily Battles
Daily Battles have the power to greatly affect your colony’s influence on the map. Two Daily Battles against Voidling Cats start in different regions every in-game day at 12AM. You are also able to trigger additional battles by speaking with Talon and sending squads to areas you have not claimed yet. Completing a Daily Battle will increase your influence in the area the battle occurred in and provide you with a random reward, while failing to win the battle during that day will greatly decrease your influence in that area. To get all of the Daily Battle achievements, my biggest tip is to complete the battles daily, as 100 battles is a lot, and can get very tedious if you save the battle achievements for the end of the game. Also, make sure to fully upgrade your barracks at the Founder’s Stone and take advantage of Talon’s squads to trigger additional battles every day.
Soldier
Win 50 Daily Battles
See Skirmisher.
Conqueror
Win 100 Daily Battles
See Skirmisher.
Bane of the Dark
Defeat 10 Voidling Cats
Voidling Cats are hostile creatures created by the Wildwood Champion, whose goal is to push your colony out of the Wildwood. The easier way to find Voidling Cats and get all related achievements is by completing Daily Battles. They can also sometimes be found in contested areas of the map.
Champion of Light
Defeat 100 Voidling Cats
See Bane of the Dark.
Challenger of the Void
Defeat an Invasion Summoned by a Wretched Talisman
The Wretched Talisman is a legendary amulet that summons an invasion of Voidling Cats. To get this achievement, you must first craft the Wretched Talisman at the Mole Forge using one of the following recipes: 2 Ruby + 6 Iron Ore + 18 Voidmarrow, 72 Voidmarrow, or 1 Brightstone. Once you have the talisman in your inventory, simply use it to start the invasion. Please note that this fight is very tough, so make sure you are fully prepared before starting it.
Relationships Achievements
Reach Max Friendship Rank with Any Cat
Relationships with other cats in your colony are represented by the 4 stars under their name. The more stars that are filled, the higher your friendship rank with that cat. By default, each cat in your colony has a relationship rank of 1 star, which can be increased by talking with them, giving them gifts that the like and love, completing tasks for them, and choosing certain dialogue choices in cut-scenes with them. There are some mechanics that will make it easier to do raise their relationships as well, such as by using the skill “Kindly Purr” around the cat(s) you’d like to befriend, collecting Purple Power Paws, and filling the prey stockpile and activating the related perk at the Founder’s Stone. You must gain enough relationship points with one cat to fill up their friendship meter to 4 stars to reach max relationship rank for this achievement.
Popularity Contest
Reach Max Friendship Rank with 10 Cats
See Neighborly Negotiations.
How Romantic!
Begin Dating Any Cat
Once reaching a 4-star friendship rank with any cat, you can begin dating them by gifting them a Red Rose, which can be bought at Ember’s shop beginning at Summer 5 of the first year or found at the Old Farm. Gifting a cat the rose will swap out their friendship stars to hearts, make their name turn pink, and change some of their dialogue. You will start out with 1 heart, and will have to continue to increase your relationship in the same ways you increased their friendship stars. You can date multiple cats at the same time.
Tying the Knot
Get Married
Once you have reached max hearts with a cat you are dating, you can marry them by gifting them a Shiny Trinket, which can be bought at Ember’s shop beginning at Autumn 5 of the first year or crafted at the Mole Forge with 3 diamond + 9 gold ore. Once you gift them the trinket, it will trigger a wedding ceremony officiated by Coco. Unlike dating, you can only marry one cat. If you are dating any other cats when you get married, you will automatically break up with the cats you did not marry, and their relationships will fall to 0 stars.
Bundles of Joy
Have a Litter of Kittens
After getting married and reaching a relationship rank of at least 4 rings with your spouse, there is a chance that, after going to sleep, your spouse will ask about having kittens. Tell them yes, and you will have a litter of four kittens about one season/10 days later. You can only have one litter per save file.
Withered Heart
Purchase a Black Rose
Black Roses can be purchased at any time from Ember’s shop, and are used to break up with a cat that you are dating or married to. You do not need to use the Black Rose for this achievement, simply purchase it and it will trigger.
Matchmaker
Witness a Rival Marriage
Other cats in your colony can fall in love and marry each other, and even have kittens. There are set couples that are able to marry– Alabaster & Fliss, Bob & Buttercup, Elli & Champ, Krampy & Talon, and Sparky & Lainey. You must have high relationships with both cats involved, and you cannot be dating or married to either of them in order to trigger their related cut-scenes. Each couple will have 3 cut-scenes related to their relationships, each with different requirements. Once you have seen all 3 cut-scenes and have very high friendships with them, there is a chance that one of the cats will speak with you about proposing to their other half when you leave the den. Tell them yes to trigger their wedding and get this achievement.
For more information about Rival Marriages and the specific cut-scene requirements, check out the wiki: https://cattails-game.fandom.com/wiki/Rival_Marriages
Farming & Colony Related Achievements
Grow a ★★★ Herb
Unlocking Alabaster will also unlock the Garden Plot, which you can use to plant herbs and flowers to later harvest. Although the achievement says, “herb,” and 3-star plant you grow will count towards this achievement. The guaranteed way to grow a 3-star plant is to use Plant Food on it daily until fully grown. Plant Food can be bought from Alabaster for 1 Mew each, or crafted with 1 voidmarrow, 3 rock debris, or 1 daisy.
Seedy
Grow 50 ★★★ Herbs
See Green Thumb.
Plant Proliferator
Fully Upgrade Your Garden Plot
To upgrade your Garden Plot and add more spaces to plant herbs, you need to purchase the upgrades from Alabaster. There are two in total. The first upgrade costs 250 Mews, while the second one costs 1,000 Mews.
Lend a Paw
Complete a Task
Tasks are small quests the player can complete in exchange for Task Tokens to purchase a variety of items from the Task Shop, even XP, Mews, and Mole Cash. Completing a task will also increase your relationship with the cat that posted it. One task is available per day at the Task Board in your colony, and there is no time limit to complete the tasks. However, they may require items that are seasonal.
Empathy
Complete 20 Tasks
See Lend a Paw.
Abundance
Have a Value of 20 or More in Each Colony Stockpile
Your colony stockpile allows for perks and construction projects to better your colony. The stockpile can be accessed via the Founder’s Stone, and has 6 categories– prey, herbs, treasure, wood, stone, and sand. You can donate to each stockpile or send squads to claim resources to add to each stockpile. The easiest way to increase your stockpile is to deactivate all perks at the Founder’s Stone, as they drain your resources daily, catch/harvest all of the prey/herbs you come across and donate them, and send your squads to claimed areas of the map to harvest the resources found here and increase your stockpile categories.
Standing Army
Unlock All Squad Barracks Construction Projects
There are 3 Barracks construction projects currently available in-game, each increasing your daily available squads by 1. They can be accessed at the Founder’s Stone by clicking “Construction Projects” at the bottom of the screen. Each upgrade costs resources from your stockpile to construct. Upgrade I costs 4 wood, upgrade II costs 12 wood and 8 stone, and upgrade III costs 2 treasure, 16 stone, and 12 sand.
World Domination
Claim Every Possible Map Region for Your Colony
The map of the Wildwood is split up into 49 tiles (regions), with your colony located in the very middle and The Festival Plaza located above that. In order to claim every map region, you must gain influence in each region by completing daily battles and spending time in that region. Your colony and festival plaza are locked at 100% influence, so you must claim the other 47 tiles. The easiest way to tell which regions you have yet to claim is by looking at your map in the pause menu– purple tiles are unclaimed regions. My tip for getting this easily is to complete battles daily, force daily battles by sending squads to unclaimed regions with Talon, and spending time in the regions with a buddy that has the “Renowned” buddy trait to gain influence faster.
Hunting, Foraging & Insect Achievements
Catch 50 Prey
Hunting is introduced in the tutorial as a mechanic that allows the player character to catch prey to feed themselves, donate to the colony stockpile, sell, or use in temple bundles. The easiest and fastest way to get this achievement is simply to catch every prey you come across.
Expert Hunter
Catch 200 Prey
See Novice Hunter.
Veteran Hunter
Catch 500 Prey
See Novice Hunter.
Risky Picking
Defeat 50 Hostile Prey
Hostile prey will attack the player character on sight, and require much more work to take down than regular prey. After pouncing on them or them starting to chase you, they will need at least a few hits to defeat. The hostile prey that I found the most prevalent are crabs, which are located on the beaches at the bottom of the map.
Peerless Prey
Catch a Legendary Prey
Legendary prey have a lower chance of spawning and are typically much harder to find and catch compared to the other types of prey found in the Wildwood. There are currently six legendary prey found in-game—the Barbel, Bluejay, Cardinal, Starling, Turtle, and Weasel. My biggest tip for catching legendary prey is to head to one of the areas that they spawn in. If the prey you are looking for is not there or you fail to catch one, hunt everything that IS there to spawn in another prey. Eventually, a legendary one will spawn in that you can catch.
For more specific information about prey and the locations they can spawn, take a look at the wiki:

Novice Forager
Gather 50 Herbs, Flowers, and Berries
Plants are common to find in the Wildwood, each providing a different benefit when consumed. They grow in several different spots in different seasons. My tip to finding a lot of plants is to equip and use the skill “Botany,” which will show you where all herbs, flowers, and berries in the tile you activate it in.
Expert Forager
Gather 200 Herbs, Flowers, and Berries
See Novice Forager.
Veteran Forager
Gather 500 Herbs, Flowers, and Berries
See Novice Forager.
Cryptic Crawler
Catch a Legendary Bug
Legendary insects spawn much less frequently than other insects in the Wildwood. There are currently 7 legendary insects that can be found in-game– the Blue Ladybug (spawns in spring during the day), the Black Firefly (spawns in summer and autumn at night), the Ghost Beetle (spawns in winter), the Gold Cave Cricket (spawns in the mines), the Lunar Butterfly, the Northern Emerald, and the Rosy Moth. The easiest way to find a legendary bug is simply to explore the different regions of the map during the seasons/times they spawn. Eventually you will find one.
For more specific information about insects, take a look at the wiki:

Mining Achievements
Reach Level 100 of the First Mine
Mining is an mechanic that allows you to excavate for ores and gemstones to use for a variety of different purposes. The first mine is unlocked automatically, and can be accessed via the Mole Cave building in your colony. To reach higher levels, you must break rocks to uncover staircases that lead deeper into the mine. There are checkpoints every 25 levels, so you do not need to complete this all in one run.
Deep Dweller
Reach Level 100 of the Second Mine
See It’s Dark Down Here. After reaching level 100 of the first mine, the second mine will unlock in the Mole Cave.
Adept of the Abyss
Reach Level 100 of the Third Mine
See It’s Dark Down Here. After reaching level 100 of the second mine, the third mine will unlock in the Mole Cave. This is the last mine currently available in-game.
Sparkling Stone
Excavate a Diamond
Diamonds are legendary gemstones that can be found in the mines or purchased from Mold. However, to get this achievement you must collect a diamond from the mines. They typically spawn in the deeper parts of any of the three mines, from about level 75 onward.
Treasure Trove
Excavate 20 Diamonds
See Sparkling Stone
Money Achievements
Have 2,000 Mews on Hand
Mews are the primary currency used by cats in the Wildwood. They can be used at Ember’s Emporium, Alabaster’s Spade and Seed Supply Co., Mold’s Shop, and in den renovation through Molby. The easiest way to collect Mews is to catch or harvest everything you come across, and selling them to Ember.
Mole Friend
Have 2,000 Mole Cash on Hand
Mole Cash is the primary currency used by moles in the Wildwood. They can be used at the shops of Molo, Molu, and Molay in the main area of the mine. The easiest way to collect Mole Cash is to pick up every ore and gemstone you come across while mining, and selling them to any of the moles mentioned before.
Furniture, Accessory & Den Achievements
Unlock a Piece of Furniture
Furniture can be used to decorate your den and for utility purposes. They can be unlocked by purchasing from Ember’s Emporium, the mole shops, the task board, festivals, and by donating curios to Glimmer.
Catalog Collector
Unlock 10 Piece of Furniture

The Cat’s Meow
Unlock 10 Accessories
See Stylish!.
Interior Design
Obtain 200 Total Den Floorplan Tiles
Den Floorplan Tiles unlock extra spaces in your den to add more room to decorate, or to change the layout entirely. To unlock them, you must first summon Molby in your den and choose to renovate your den. Place all of the extra floor plan tiles you have by default, and purchase the rest for 75 Mews each until you have placed 200 in total to get this achievement.
