How to get 100% achievements in Beyond Citadel
Intro & Some Notes
IMPORTANT KINDA
I should note that for a lot of the EX achievements to count I believe you have to complete the level. I haven’t been able to test if pressing ‘return to sanctuary’ works for triggering achievements, so do let me know if that works and I will update this little note :3.
Directions are based on the ‘always north’ map mode that can be toggled with N by default.
1st Step
Beat Act I.
Meet Wen
Found on 1-EX.
Talk to this NPC located directly west of the spawn point.
2nd Hand
Beat Act II.
Super Agent Mirai Chan
Found on 2-EX.
Interact with this plush above the pillar on the south-east side of the arena. You can use the jump pad nearby to get onto the pillar or use the grappling hook mod for the xeta rifle.
3rd Impact
Beat Act III.
Broken Spirit
Found on 3-EX.
Interact with the strange creature on the large bridge directly ahead of you as you spawn. You can use the jump pad on top of the building pictured with the double air dash to get across or use the xeta rifle’s grappling hook mod.
4th Unleashed
Beat Act IV.
Lost Property Of Imperial Armada
Found on 4-EX.
Talk to the crate. The crate can be found next to a switch required to progress in the level and is marked as an NPC on the map, but in case you get lost, progress through the level normally until you reach the area pictured below, then travel all the way east, all the way north and then east again.
5th Victory
Beat Act V.
Say Hello To My Little Friend!
Found on 5-EX.
Interact with the plush on top of the structure in the middle of the arena.
Number Of The Beast
Beat Act VI.
Fallen Angel
Found on 6-EX. Talk to the NPC at the end of the level. Basically unmissable.
7th Virtue
Beat Act VII.
Decendant Of MSX
Found on 7-EX. Interact with the easter egg found in the stage until its head pops.
Can be hard to find, so I’ve attached a video showing the location from spawn.
The Last Dance
Beat the game.
NOTE: This achievement doesn’t seem to count if you immediately go into new game plus after beating the game. Press continue on the main menu after beating the game and wait a second in the intermission stage and it should grant you the achievement.
