Singleplayer achievements part 1
Up to the challenge
If you are new to this game then the “Challenges” equate to the actions required to unlock the campaign’s codex Entries, which also encompasses collecting all Field Manuals in a level.
To view a level’s challenges/codex entries pause the campaign and you will see them to the right of the screen. You can click on each one to view the criteria required to meet them. Once you meet this criteria a codex popup will appear onscreen.
Catching up on some reading
The first available Field Manual is in the mission “Over the Top” in the War Story called “Through Mud and Blood”
I will post a video of all the field manuals once i have it edited.
Up close and personal
The sword is located in the chapter called “Breakdown” in the second War Story “Through Mud and Blood”. It can be done with any melee weapon but with Sword you can unlock more achievements.
Through Mud and Blood
Through Mud and Blood is the first main war story from BF1.
Avanti Savoia!
This takes place during Act 3 of the main single player campaign.
The Runner
This is story related can’t be missed. This is the ACT 4 story in the campaign mode.
Friends in High Places
Can’t be missed, campaign related.
Putting in the effort
To unlock this, simply complete 10 codex entries, these are the little challenges scattered across each mission in the game.

Shock Wave
Can be done in chapter “Through Mud and Blood” When you get kicked out of the tank to scout. You notice a German tent ahead, search the smaller crates for the dynamite and run ahead. There will be about 7 soldiers here. Sneak up and drop the dynamite between them.

You can get this achievement in the chapter called “Breakdown” in the second War Story “Through Mud and Blood”.

Chapter: O La Vittoria
Farina Armor – Defeat 5 enemies with grenades.
When you reach the church there will be mobs of enemies surrounding it. Simply start throwing grenades at the enemies and this will pop very quickly.
The Daring Ones – Join the fight as an arditi elite troop.
This is story based so won’t be missed.

Chapter: O Tutti Accoppati
Where Eagles Dare – Defeat 10 enemies with your sidearm in O Tutti Accoppati.
Beyond Belief – Witness the explosion of the mountain side.

Singleplayer achievement part 2
All men dream
Hidden In Plain Sight
The Hejaz Railway – Scout The Crash Site.
Simply get out your binoculars when the mission starts and look around the entire crash site.
The Bedouin – Find the book without being detected.
Simply use the pull and melee combo by using your shell casing to lure enemies towards you

Young Men’s Work
Gertrude Bell – Kill one of the officers by using a Bolt – Action rifle.
From your spawning area, head over to the weapons depot and inside a tent is a silenced sniper. Inside the building you will find the officer you need to kill so sneak in and headshot him.
T.E. Lawrence – Kill one officer with a melee attack.
When you reach the village you will find the officer inside the building overlooking the radio station. Sneak in and melee him.
Tanks In The Desert – Kill one of the officers by using a tank.
Head over to the ruins now and you will be able to grab one of the two tanks. When inside a tank enemies don’t notice you so drive around and look for the general.
Women Rise – Collect all field manuals. Video will be posted soon
Hear The Desert
Desert Cars – Destroy the three vehicles while undetected.
When there is only the juggernaut left, run around and find some dynamite in chest’s and throw one on each car then just hit the trigger and it’ll unlock.
Planes above the sand – Keep at least 2 field guns operational.
Do not touch field guns, rather use a sniper so the train will aggro on you not on the guns.
Guerilla Warfare – Collect all field manuals. Video will be posted soon
Arab Revolt – Finish the nothing is written campaign.

Chapter: Cape Helles
The Big Guns – Call in an offshore barrage.
Story related
Torpedo Exploit – Get 10 headshot kills.

Chapter: The Runner
Drip Gun – Defeat 10 enemies with a sidearm.
From where you start go to the opposite side of the house on your left and you will find a pistol in a chest.
Geology – Defeat 5 enemies with rifle grenades.
Head to the far right of where you spawn near some artillery guns and pick up the the gun

Chapter: Be Safe
River Clyde – Defeat 5 enemies with grenades.
Self explanatory
Sedd El Bahr – Defeat 10 enemies with melee attacks.
If you put the game mode on easy you can quickly run around the starting area and get these 10 kills in about a minute.

War Story: Through Mud And Blood
Chapter: Over The Top
Tank Shock – Collect all field manuals.
Observation Balloons – Kill 5 enemies while on foot.
German Anti-Tank Tactics – Destroy all field guns. There are 36 Field guns in this mission. Video of their locations will be posted soon
Chapter: Fog Of War
Guiding Bess – Get through the forest without being detected.
To get this one you need to make your way through the entire Forrest area without being detected.
Forest Combat – Get through the forest without any melee kills.
This one can be done by simply running and gunning through the areas, just don’t kill any enemies with melee. This will cancel out ‘Guiding Bess’.

Chapter: Breakdown
Stealing Tanks – Retrieve all the engine components undetected in breakdown.
To get this Codex Entry you will need to enter the town and retrieve all 4 Spark Plugs from the dismantled tanks without being spotted. This is actually very easy if you know enemy patrol patterns since they don’t change all that much.
Tank Hunters – Retrieve the first engine component in breakdown.
Can’t be missed
Aircraft Support – Collect all field manuals. Video will be posted soon
Chapter: Steel on Steel
Bourlon Wood – Don’t let the tank get damaged before clearing the village.
Beutepanzers – Destroy one of the captured Mark V tanks.
Mark V tanks are the big tanks that you will see in this mission. When you drive down a hill you will see 2 light tanks and 1 heavy tank (The heavy tank is Mark V)

Towrads Cambrai – Complete through mud and blood.

War Story: Friends In High Places
Chapter: Test Flight
To Be Ace – Finish the target practice in test flight.
Can’t be missed
The Dicta Boelcke – Don’t lose the trail during the chase in test flight.
A circle will pop on the screen, don’t loose it or it will fail and you have to reload checkpoint
Chapter: Total War
Strategic Bombing – Destroy the fort in Total War.
Can’t be missed
Bloody April 1917 – Have at least four bombers survive a bombing run in Total War.
Do not attack the planes like Wilson tells you. Run down and destroy the anti air trucks as these will cause alot of damage to your bombers.
Chapter: Fall From Grace
No Man’s Land – Reach no man’s land undetected in Fall From Grace.
Booby Traps – Use tripwire bombs to kill 2 enemies in Fall From Grace.
From the start area follow the road and you will find a box that has trip-mine granade inside it. When you go forward there are 2 guys near a fire. Sneak up behind them and plant a trip-mine at each of their feet and then run.
France – Defending Home – Collect all field manuals in Fall From Grace. Video will be posted soon
Chapter: Forte et fidele
Gotha Raids on London – Take down the bombers in Forte et fidele.
Can’t be missed
Airborne Cannons – Destroy 10 aircraft within 30 seconds using the stationary weapon in Forte et fidele.
Can take many tries since it depends how planes react to you.
Jousting With Dragons – Collect the Field Manual in Forte et fidele. Video will be posted soon
Dawn of Dogfights – Complete Friends In High Places.

Multiplayer Achievements part 1
Counter-sniper
The Scout class in Multiplayer has a bolt-action rifle unlocked by default, so kill an enemy scout with it and you’ll earn this achievement!
Warbonds
You will get this just from leveling in MP, it should pop around level 7.
You can see how many Warbonds you currently have by going to Soldier then Weapons & Gadgets in the Main Menu.
Corporal
Pretty straight forward:
Things to note:
-Staying in a tank will help greatly.
-Spawning on squad when they are capturing the flags will also give you points.
-Play assault kit, its has great anti-tank capability ( good for flag areas )
-Playing in a good squad will grand you high squad bonuses at the end of the match.
It will take roughly ~6 hours depending how well you play.
Play the Objective

Corporal
Only the squad leader can set orders. You can get this solo by creating your own squad rather than joining an existing one.
Serve With Honor
Under the “Soldier” tab in the main menu is a section for Service Assignments. Track and complete any assignment to get the achievement.

Multiplayer achievements part 2
Saint Chamond Operator
You can be German or French. Select the home base before you spawn. Then select tank icon as spawn option and start killing.
Drei Vier Grenadier
The Trench Raider is the new elite class and it’s melee focused.
It does not spawn in the new game mode Frontlines so play Conquest or Operations which is easier.
The Power in These Waters
The L-class destroyer is not a dreadnought/behemoth, it’s more like a sophisticated variant of the torpedo boat used frequently to destroy enemy dreadnoughts on maps such as Fao Fortress.
The L-class destroyer has 4 different seats, you can get progress towards the achievement with a kill from any of the seats, only 1 L-class destroyer can be deployed at 1 time.
Charged into Battle
This can be achieved on any map that let’s you spawn as a Cavalry (Horse icon).
Rough Seas
The best map for the Achievement “Rough Seas” is currently Kap Helles. You should play as british royal marines and use a “Speed Gunboat”
Flyswatter
Take “Air Assault” and map “London Calling” spawn in the Airship. Shoot 5 planes out of the air and achievement will pop.
Advanced Studies
The Livens Projector is a weapon built into the new maps. It looks like rows of pipes sticking out of the ground at an angle. Next to it will be a plunger/denonator to use the weapon. You can use it once every 2 min, and it fires at the nearby objective.
