Complete and spoiler-free guide for Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. This guide is for those who wish to 100% the steam achievements or those who need a gentle push in the right direction on a segment that has them stumped.Based on the guides created by Rezareth
Introduction
Depending on when you see this guide, I either already have the Ace Attorney Investigations Collection guides up or I am currently working on them. This is my next main AA series guide directly after Trials & Tribulations, even though I probably have a few guides released for the spin-offs by this point.
Gonna ham it up a little here, the Apollo Justice: Trilogy are my all time favorite games in the series. I love all the characters, the story is amazing, the cases are fun, yadda yadda, I could talk FOREVER about these games, but you’re not here for rambling, you’re here for the guide!
Disclaimers and Important Things to Note
- I play the Ace Attorney games on mouse and keyboard, so I will be operating my guides by that medium. If you play on controller, just press the appropriate controller button!
- If you are going for 100% achievements, DO NOT PLAY THE GAME IN STORY MODE! Story Mode is essentially just an automatic playthrough, so a lot of achievements are disabled (including story-based ones. Play the game manually!)
- I will include any gameplay tips in the solution guide, such as keystrokes that make the menus transition smoother
- I will include sections for each Chapter based achievement. I will also go into detail about where you need to go for each achievement in its proper Solution chapter, so don’t worry about needing to use the Achievement section for keeping track!
- This game collection has an Accolades section in the Special Contents. You can check all of your progress for multi-part achievements in that section, making it way easier to see what you’re missing for the achievement.

You will now be introduced to the unique mechanic for Apollo Justice; Perception. Perception, or just Perceive as it’s called in game, is a mechanic that requires you to pay attention to body language, not spoken words. Sometimes when a witness is giving testimony, their movements will slightly change, causing you to Perceive this change using your keen eyes and your golden bracelet. Consider Perception to be the same as noticing a tell. If someone is lying and you think something about their body/sprite is a little different, Perceive them. The first Perceive will be done for you, but after that you’ll be on your own!

2. During Part 3, you will engage in a footprint analysis minigame.

Nothing to do here but watch the rest of the story unfold. Congrats on completing Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney!
Conclusion
I wanted to have this guide up way sooner, but so many games came out that I was looking forward to, so by the time I managed to free up some time to wrap up this guide, it was already the end of 2024! I hope to finish DD and SOJ before 2026, so I have to ask that you all be a bit more patient with me….
Anywho, the Apollo Justice trilogy are my all time favorite games of the series. I love nearly every character that came from this trilogy, and Apollo unironically feels like the most fleshed out character of the series due to all of the cases that seem to focus on him and his family. (Though I admittedly always disliked how Apollo always seemed to get the short end of the stick and the worst possible trauma, but I digress)
Thanks for being patient, and keep an eye out for the next guide for Dual Destinies! As always, don’t be afraid to post comments, commentary, tips and tricks, or just tell me how you feel about the game/cases! I try to reply to every comment, and if I miss one, just know I always read them!
See you guys on the next one!
