Are you struggling to complete Another Chance to 100%? While the game may not be difficult, it can become tiresome. This guide will help you find the most efficient route to save time and avoid unnecessary backtracking.
Terminology and hints
The game is a death loop game, that much is apparent. In order to differentiate between each death’s “contents”, I’ll use the term cycle to talk about the period of time up until one death takes place. So if the player hasn’t died yet, that means they’re in Cycle 1. After their first death, they’ll be in Cycle 2, etc etc. The guide will be
Furthermore, the game offers the feature of removing items from your inventory. Do not remove any of the items you pick up, or else you might need to redo some of the parts in this guide.

Cycle 1
High ground
At any point while still in Taiki’s house, you can climb on top of the TV table to trigger a secret dialogue. Why not try it right at the start? 😉
Most important meal
Story related. Received after finishing breakfast.
Cycle 2
Rude awakening
Story related. After you get hit by a car and wake up again, finishing the dialogue will give you this achievement.
Before moving on, pick up the gold blue tie at the right side of the bed. You’ll need it for two further achievements.
Gentleman
Make sure you picked up the tie before interacting with Naomi at the door. If you did, interacting with her will give you this achievement.
Before going to the city
Remember the car you just avoided? After you see it drive past you, go to the left from the store, and you’ll find the car crash. Interacting with the car will give you the crowbar. You’ll need this for later.
Roadblock
At the roundabout with the giant blue crystal, go north. Go far enough and a dialogue window will pop up, which will grant you the achievement.
A toast, to the end of the world
Moving farther south and avoiding the patrolling alien, you’ll see an NPC vandalising a vending machine. Assuming you picked up the crowbar, interacting with him and helping him will grant you this achievement. Hikaru will also give you a key.
Packed to the brim
After receiving the key from Hikaru, go to the right and open the doors to the park. Follow the pavement until reaching the middle. You’ll notice a small bottle of sake on the ground. Picking it up will grant you this achievement. You’ll need the sake further down the line, too.
Death’s emmissary
Continuing to the right, you’ll end up at the entrance of a park, with two aliens patrolling. Avoid them and you’ll arrive in a big open area. Take the left and keep to the lower side of the street. You’ll encounter the corpse of a woman. Interact with it to finish the first step of this achievement.
Go back down through the park, then keep left. You’ll notice an NPC in front of a big house. Interacting with him will reveal that he’s the husband of the deceased woman. Tell him about his wife and you’ll receive the achievement.

Drown down the sorrow
Assuming you have the sake, you will be prompted to give it to Midori. Giving it to him will grant you this achievement. You will also receive the first aid kit.
Loremaster part 1
If you’re having trouble progressing to the final area, you have to interact with Naomi’s workplace by walking up to it. You can find it below the bridge, above the park where the two aliens patrol.
Once you reach the final area of the game where Naomi can be found, go up the steps of the temple. You’ll find a crouching alien. Assuming you have the first aid kit from Midori, healing the alien and talking to him will progress a later achievement.

End of Cycle 2
If you’ve done everything according to this guide, you should find Naomi lying dead on the ground. Take your own life to move on to Cycle 3.
Cycle 3
One less worry
Continue with the game as per usual, but stop at the elderly neighbor watering his plants. Talk to him and ask him to stay indoors for a few hours and choose the option to not show him the alien artifact.
Loremaster part 2
Continue with the game while paying attention to complete all optional objectives and acquire the first aid kit again. You can save some time by not having to interact with Ayano’s corpse, since Taiki already knows what happened. The same goes for Naomi’s workplace. Interacting with Javara, healing him and continuing your conversation with him will grant you this achievement.
Chance not taken
Assuming you talked to and healed Javara again, you should find Naomi dead on the ground again. Giving up on saving her will grant you this achievement.
Reunited again
Go back to the main menu and load your save. It should be marked with a star, since you technically already reached an ending. However, the game is saved when switching areas, so you’ll spawn at the beginning of the last area. Go towards where Naomi is, and you’ll find her alive and well. Simply talking will grant you this achievement.
Full circle part 1
Go back to the main menu and load your save again. Go up the stairs of the temple and heal and talk to Javara again. Continue with the game normally, but this time around, take your own life again.
Cycle 4
Full circle part 2
In Cycle 4, you’ll no longer respawn in Taiki’s house, but at the start of the city. For this achievement, go back to Taiki’s house and enter the bedroom.
