As by now you may know, one of the many challenges in this game is planning the buildings and the general outline of your cult. The aim of this guide is to help you make these decisions in a cost-efficient way. Prepare in advance for picky cult members and leader expectations so you won’t get thrown under the rug! This guide only contains the member rooms and module rooms so far, but if you like this guide, I can include specialty rooms too :)If you have any questions or you’re missing info, let me know in the comment section and I’ll include it in the guide 🙂
Introduction
The aim of this guide is to help you make these decisions in a cost-efficient way. Prepare in advance for picky cult members and leader expectations so you won’t get thrown under the rug!
If you are absolutely clueless as to where to start, here’s my construction as a whole for guidance (from left to right). I’m on day 115 at the moment, so this is pretty much tested. 🙂
Lobby and Recruitment Office
On a side note: it’s also a perfect place to have a random toilet for your members!
Recommended room dimensions (without walls):
- Lobby: 7×8
- Recruitment Office: 7×4
Bathrooms and Bedrooms
Bedrooms are enough to be 3×8 (excluding walls), bathrooms can be 3×6 (excluding walls). You won’t be able to have a full (20) prestige with these sizes, but for a long game these will make it.
Don’t worry if you don’t have enough toilets and showers, but do limit their number to 1 per bathroom. Not all members will use them at the same time.
IMPORTANT: to make sure nobody spoils themselves, have multiple bathrooms in each side of your territory!
Also note, have a separate room for your leader. This will also become a member need at some point.
Meditation Studio
I found 11×10 (without walls) to be efficient and spacey enough until the end game.
House of Spod
Room size should be 14×9, that way you can also get the full prestige achievement, too with the special ornaments that will come along the way. An idea for an outline that worked for me is this:
Spirit Chamber
Kitchen and Canteen
Have a smaller and a larger one prepared so all 24 members of your cult can have their well-deserved treat at lunchtime.
Larger one: 11×9 (without walls)
Small one: 9×8 (without walls)
You can also see my blue kitchen with the smaller canteen. You will only need one kitchen, no need to have more, as canteens don’t depend on any food transportation from kitchens.
Kitchen diameters: 5×9 (without walls)
Maintenance room
With all upgrades and some decoration, a 9×4 dimension room (without walls) is absolutely sufficient.
Energy Spa
Research Office
Since I had three members work at the office 24/7, I placed this room amongst living quarters, the recreational room and one of the canteens, so workers there will have everything within an arms reach and can research more effectively.
Maggot Rejuvenation Therapy
