If you want to obtain all achievements in one run, this is your guide. It won’t hold your hand when exploring the regions, but it will provide information on the gerenal location and requirements of everything you might be looking for.
Introduction
I’ve ordered this guide by the regions (maps) you visit in my recommended order. I list every quest, item and achievement you can obtain there, with a short description of their location and price, when applicable. At the bottom of each list, I indicate whether you have to return to that region after a certain story event or after particular conditions are met.
I will use several abbreviations to mark content that you automatically unlock/collect as part of the story progression (P), that belongs to side quests (Q), or that has specific requirements (R). For directions, I will use north (N), east (E), south (S), west (W) and combinations thereof.
(1) One of the achievements can become unobtainable. If you want to avoid missing it, here’s a spoiler-free hint: When a new-found ally/friend begs you to help free his comrades, don’t keep him waiting.
However, you can also start a second save file and obtain it within 10 minutes or so, so don’t worry about it.
(2) One Idol will relocate at a certain point of the main story, but you won’t have to look far from its original place.
General Advice
Do buy/collect Red Leather Pouches, as additional slots for your crests are very useful.
Maybe buy crests and stat upgrades. These can be very costly and, depending on your playstyle, some crests are just not worth the investment. At least the first stat upgrades of each should be affordable and prioritized, however.
Make use of idols/arena challenges for training. You can test different crest combinations, secret techniques and get used to different enemy types without risking to waste tea, since your gourd will replenish automatically and at no cost.
Keep your eyes open for Dojos. This is a more expensive training than the arena challenges, since you have to replenish your tea after every try, but you get access to powerful new techniques.

I hope this guide was helpful to you. I’m sorry for not providing interactive/marked maps, but after writing up everything, I have to admit that I was too exhausted to continue. Cheers to you, and if you make it to 100%, as well, please leave a positive review for the game so other people might deem this game worth their while 🙂

Here are the locations and contents of the five Stone Tablets that you have to interact with for Toshi’s Q “The Monk’s Studies”:
- W of where Eikichi asks you for help.
At first, silence reigned, serene and pure. From heavens fell rain, for life to endure.
Volcanoes birthed lands, earth‘s foundation secure. There, thrived plants and creatures matured.
People, wild yet, gained consciousness‘s allure. Dreams were set, with meanings obscure.
Baku, river lord, proffered streams so sure. For dreams, made an accord, their water secured. - W of the second brazier.
People ventured forth, where waters streamed. Arriving at shores, ocean‘s bounty gleamed.
The plenty, shared in mirth, then scream. Namazu, sea lord, wrathfully steamed.
Nightly hordes by giant fish were sent. Terrifying dreams with ocean‘s regime.
Baku sensed, something amiss was seen. A warning, in these nightmares, esteemed. - At the location of the Ironclad Mercenary Idol.
Moved for humans‘ plight, within solar eclipse realm, Baku emerged, leaving rivers‘ gentle flow.
Namazu‘s wrath he faced, in a courageous helm, expelling the sea lord‘s vengeful throw.
Shielding his kin from this devastating whelm, Baku became mortal, humans’ friend in tow.
Thus, in a land named Bakugawa, overwhelmed, He guides the good, his influence aglow. - At the location of your fight against Toshi.
Atop sharp cliffs Baku demands, to the sky baring his fangs, heavens made way to allow light‘s ray.
River lord revered, throughout the realm he stands, Baku left descendants to lead Bakugawa sway.
A sect arose, worshiping his lineage bands. They represent Sun and Moon, night and day.
Monks and Shinobis, their devoted hands, Reside within this order, by Baku‘s array. - At the location of the Sun Monk Exile Idol.
Monks, Sun‘s envoy, raised the Temple‘s height. Journeying to impart wisdom in village sphere.
Unlike Baku, who reads dreams in the night, They guard against Namazu‘s menazing leer.
Shinobis, Moon‘s shadow, wield covert might. In palaces and alleys, their influence clear.
Thus, Bakugawa thrives, under their guiding light. In shadows and rays, its destiny sincere.
Once again, you have to interact with them in order to progress the Q.
