Haunt the Swamp (achievement)
Keep an eye out for this little ghostie to get an achievement!
Draw a cute ghost in your notebook.
Chapter ONE [12 of 36]
Talk to the little girl, she’ll give you a map of Boggy’s Bog.
Click on the Boggy’s Bog sign, the statue of Boggy, and the photo standee. [3]
Move to the Crossroad.
Click on the base of the tree, and the hollow part in the center of the tree. [2]
Continue left to reach the Protest.
Click on the flower petals on the path, the tent behind Echo’s is locked with a combinationmatching the roman numerals on the poster in the Museum[2]
Move to the Clearing.
Click on the overgrown path in the trees on the left. [1]
Continue left to the Outside Office.
Click on the footprints, the curtains of the office, and the chalk outline on the wooden path. [3]
Examine the crime scene.
Click on the long grass by the footprints to collect apair of green flippers.
Click on the bubbles in the swamp, and do a puzzle to collect alockpick.
Click on the Office to try and enter, but the door is locked. We must find a key.
Return to the Clearing, and ignore Bobby Burle and Vincent van de Peer. It’ll be easier to talk to most characters once all of the speech options are unlocked.
Continue to the Café.
Click on the garbage bin to find theBoggy costume design[1]
Chapter TWO [12 of 36]
Once in the Office, click on the desk with spilt ink. Rearrange the papers to read the letters.
Read the letters on Remington’s desk.
Back out from the desk, and click on the owl-looking head above the fireplace, the shelves, the mess on the floor, and the window with curtains.
Be sure to interact with the fireplace poker beside the shelves. [5]
You should now have all speech options to talk to everyone, and be able to collect every clue around the map. Return to the Clearing again.
Talk to Van-de-Peer, and exhaust all conversation. Hisrecorded footagewill be added to your clues, and can be used to challenge Bobby Burle .
Talk to Bobby Burle, and exhaust all conversation. Hisphoto of Boggywill be added to your clues, and can be used to challenge Van-de-Peer. Don’t forget to challenge Bobby!
Go back to challenge Vincent, then go South to the Protest.
Talk to Echo the protester, and exhaust all conversation.
Continue through the Crossroad, to the Gift Shop.
Talk to Sally, then search the Gift Shop wagon, focusing on Boggy hats and plushie. [3]
There is also an achievement for examining every item:
- Plushie
- Baseball Cap
- Mug
- Shirt
- Photo of Boggy
- Photo of Boggy’s Swamp
- Map of Boggy’s Swamp
- Costume head
Examine all the Boggy merchandise.
Talk to Sally again, and exhaust all conversation. Ask her about Echo, and she’ll give you information that can be used to challenge Echo. Herblack leggings will be added to your clues.
Continue to the Café. Click on the trashcan, the door on the ship, and the café sign. [3]
Talk to Harper, and exhaust all conversation. His information unlocks a challenge for himself. Challenge him, and hisSwamp Juicewill be added to your clues.
Ask Harper about the hunting photo, the fireplace poker, and the hunting rifle.
Continue to the Bridge, and click on the strange little house, then enter it. [1]
Chapter THREE [12 of 36]
Talk to Weybridge, and exhaust all conversation. Herbook of flowers will be added to your clues. You will also gain access to her Chemistry Set. Test all of your clues containingSwamp Slime, which will unlock a challenge for Sally.
Backtrack to the Gift Shop and ask Sally aboutthe hunting photo.
Challenge her, and herWind-up Toywill be added to your clues.
Return to the Bridge, and then continue left to the Woods.
Talk to the little girl from the Café.
Click on the reeds, then the bubbles in the water. [2]
Solve the puzzle to find thefootprints.
Continue left to the Path.
Click on the Boggy bust on the Museum’s roof, and the side doorsurrounded by flowers[2]
Continue into the Museum.
Click on the shelf with the gloves, andmatch them to collect them.
Click the book and plaque below it, the door, Museum poster, and Boggy poster (“recorded by”), which also hasthe code to Echo’s tent(1934)[4]
Talk to Folder, and exhaust the conversation. His information unlocks a challenge for himself.
Ask him aboutEcho, the hunting photo, the costume design, the gloves, the flippers, and the Boggy photo.
Challenge him, and hisFolder’s Filewill be added to your clues.
Backtrack to the Treehouse, and ask Weybridge aboutthe Explorer’s Journal, which will unlock a challenge for herself. Challenge her, and hermissing pageswill be added to your clues.
Return to the Protest, and challenge Echo.
Click on Echo’s tent. Unlock the padlock with the code you found in the Museum.(1934)[1]
Get inside the tent.
Collect thejournalinside.
Ask him aboutthe hunting photo, Harper, Remington, Boggy, and Agent Folder.
After talking to Echo, Grimoire will say it’s time to talk to the Officer on the Swamp Dock.
While walking to the dock, you should encounterthe little girl from the Woodsin the Crossroad. Talking to her for the last time will give you an achievement.
Finish speaking to the Little Girl.
End Game *spoilers*
HOWEVER, there are achievement based on your clue collection, and suspects page.
The first requires not having suspicion towards any suspects, other than the culprit, in your suspect page. The true culprit isEcho, the protester!
Full suspicion on the culprit, none on anyone else.
UNMISSABLE: Simply finish the game, and watch to the end of the credits.
Complete the game.
This achievement is the same as above, except you’ve collected every clue and note from exploring!
