A comprehensive step-by-step guide on how to get all Steam trophies for the first Shenmue game.
Introduction
I’m Eerie[linktr.ee] and welcome to another one of my guides.
This one is still rather unfinished, but I’ve decided to upload it anyway, because I plan on updating it frequently.
I will describe through bullet points all the steps taken each day of the first Shenmue game in order to get all achievements. My preferred type of guides are through objective bullet points instead of videos or long texts, so I hope you like this text format.
I’m planning on updating this guide by adding one in-game day, in a daily basis, until completion.
I’m following the exact same route that Youtuber Aussie Gamer 17 took for this run. The only difference is that i’m converting it into text instead of videos.
Disclaimer & Tips:
- When I mention “talk to someone” in the guide, I usually mean to talk to a character until all the dialogue has been exhausted, even if I forget to mention it.
- I’m following the exact same route that Youtuber Aussie Gamer 17 took for this run. The only difference is that i’m converting it into text instead of videos (I prefer to follow text guides rather than video guides);
- I probably will tell you to go to certain places without explaining where exactly they are. That’s because I’m assuming you already know your way around the game. If you don’t, there’s a maps section in the end of this guide to get acquainted to;
- This is probably not the most optimal/efficient route, but it works for getting all trophies.
- Press P if you need to pause the game (and the in-game clock) while reading this guide. I wouldn’t advise reading this guide with the game running since you can miss out on closed shops/time-specific events or places;
- Every time you get an achievement, I add the % progression of getting all 28 achievements for the first Shenmue in this guide.
- When I say “you should hear the chimesound” I mean that sound in the game which indicates that your notebook has been updated.
- Feel free to leave any feedback – I’m always open to listen to your words and improve my guides. Have fun!
