Summum Aeterna: How to ascend all weapons

Greetings everyone. This is my first guide, so don’t be too harsh on me and because I haven’t found a complete guide about all the ascension recipes, I thought of creating one. Most of the information is tested by me, some I already got before I made the plan to create this guide (the ones you get by regularly playing through the game). if some of the information is incomplete or if you have questions, just leave a comment, hopefully I can answer them!

The Summum skill from some weapons are only unlocked at the dummy, if you first ascend them with their recipe and find them afterwards in a run (or leveling them up in a King’s Forge Influenced seed). You also just have to see them f.e. in a shop, you don’t have to buy them. (For the people who go for the achievements regarding all Relic rarity weapons and Ascended weapons)

Sawtooth Edge: On the Dummy/Scarecrow make 100% crit rate with gems and hit the dummy a few times

Master Sword: Dropped by Killing enemies with that weapon. (I also read from other people that you have to kill as many enemies as possible without taking damage)

Venom: On the Dummy/Scarecrow put gems for all status alignments on the sword and hit the Dummy a few times.

Executor: Dropped by Killing enemies with that weapon.

Parasite Blade: Obtained on a random dark enemy, on a 6 stars Seed, in a shadow room.

Falcon: On the Dummy/Scarecrow choose the Falcon blade and hit the bird, that sits on the roof right next to the dummy on the right side. It’s a falcon bird.

Jade Katana: You have to find the Master in the Village, then you have to talk to him in the city and after that you have to find him on the second map in the village again with the Jade Katana equipped.
I don’t know the exact series of the events, but something like what I described is what I did.
Inquisitor: Equip a complete set of the Knight of the Order set, then you will have a small chance to get the ascension from killing random enemies.

Corrupt Bloodline: With the weapon equipped, find the (!) room in the Dark Castle level.

Hangman Spirit: I’m not entirely sure, but I got the blueprint after killing 4-5 enemies at once with the special attack/execute (right click on Keyboard+Mouse). It would be helpful to have a seed with more enemy spawns for that.

Withering: I played through one level with the Withering Scythe. After that the Gnome (Seed Expert Yado) in the City where you put the seeds in will talk to you (I had the Scythe in hand while talking with him, don’t know if it’s necessary). Finishing that Quest will give you the Ascension.
(Plant seed and feed it with Saps three times, you have to do runs in between.)

Healer Reaper: Equipping it the first time, the scythe talks to you and says which 3 bosses (Dantilus, Umehara, Xander) you have to kill to get the ascension. Doesn’t have to be in the same seed. Kill them with the Healer Reaper Scythe equipped.

Agony: With the weapon equipped, find the (!) room in the Dark Castle second level.

The Plague: I don’t know exactly how to unlock Caleb, but after killing the third Boss and the Endboss with the Plague Scythe I unlocked the “annoying Roommate” Caleb and he is giving you the hint “I hope you take down the final boss of a seed using that pandemic seed”.

Touch of Death: With the weapon equipped go to the Death Roulette and hit the green field.

Mantis Claw: With the weapon equipped, find the (!) room in the Hyperborea second level. There you have to survive the attacks of some mantis.

Anathema: Dropped by killing enemies with that weapon. (I got it in the Dark Castle Level, but I think it’s random)

Mothers Gift: Equipped with that weapon you have to fight one or a few of the followers from the Shrine of Idalith. After that you get a message with the ascension immediately.

Incendiary: Equipped with that weapon you have to find the room with the (!) in the frost region (Hyperborea) with the ice pillar.

Gunpowder: Dropped by Killing enemies with that weapon.

Bloodsucker: Random drop by killing enemies with that weapon. I was in the Japanese Village Level. (Hayaikaze)

Quadcannon: In a special Room (!) in the Port of Venitia Region you get a quest with mechanical parts that lie in your house in the city afterwards. You have to kill the enemies, that are small men with a barrel on the back that are throwing elemental bombs to get the parts for the mechanical thing. After finishing it you get the ascension.

Laser Rifle: With the special attack hit multiple enemies at once.

Devastator: I killed a Hand of Chaos Miniboss in a chaos influenced Seed. I had to kill many of them, so I think that it has a random chance to drop from the Hand of Chaos.

Taser Gun: Dropped by Killing enemies with that weapon.

Argentum: Killing Xander (Boss of Dark Castle) with it

Double Long Colt: Buy Seeds from the Seed Seller, he only appears at night after some runs.

Frost Hydra: Dropped by Killing enemies with that weapon. (I did it in the frost region/Hyperborea. Don’t know if that is relevant)

Jibaro: With the weapon equipped, find the (!) room in the Dark Castle first level.

Dragon’s Claw: Dropped by Killing enemies with that weapon.

Retro Controller: When you kill enemies with that weapon, you get power ups. At some point it will drop the ascension.

Basaltic Golem: Die with that weapon equipped.

Auryn: Killing enemies with the spores that are in the world, when you are holding the weapon. It’s a random drop, I guess. (Hyperborea)

Typhoon: Killing the Boss of the Hayaikaze Village with it. (I did it hitless, but I assume you don’t have to do it that way)

Elven Lyre: While carrying this weapon I got on the second level of the Eclipse Citadel and found a musician standing there. He gave me the ascension recipe. I don’t know if the location is relevant.

Holy Scriptures: Using up your second Chance (Guardian Angel) while holding the weapon. (Hyperborea)
