All anomalies, achievements and collectables as well as a basic know how and some tips.
Introduction
It will be done within a week, maybe just a few days.
I will remove the work in progress status when its complete.
This guide contains spoilers to locations and other things that you might want to discover for yourself first before going further. Are you sure you gave it your best already?
If No turn back with your twin tails between your legs and sweat it some more, you can do this!
If Yes, proceed!
Minor trigger warning: the game has a few jumpscares
The ‘just tell me what to do in 3 lines but without spoilers’ pls
Go to the end of the door in the hallway to lvl 1 and start looking for out of place anomalies from now on. Go forward if you think there is none, go backward if you think there is. If you guess wrong and go backward when there is no anomaly up, you go bk to lvl 0 and start over.
Collect all 6 items (4 pieces of gear, a handle and the hangar door codes), go through the hangar door if clear of anomalies, follow new instructions and use items, escape. High Five yourself.
Ok fine 9 lines.
How does it work? What do I do?
They reported anomalies started happening before disappearing and its your job to try escape all 8 lvls and navigate safely through the station to Hangar 8, where you can hopefully escape and fly away.
The first lvl 0 is your starting point, there are no anomalies on this lvl.
Use this lvl to familiarise yourself with where everything is and how it looks.
This is not something you get right the first 5 times while there, but constantly refresh your memory off and learn as you go along. Many hours later I still had to refresh my memory!
What the anomalies can be and what they cant be I mention further down, but I strongly urge you to give this a try yourself first and figure it out yourself, before looking up solutions.
After all, thats what anomaly hunting is and the challenge while sometimes appearing impossible, might not be if you just give it a few more tries and look more closely.
There are 8 lvls with a total of 50 anomalies and to advance to the next lvl that lvl must be clear of anomalies before you move through the door in the end of the coridor.
- If you move forward and there is no anomaly up, then you will gain a lvl.
If you move forward and there is an anomaly up, then you will loose 1 lvl.
If you have played other similar anomaly games you might be used to a full reset on this part. - If you find an anomaly, or think you do, then you need to backtrack and move back to your starting point with the Hangar 8 sign, turn right and go through that door instead.
If you guessed right and there was an anomaly present, you will gain 1 lvl up.
But if you guessed wrong you will loose all lvls and start back from lvl 0!
If you are unsure and simply cant find anything, its safer to go forward than backward so you only loose 1 lvl vs all. - When you have done all this right and finally arive at the hangar only slightly cross eyed, follow the new objective instructions and escape the station. Further details on all this further down if you need more help for this part.
Note that you need all 6 items collected to be able to get past the hangar door. They are easy enough to find as you go along.
Also note that once you get to lvl 8 you will still need to make sure its clear of anomalies before going through the hangar door. So you will need to take another sweep and only go through the hangar door if its safe and clear. If lvl 8 is clear, then you move back to the hangar door instead of the usual forward, and through it.
If it turns out it wasnt clear, then you will loose a lvl and you need to try again same as before.
Basic Info and Tips
From the menu screen you can click Extra and see ur stats and anomaly tracker.
There are 2 anomaly modes.
All Anomalies ON means that the anomalies will spawn without any order and can be duplicates, meaning you can get the same anomaly twice.
All anomalies OFF means that you wont see the same anomaly twice untill you have cycled through all 50. This is the default setting and the one I would personally also recommend.
You will need to exit the game and reload it to see this screen, as there is no ‘exit to menu’ posible because of how its designed.
When you first start out and dont know any of the anomalies yet, it can easily take an hour to make the first escape attempt.
The game saves after each lvl tho, so you can take breaks and continue the next day if you want.
Once familiar with all or most of them, you can make the escape in ~15 min.
There is also a speedrun challenge to make it within this timeframe.
The setting is dark and you depend on your flashlight.
There are no anomalies that are only visible if you turn it off, but almost all of them are only fully visible if you have it turned on.
Sometimes its helpful to turn it off briefly for a few of them especially when pearing through the windows, as well as with a few lighting related ones.
But generally speaking I advice you to always have it on.
You are on a huge station as mentioned and lots of movement is involved.
Once familiar enough with the game and how it works, use your sprint option to your advantage where you know, or strongly suspect, anomalies cant spawn.
I mention further down with spoiler tags where and what it all is if you want hints for convenience and time saving.
Important Tips and Questions Answered
A few things worth mentioning for convenience and time saving and to clear up some possible confusion and missed anomalies because of player error.
Some spoilers here dressed in black about certain anomalies and collectables in this section, consider yourself warned.
- The door to hydroponics is locked. How do I get in there?
You cant. Stop trying. Give up! That doesnt mean you should ignore the room though. - If I sprint too much without pausing and looking around will I miss anomalies?
Absolutely yes - Are some anomalies only/mostly visible from certain direction/angle?
Yes! But only a few - Is some anomalies dependent on crouching?
No - Can I listen to music while playing without missing anomalies?
Loud music No. A few anomalies are sound related, one is imposible to detect if you cant hear it (its loud enough tho) and a few others will be hard or near imposible to detect if you have no sound on at all, and maybe also sprint past its trigger point at the wrong time.
Quiet music should work though.– There is a lot of boxes throughout the station, some I can open and some I cant.
- Can I open the locked boxes? No
- I found equipment gear in some of them but now nothing else ever spawns in them. Do I need to keep opening them in case something else spawn in them or can I skip this and save some time?
Yes but with some explanation.
If you have found all 4 pieces of armor (not all spawn in chests) then you dont need to open all for this and you can skip the crew quarter ones completely.
However 1 anomaly is only visible if you open the ones at the Science Lab and they are tied together in that group as one. If you have already found this anomaly, you can skip all boxes from this point on. - There are some clickable items in the Crew Quarters, such as the planter and the showers/toilets.
Is the planter only for show? No.One anomaly is tied to the planter, but once you have found this one you can skip opening the planter. Unless you have All Anomalies ticked on in the menu settings which will shuffle all anomalies randomly instead of one at a time in a list untill all 50 has been seen before it starts over.
- What about the toilets and showers?
Yes and no again. A few anomalies are tied to this, but you can see/experience those without opening the doors to any of them. Some collectable items can spawn inside which you can see through the door without opening them. Once you have seen both anomalies and collected all 6 items, you can skip this particular part.

Anomaly Names.
A list of all anomaly names for those select few who might prefer to only get hints to what they are and their posible locations without seing it directly in screenshots.
The game tracks anomalies and can be seen in the Extra option in the menu when you have seen them if you dont have ‘all anomalies’ ticked on.
You need to exit game and and go back in to see this list
Only use this option if you feel you have done enough and given it a good try first!
Note that most of the anomaly names are spoilers in themself!
They give you a strong clue by their name as to what and where they might be.
Using this list is almost the same as just looking at the screenshots, but also not, and I have added them in in case someone would prefer this hint system, instead of resorting to the images.
I will spoiler tag them in 3 groups, easy, hard and very hard, same as with the screenshots. Use this to ur benefit and personal challenge and only hover over the group of choice you feel you need help with at the time.
There are 50 anomalies in total.
They are listed from easy, to hard, to very hard and this is of course subjective to a certain degree.
