Endless mode tips and tricks – items, perks and strategies
Items
Paws –
Count Clawcula = 10% damage to healing
2x Felina = Permanent pet (scales well with strength and works well with thorns and reflect)
Items –
2x Hand of Midas = Helps to clear the fluff and extra coins are critical at the start
2x Magnet = Good to keep all coins, Gauntlets and Brass Knuckles together
3x Brass Knuckles = Gives dodge and basic attack
1x Morning Star = Scales well once decent block is reached
2x Spiky Stressball = Good at the start until Amulet is found and then can be replaced(spikes become dangerous later on when thorns or reflect on higher levels)
3x Amulet of Strength = Needed to kick off strength which will scale with Strength potion
2x Holy Shield = Handy at the start of turns when dodge is not yet stacked
4x Gauntlet = Scales well once Pearl+ is activated a few times
2x Helmet = Scales with block to boost Morning Star
3+ Harpoons = 2x item usage (very important to maximise single use items)
Critical items –
5+ Strength potion = Cannot have enough at it is needed to take down the big enemies and scale with Pets
5+ Pearl+ = Pearl is useless unless it is upgraded but it will be needed to boost Gauntlet and Dodge buffs
Upgrade all items when convenient but Magnet and Hand of Midas are important at the start to get the coins rolling in.
Gauntlets and Brass Knuckles are important to keep defences up
Amulet and Potion of Strength are important to keep damage up
Pearls should also be prioritised as they are useless without the upgrade.
Clear out any unwanted items as they will interfere with the block buff and strength required to take down the big mobs
Perks
The two below are probably the most important as they will allow your buffs to increase dramatically.
Magic Mirror = First item per turn is used twice (handy for single use items to be used twice)
Picky = Individual items are used twice (handy for single use items to be used twice)
Critical Perks –
5x Saving Account = 10% extra coins based on current coins max 50 x 5
5x Golden Armor = 2 max health per 10 coins scales well when you have a lot of coins
4x Blockmaster = Scales well with Gauntlet buffs, Helmet and Morning Star
5+ Catsuit = Cannot have enough but focus on this once other perks are maxed
QoL Perks
4x Bargain = Will help keep costs down to save coins for Savings Account and Golden Armor
9x Hard Hits = 10% Crit per perk to make 100% Crit
3x Hoader = Additional 10 items per drop so try and allow all items to be visible at the start
2xMagnetism = Will help to pickup coins, Brass Knuckles and Gauntlets
Weaklings = 25% less HP for enemies
Anything else is a bonus once base perks are managed
Transmute
Hand of Midas = Metal > Plastic or Glass (easier to convert all fluff)
Amulet of Strength = Glass > Metal (more strength when magnets are used)
Spiky Stressball = Plastic > Metal (more strength when magnets are used)
Helmet = Metal > Plastic or Glass (easier to use when needed)
Strategies
Perks are probably the most important factors in the game so going for Chests first and then ? will help as there is a room with purple bags which contain a mystery perk and getting all 3 bags will make a huge different depending on what you get. (Refer to perks section for what you should be aiming for)
Items will vary but the order of usage will vary depending on the fight.
Brass Knuckles = Dodge stacking at the start will help as Catsuit will retain all unused dodges
Amulet of Strength = Will kick off the initial base strength which will be multiplied by Strength potion
Strength Potion = Multiply Strength to hit harder
Gauntlet = Base block buff per item used which will be multiplied by Pearl+
Pearl+ = Multiply dodge and block buff
Helmet = Once enough block has been retained by Blockmaster multiply it for Morning Star
Morning Star = Utilise the retained block for a big hit (loses 20% block)
Run killers
Too many attacks to handle on first few turns = Holy Shield is the only way to prevent this unless you can stack dodge fast enough
Thorns = Do not attack when you cannot take the thorns damage, let your pets do the dirty work or knock them out early if possible before stacks are too big
Reflect = No point doing a big hit if you cannot handle the reflected damage
Good luck and enjoy the game as hitting infinity is impossible!
