The Top of The Dream: Brief achievement guide

These two are obtained by completing the tutorial.

This one is obtained by running out of lives and continuing during the tutorial. Currently broken as of v1.1.0, but with depoting to a 2021 version you can earn it.

You will earn all of these upon completing the main game. You can use continues (they throw you back to the start of the stage you were on) and even farm lives by using the practice mode from the menu before continuing onwards.

You get these two at the final boss. You know that spell where fairies appear that can turn into some kind of windmills? One of these is for letting less than 9 fairies pass through the bottom, and the other is for the opposite.

These 4 are obtained by clearing the extra mode, unlocked after completing the main game in any manner. You have to do it in one sitting. Keep your heads high, it gets slightly easier at the end. You can do it!

Finally, these 8 are obtained by “perfectly eluding” some spells: you have to timeout them, and you can’t get hit at all during these attempts.

You may be wondering “I can’t read this at all, which ones do I have to check?” You can quickly compare by comparing the quoted names at the end of each achievement with the spell name, but to save you the hassle I included a quick video at the end showing all the specific spells in the above order.

You can bomb, but still don’t get hit at all.
