Welcome to ‘The Coma 2B: Catacomb’ code solutions guide! This article is a collection of all the codes you need to progress in the game, along with step-by-step instructions on how to solve the puzzles to obtain them. Please note that this is not a complete walkthrough, but rather a resource for the number and symbol codes in the game. Let’s get started!
Hospital Part 1
The note on the locker hints to use the children’s photo nearby to get the password.
Solution: 6 2 5 7 3 This is an annoying one, I think it kinda gets lost in translation
Mine
You’re given a lock with 4 animals, and rotating symbols below them to match.
How to Solve:
At the top of the mine, each miners barracks has a flag with an animal and a colour. Take that information, and match it to the paintings in storage.
Solution:
Snake – Green – Mountain
Oni – Red – Flames
Fox – Yellow – Flowers
Wolf – Blue – Seas
Code inside Buddha statue room:
Inside the Buddha statue room there is a lock that has no clue for how to unlock it. Continue on until you find a note later in the level that tells you what the combination is
Solution:
3 4 3 2
The code is as follows:
Number of Incense burners not shipped – Number of Jars – Number of Swords – Number of Crowns
This one is a bit confusing, as you find the note in a room with a jar, but that jar doesn’t count towards the totals
Police Station
After you find the chief, you’re instructed to get down to Cell A. To get the code, go to the Deputy Director’s Office, through Officer Lodging.
How to Solve:
Inside the Officer Lodging and the Staff Gym there are posters on the walls. From left to right the numbers/symbols are:
Lodging: 1 7 0 3 6 5 8 # *
Staff Gym: 7 4 3 9 5 8 *
Compare these 2 sets of numbers, find which appear in both lists, and that is the code.
Solution:
7 3 5 8 *
High School Main Building
While trying to get to Seho, you find his 3 computers keeping the door locked. Interact with each one and it gives you a clue on how to find each code. Going from left to right:
Old Storage Room
4th Floor Girls Bathroom
Medical Room
How to Solve + Solutions:
Old Storage Room
Talk to her, she asks for a card. The cards are in the staff room, in one of the desk drawers. Return it to her.
Solution: 9 2 0 3 1 8. She gives you the code outright.
4th Floor Girls Bathroom
Inside the bathroom there are 2 rooms, we will call them Front and Back. Front has the exit that leads back to the hall. Other than the exit out, all exits in Front lead to Back, and all exits in Back lead to Front.
Inside Front and Back there are 6 total posters, 3 in each area, and each 3 are unique to the area. They spell out the code in order, from left to right, but you may have to pause to read them.
Solution:7 8 0 2 6 3
I absolutely hate this puzzle. It’s impossible to read those numbers while running around, AND there’s 2 posters that are basically wrong. One poster looks like a Z more than a 2, and the 6 could either be a 6 or a 9 depending on if the game wants you to invert it (which you have to do for some of the classroom puzzles -.-
Medical Room
After talking to the girl in the medical bed, gather up the 6 pieces of paper from the ground and re-arrange them in your inventory to read the code. (Hint: The inventory is 3 wide and 2 tall, but the paper wants to be displayed 2 wide and 3 tall)
Solution:806721
Another Stupid puzzle. Apparently it’s reasonable to assume you can just decode chicken scratch from random scraps. It would be one thing if you could combine the papers into one, or rotate the pieces to have them fit better, but as it stands I’m genuinely convinced the actual solution is just buying photoshop and lining them up in there.
High School Gymnasium
The keys to the auditorium are in the girls locker room. Once you find out they’re there, go to the locker room and look at the locker farthest left to get the hint.
Solution:0821
Inside the girls bathroom there are 2 statues, one of which has a bag you can search. In the bag is an idol glowstick. Inspect the glowstick to see a birthday written on it, the birthday is the code to the locker
