Manny’s: 100% Achievement Guide

The following guide contains spoilers for this game. As this is a story driven experience, I would highly recommend completing your first play-through blind and then returning here, The following is not intended as a walk through for the game.

I would also like to give a shout out and thank “Spearji” for their guide you can find over in the discussions page for their work, as they made the first guide to get every achievement.

With that out of the way, let us begin!

Obtaining this achievement is necessary to progress the game. Simply click on the cardboard box located on the beach to start the fishing mini-game, and obtain a fish.

You can get this achievement at any point that you have access to Manny’s restaurant, simply jump in the ball pit and reap the rewards.

To get this achievement you need to press the talk button when speaking to Tyler the second time you enter Manny’s. Repeatedly press talk until his dialogue is exhausted.
Its a nice thing to do

You can get this achievement shortly after “Quite the Conversationalist” during the section of the game where you are activating the 7 seals of hell while being chased by Petrovsky.

Go into the only accessible freezer during the chase and look around on the metal shelves. You should see a blue cube, interact with it and it should give you the achievement.

This achievement is also required to complete the game. Simply activate all 7 seals of hell and the scene should play out!

It turns out it had plot relevance

You can get this achievement by beating the game without completing the optional mini puzzle of turning Petrovsky into an IED.

If you wish to get this achievement, the simplest solution would be to not grab this lighter located in the room with the yellow hatch.

This achievement is truly what separates the boys from the men. Coming recommended higher than a double manny combo, this achievement and ending is what makes this game special.

To start, you will want to grab the lighter you were expressly told not to take to get the Maneater Achievement before heading down into the basement.

From there, you will need to grab a couple of extra items and complete a small optional puzzle to be on track to get this achievement.

Play through the basement and progress until you come out of the flooded mine shaft. You should be in a room with sandbags, a generator, and a Japanese Navy Flag on the wall.
The key’s location

Approach the table past the sandbags and grab the key off of the table. Then proceed down the mine shaft opposite of where you came for about a second or two. You should notice a path to your right open up.

Proceed straight down this path past the first room. There should be another path if you go straight, follow it until you reach a semi circular room with wooden beds and a Japanese flag hanging on the wall. Go through the Japanese flag and a small crawl space until you reach a church like structure. From there, go to the back of the room where you’ll find a stone pulpit. On it should be a book and a blade.

Grab the Blade, retrace your steps back to the main shaft, and then proceed down it until you reach a room with a giant archway with teal runes on it.

Opposite of the archway, on the opposite side of the room is an artillery piece with a gate behind it.

Interact with the gate to unlock it using the key you picked up earlier. On top of a crate in the center of the room should be a bundle of dynamite.

Grab the dynamite and then proceed through the giant archway. Turn right and proceed straight until you see the body of Mr. Petrovsky, then interact with him

After Assembling the IED, proceed how you would normally to beat the game. To minimize spoilers, I’ll refrain from detailing what happens after this point.

All of the above can be achieved by playing the fishing mini-game, to start the fishing mini-game, you need to pickup the fishing rod. (a detailed guide was provided at the beginning of this document)

Be sure to read the tutorial provided, it may look complex but its relatively simple and easy to get the hang of! The fishing mini-game is easily doable to around level 8, where it starts to become more challenging.

How it feels catching Freddi 20 times in a row

After that, for your computer’s sake I personally recommend using a macro set to push the space bar for you. Although you are absolutely free to test yourself and strive to catch them all unassisted.

There are 11 fish, or levels total, with each fish having their own rare version. The chance of catching a rare fish starts at 50% at level one, and continues decreasing all the way down to 10% at level 11. All in all, you will need to do about 1-2 hours worth of grinding to catch every single fish.

In order to get the secret ending and achievement, you will need to catch all 22 fish. After that, a shell will appear on the beach. Interact with the conch and enjoy!
