Chore Cores
Quest Giver: Fenton
Location: Vaults, through a hidden vent you need to roll through
Get 20 clockwork cores from enemies. He will give you the Crimson key card.
Merchant’s Turmoil
Quest Giver: Faro
Location: Black Markets, after crossing a chasm with ladders there is a tunnel that leads to him. See photo for reference.
He wants you to clear out enemies threatening his shop. I’m not sure how many you need to for it to count. I forgot about the quest and came back near the end of the game and just killed normal dudes until I saw the “journal updated” prompt.
One Man’s Trash
Quest Giver: Leon
Location: Outskirts, inside a building where there is only one entrance and a red tesla coil on the other side of a wall. See photo for reference.
He wants you to keep an eye out for notes as these help him add new stock to his store.
Physician’s Notes – found in Irkalla in the upper left door in a group of apartments near the clinic above where Val stands. These notes unlock the Provisions map to buy which shows orb generators on the map.
Merchant’s Notes – About halfway through outskirts main stretch from a chest on the left side of a gate that you have to get around. These notes unlock the Maintenance map which shows the red telsa coil locations.
Scientists Notes – buy these from Faust for 1 AP. These notes unlock the plasma catalyst.
Engineer Notes – In Fornax, from the fast travel point, head left and drop down to the bottom of the room (next to bounty bot) and go right. Follow the path and drop down to the right. You need to hit a switch to activate the platforms above you. Jump up them to the very top to a chest with the notes. These notes unlock the Treasure map which shows all chests on the map.
Scavenger Notes – In the Scrap Sea after getting the Skeleton key there is a spikey room called the Pit of Despair with some platforming.
From the room entrance head right, then up and right again. The notes are in a chest. These notes unlock the Canine map which shows all Corgis.
Explorer’s Notes – In Sylva there is a large narrow room. In the room to the left of that kill some enemies and head down to the bottom left flower. Jump off of it and then air dash and double jump to go under the spikes and to a hidden room with a chest in it.
These notes unlock … something but I forget. Maybe more Infused Amanita? and an accessory.
Yorick’s Tools
Quest Giver: Yorick
Location: Irkalla, to the left of Vincent’s bar is a store with symbols and a gun
He wants you to locate his lost tools. You cannot complete this quest until you have double jump. Once you do, head to Vincent’s bar and jump up to the 2nd floor. Grab the Azure key card from room 202. Next continue on to Fornax to get back into the Vaults area from the beginning of the game. Backtrack to the room that had two keycard doors, and cases are you opened the Crimson one already. Use your Azure key card on the door and inside is Yorick’s tools. Return to him to get access to the chest in his shop which has the Sight Beam accessory inside.
A Fine Hat Indeed
Quest Giver: Teresa
Location: Outskirts, in apartment E, near the far right of the outskirts
She wants you to find her purple hat. From her location, head up and left through a gate. Continue up, kill some enemies and then head left to where there is a lever (watch out for the assassin here). After hitting the lever, go down through the gate we opened, then left and back outside. Continue left out the door and climb boxes to go up to another building entrance. Follow the path inside until it splits and go up to the left to enter the attic and fight another assassin. Open the chest for the hat! Return to Teresa and she will open the door next to her and you can get the accessory Renard’s Dog Tags.
Venom Sacs
Quest Giver: Leon
Location: Sylva, to the left of the Tether
Find 10 poison sacs. They have a chance to drop off of enemies in Sylva. Once you have all 10, return to Leon and he will give you the Carapace Vest accessory (immunity to poison so helpful once you’re done *eyeroll*).
