Abiotic Factor: Dr. V’s Guide to Ornate Keys

Greetings fellow scientists, it is I, Dr. V, once again to help you with all your farming needs. Today we will be going over opening this little fellas here.
You can’t stay locked forever

So lets go and thank the order for bringing us these little chests and Onward to Science!

So there is two good places to farm the order captains who have the keys.
These guys

Your two main points of farming them would be Manufacturing and then the Rise portal world as these are your most densely packed captain areas. Manufacturing is more worthwhile as there is many more there as you will see from this map here.

Start at the tram, follow the blue line

So for walking through this guide first exit the tram and head past the FORGE towards the crane. Your first captain will be hiding up in this building on the 2nd floor.

He is not happy about you being in his room

Following this exit the building and look towards the tunnel which leads to the train portal. Your second captain will be standing there.
Be careful of the void space next to him as his items fly off into it

After this one head up the tunnel and then take a left to the train portal room and you will find your next captain waiting outside of the collapsed train.

They should be more observant

Next, head into the train portal world to find your next quarry.

Make sure his items don’t fly off the train

Upon reaching the train exit now you want to turn around and head towards the mapping center where you will find your last captain of manufacturing.

And this concludes the last captain of manufacturing.

Now rise has two captains which may be worth it to hurry over there and grab them while you wait for manufacturing to respawn its plethora of captains. Direct your attention to these maps here.

Your two captains will be located in the office on the 2nd floor and then the final helipad, you cant miss them as they are pivotal to the progression of the portal exit.

Just watch out for the machine gun nest and itll be fine.

This guide will be continue to be updated as the facility opens up more as I’m sure that we will see more of these beret wearing boys. But for now they are the easiest keys to obtain given how plentiful they are so you can still be cursed by RNG but there is plenty of opportunity to keep smackin them down.
