Get ready to unlock the elusive “Tiger-chan of Dojima” ending in Dreams and Deadlines with this easy-to-follow guide. Follow these steps and you’ll be on your way to achieving this highly coveted ending in no time.
Disclaimer
It is recommended, though not necessary, that you get the normal ending for this game first, as this is not the canon ending.
Saturday
Go through the project documentation, doodle, look at your phone (make sure not to get distracted on Lumber Lass!), then starting working on the project.
Here’s the important part, when you have the option to call someone, instead choose to give up on the project.
The game will detect your Yakuza save data, and Kiryu will appear with a substory jingle. He’ll give you a short talk about not giving up on your presentation, and you’ll get a chance to continue with the game. Go on as normal, collecting project files. As long as you get 2-3 of the files tonight, you’ll be able to proceed with this ending. You need 5 of the 6 files in order for this ending to work.
You can:
Go to the meeting room and skim through the presentation, setting up for the air frying file on Sunday. (Though, you can also skim through the presentation on Sunday with Tiger-chan, so do as you please.)
Go to the break room, and drink the old coffee twice. If you don’t want this file, press the action button to snap out of the backflash.
Go to the window, and meet with Kini. Do not try to run and insult her, as this will lock you out of both the space file and the harvest file, limiting you to 1 file on Saturday and locking you out of the route entirely.
Go to your desk, call Miss Whiskey, party with her, then when prompted, time travel with Kini back to Saturday.
Remember, as long as you get more than 1 file tonight, you will be safe to proceed to Sunday.
Dream Sequence
Go upwards to the Tiger House, have Tiger-chan join your party, and then head south towards Mister Koala. Do NOT call Mister Koala cute or deforest the jungle on Lumber Lass if you need the adventure project file on Sunday. This will also prevent Kini from letting you go back in time on Monday, so avoid making her mad entirely.
After you get a coconut dropped on your head, the dream will end and you’ll continue onto Sunday.
Sunday
In there, you’ll meet Tiger-chan, and question her existence. After this, you’ll be able to show Tiger-chan around the office for a file. Make sure to call Hana so she knows that you’re at the office.
So, now:
If you did 2 files on Saturday, do all 3 these.
If you did all 3 files on Saturday, just do 2 of these.
Go to the various areas around the office, talking to Tiger-chan in each of them, before heading back to the window and talking with her for a project file.
When prompted to snoop around the desks, do so, and then call Skye. (If you didn’t check the presentation on Saturday, do that before calling her.) She’ll talk about why the ZINEBOT 6000 exists, and Penny will get inspired to make a project file.
When you return to your desk, Hana will call you, and ask you to fend off the aliens with the cannon. Do so, and you’ll get a project file regardless of your performance.
Now, with 5 of the 6 files completed. Feel free to rest your eyes. Do not play Lumber Lass to exhaustion, as this will put you on track to getting the 4-5 files ending instead.
Monday
Kiryu will wake you up early on Monday, a few hours before the presentation. He’ll bring you to the break room, and ask if you finished your project. You can lie and say yes, or admit the truth, but either way he’ll see that it’s undone.
He’ll give you another speech, before yet again departing. Penny will be inspired, and make a different sixth file than normal! (Note: If you have yet to get the achievement for creating all 6 project files, this will not give you it. You must go through the regular route to get that.)
Miss Whiskey will arrive after you finish the last file, and remark that you’re actually awake for once. You’ll sync up in the meeting room, and she will note that the file Kiryu inspired you to make looks strikingly similar to someone she’s seen before..
The game will continue as it does in the normal 6 file route. Blythe will fire you, Whiskey’s company will fail, and then Kini will call you and let you go back to Sunday night.
Choose to go back, and talk with Blythe about her evil plans. She’ll order the ZINEBOT 6000 to kill you, but instead of Skye showing up..
It’s Kiryu!
Blythe will freak out and try to charge Kiryu, but he quickly takes her knife and gives her a stern talking to. He tells you he’ll handle things from here and to get some rest, and Penny quickly passes out.
Miss Whiskey will wake you up, telling you that Blythe has disappeared and the meeting was dropped. Penny, though, awestruck by Kiryu, says she’s leaving the company to pursue a new path.
A short epilogue tells you that Penny has become a legend around the city for stopping criminals and helping the needy, getting a tattoo of Tiger-chan on her back.
You will net the “Tiger-chan of Dojima” achievement upon the ending screen popping up.
End / Q&A
Q: When I gave up, Kiryu didn’t appear?
A: The save data needs to be currently present on your device, and not on something else like a Steam Deck. Judgment, Lost Judgment, and Ishin! will not work, either.
Q: Despite following the instructions, I did not receive this ending?
A: You must have done something wrong. Go back through, making sure you got only 5 files, did not make Kini or Tiger-chan mad, or Lumber Lass to sleep either night.
Q: Where is the achievement in the Steam achievement list?
A: It’s very hidden. You can only see it if you get it.
Q: I don’t own the Yakuza games, but I want this achievement! What can I do?
A: Buy the games, or join a family with someone who has them. If you can’t do either of these, you’re unable to get the achievement.
