Find the Orange Narwhal: Full Walkthrough – Find the Orange Narwhal!

Hello! This is my second guide I’ve written on steam, so apologies in advance if it’s a bit shaky. Find the Orange Narwhal is a very fun game, especially when you figure it out by yourself. But, sometimes it can get a bit confusing (personal experience) so I’ve written up this guide to help people like me get through without quitting.

I will emphasise though (again), please try as much as you can to figure things out yourself. It’s much more fun that way.

Make sure to regularly save on each path as you may do something stupid or want to go back to a choice.

You need 3 items in order to unlock the endgame (Apocalypse).

1. Beer: Either help the Mermaids or Pirates (Path 3)
2. Money: Either rob the bank or help the Police (Path 1/2)
3. Noodles: Help the Ninjas (Path 1)

An achievement guide is attached at the end for all you 100% weirdos (I’m kidding I love achievement hunting as well).

Allow me to emphasise again, EVEN IF YOU LOVE COLLECTING ACHIEVEMENTS I POLITELY REMIND YOU TO TRY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BY YOURSELF. THAT’S WHAT MAKES THE GAME SUPER FUN.

Always open to feedback btw! And feel free to skip past any parts you may have done or want to do, and try do as much yourself as possible.

Well, without further ado, let’s begin!

In this path, you will be a snitch for the police, and get some achievements. Make sure you save before you get any of the deadly achievements:

1. Click the door in your room, take the elevator and enter the Police station. Talk to the cop, take the radio, click the edge of the screen (like Esc) then click the edge again (I’ll just call it Esc from now on)
2. Click the bus sign, enter Chinatown and go to the Arcade. Play the Ninja Assassin game, if you die, just click Retry and then a Skip button appears after a few retries. No penalty. The Ninja shall appear and give you a smoke grenade.
3. Take the smoke grenade, Esc the arcade and Chinatown and take the bus back.
4. Now click on the path in front of the Red building, the left path, then the right path, then enter The Dock.
5. Use the Smoke Grenade on the pirates, enter the small hatch at the bottom, and you will be transported to the noodle shop.
6. Enter the door at the back, then click on that back door and click on the temple.
7. TIME TO SNITCH!! Click the police radio and NOW SAVE!!!
8. Sit there and do nothing, and you’ve gotten Hesitation is Defeat. and the MONEY BAG. You now can skip the clown section, unless you want the achievements.
9. Go back to your save and keep shooting the monk!!! You’ve now gotten Boys in Blue!!
10. With the money bag (depends which path you took, if you don’t have it, go to the Clown section) and the noodles, head off to the Pirate section to get the final item!

Make sure you save frequently before a death action!! 🙂

1. Exit your flat and take the bus, then enter the clown tent. Talk to the clown and take the letter.
2. Enter Chinatown then the Fireworks shop. SAVE!!! Then click on the bomb. You’ve now got the A Nobel Death achievement. Don’t click on it again till later!
3. If wanting to complete the game: Do the Ninja steps until you receieve the noodle box. Otherwise skip.
4. SAVE!!! Then walk into the Police station with the bomb. You will get Thrown into the Slammer achievement.
5. Load up your save just click it as soon as you leave. You now have A Nobel Death.
6. Load up your save,
7. Now exit Chinatown, take the bus then take the right, then left path, then click on the bit between the red and blue buildings. Click on the door, then the other door, then the leftmost door, then the left door again. Click on the clown.
8. Put on a smile! Click the blown out wall, take the shotgun and exit the circle. Headshot each of the police, quickly!
9. MID SHOOTING: SAVE!!! Now just sit there and do nothing. You will now get Police Brutality.
10. Now continue onto the Mermaid / Pirate section to progress the game!

You now need some beer. You got two choices. Mermaids or Pirates.

1. Go back to the police station/pub place if you’re not already there.
2. Turn right near the red building, then turn right again.
3. Enter the dock and take the stairs.
4. Click on the pirate with the sword, and take the harpoon, then dive in the water.
5. Save your game! then load the game separately and kill the mermaid, for the achievement. You will now have Beer, and Arrr! achievement.

Why did I tell you to save your game? This is why.

1. Load that save up, and when you have to shoot the mermaid, sit there and do nothing. you’ll get Davy Jones’ Locker.
2. Load up the save again, and now shoot the pirate! Talk to the mermaids and take the tool.
3. Exit the dock, head back to the Police/pub station (just do inverse of directions above) and now take the bus.
4. Go into the clown tent, then click left to go outside, you will see a Fire Hydrant. Smash it with the tool. You’ll now get Under the Sea achievement, and beer.

This is the guide to getting Beer. Once you have all the three items (Noodles from stealing the Pirates’ loot, AFTER completing this path)

You are now at the final part of the game. Make sure you have a Noodle Box, a money bag and a keg of beer. (Go to Ninjas for noodle and money, and Pirates for the beer.)

To make the proceeding parts much easier, try help the police path then the clown robbery so you get the good gun, and also get the Help the King achievement.

Now that you have progressed in whichever path you have chosen, now all that remains is to complete the game! (obviously)

1. Click to the right of the Cornershop, then click on the Alleyway with the Green Rubbish Trolley, you will see a door. Click this door, then click the Door of the Bathroom, in which you will see the King himself.
2. Talk to the King, and he will take your Noodles & Beer in return for an interesting item that you can use in the same room to summon Genie. Unshackle him by clicking his wrist.
3. He will offer you a Key, and tell you the location of the Orange Narwhal (in Cliefwood).
4. What ensues is a true test of Aim. You will see the NPCs now in the form of Zombies! Shoot the first three. Now you need to go to the Park, there are two ways to do this:

   Helicopter Route:

5. Go into the Police Station. Click the Door on the left, then the stairs on the left, you will now be on the Rooftop. Click the Police Officer next to the Helicopter, he will ward off the Zombies for you, and it may seem like your lucky break, but the chaos doesn’t end there. You will have unfortunately crashed into the Park, and now be met with 3 new Zombies, shoot them of course.

   Vault Route:

6. Go to the Alleyway that is to the left of The Dock, then go down the stairs, and to the left, where you will be able to access the Bank, shooting all the Zombies on the way.
7. Climb the stairs and exit the Bank, then click right to enter the Park
8. Take the left path, then take the right path, you will now be at the exact same point as if you took the Helicopter Route.
9. Now you will need to navigate back to China Town through the Park, read carefully!
10. First click the bottom of your screen to go backwards, you will see two paths, take the path on the left. Then you will see three paths, take the path on the left. Go left along this path, until you are met with two more paths, take the path on the lower left, and go along it until you see two more paths, take the path on the right.
11. You will now see China Town, click on it and shoot the three Zombie Store Owners. Then click the China Town sign and shoot the Zombie Clowns. Take the path to the left of the Circus, then click on the door of the house on the right.
12. Open the Door with the Key, and at that, the game has been completed. Good job for making it this far!

Missing any achievements, or don’t care about the faff? Look here! Just a simple description for each achievement in case you don’t want the full walkthrough waffle and all that.

1. Police Brutality: While robbing the bank, sit there and do nothing while the cops shoot at you.
2. YOLO: After getting every other achievement (preferably so you don’t struggle), complete the game without dying. So skip all the blowing up, doing nothing, etc…
3. Under the Sea: Shoot the pirate under the sea, then go to the hydrant next to the circus tent and smash it.
4. Found the Orange Narwhal: Complete the game once. You can die as much as you like.
5. Long Live the King: Go through with the clown robbery, and go through with the help the police path so you get two guns. Then enter the apocalypse, and the cutscene should show the king with you.
6. Hesitation is Defeat: After snitching on the ninjas, do nothing while ninjas are dodging in the temple.
7. Boys in Blue: Snitch on the ninjas after getting access to their temple via the ninja game and stealing the pirates loot using the grenade
8. Davy Jones’ Locker: when the pirate asks you to shoot the mermaid, do nothing.
9. Hangman: After shooting the pirate under the sea, go back to the dock.
10. Thriller: As the apocalypse starts, don’t shoot the zombie. Will probably get it anyway as I got it quite a lot due to my major skill issue. (Police gun helps w the zombies!!!)
11. In the Shadows: Do the ninja game, steal the pirates loot, gain access to their temple.
12. A Nobel Death: After getting the bomb from delivering clown’s letter to the fireworks place, click on it.
13. Why so serious? Go through with the robbery.
14. Arrrrr! Kill the mermaid under the sea.
15. Doin’ time: After getting the bomb, walk into the bank or police station. Good idea.

Short afterword: This game is meant to be one where you figure it out yourself, so like stated before, I highly recommend just mucking about and seeing what happens, and figuring out what to do. But this is here if you’re struggling more with the game, or need to 100% the game.
