ACHIEVEMENTS
On the main menu navigate to the CREDITS section.
2. OFF TO SEA
Upon starting a new game you’ll be prompted to buy some supplies at the general store for the quest ‘New Beginning.’ Make sure to save 50 gold for the next quest. Exit the general store and head all the way left to your ship and make sail from Black Shore to Cramton.
9. FROM THE SEA WE RISE
While in Cramton the quest ‘Pirate Fortress’ will prompt you to build the first structure (this is what you saved the 50 gold for) The full achievement requires the rest of the town to be built with the exception of the storage cache and its upgrades. Total cost will be around 6,000 gold. Time to start saving.
3. IT BE RAINING GOLD
This achievement requires 25,000 gold to be spent. It’s best to attain this at the same time as buying the Man of War ship as it costs 50,000 and is required for the next achievement.
4. BIGGER IS BETTER
Buy the Man of War ship for 50k. You can buy it in Mairyporan.
5. NEW RIDE
Buying any ship should trigger this achievement – if you absolutely must buy a new ship sooner rather than save for the Man of War it is advised to get a cheaper one to reduce further grind.
6. BACKPACKER
On the map travel screen the distance between yourself and a chosen destination is shown. Travel somewhere 1,000km or greater away from you. It should pop after you’ve made it onto land.
7. NOMAD
Same as before but double the distance. Complete a voyage of over 2,000km.
8. TWENTY THOUSAND MILES ABOVE THE SEA
This one is accumulative travel distance per playthrough. It’ll likely unlock while you’re completing the rest of the game. Requires 20,000km in total.
10. THE CURE
This is a specific quest named ‘Tough Decisions’ that starts at the general store on Marina. You’ll be tasked to deliver medicine to San Doggo or Shinowaga, the decision is your choice.
11. FURRY FRIEND
This is a specific quest named ‘FUR BUTT’ that starts in the general store on the island of Yamakoshigen. Go from the general store to the tavern and talk with the npc there. When you exit the tavern a small ship at the bottom of the screen will be running to the left. Go chase it.
12. CONQUEROR
This requires you to capture a singular island.
13. EXPANDING AMBITIONS
This requires you to capture 6 islands. Probably the last achievement to hunt. After getting the Man of War fill up your crew and plunder the whole map.
14. FRIENDLY PIRATE
You’ll get this one naturally by completing quests. Keep in mind the delivery jobs and random events don’t count toward this – only quests received from NPCs on islands. If you haven’t managed it by now roll through all the islands (and their buildings) again checking for anybody with an exclamation point above their head.
15. PIRATE HUNTER
This one should be naturally attained by now aswell but if you haven’t managed it go fight some more pirates. You need to beat 25 in total.
