“Welcome to the ultimate guide for unlocking all the achievements in Rauniot! While most of them are easy to get, there are a few tricky ones. In this guide, I’ll break down the requirements for each achievement. It’s best to play through the game multiple times to discover all the options, but if you need a little help, here’s everything you need to do. Just a heads up, some of the more unusual requirements will be hidden to avoid spoilers.”
Now you know
Simple enough. On the main menu you have the magazine on top of the keyboard. Just click it and read through it. The achievement should pop after you get to the last page.
The end of the journey
Just finish the game. Doesn’t matter what choices you end up making, you’ll get this once you get to the end credits.
Chainsaw dance
Just don’t shoot Esko and finish the game. If you shoot him, you can skip the dog food collecting and just collect the spark plugs, the belts from his hideout and keys from his corpse. The achievement should pop in the credits.
Peace and coffee
Like with “Chainsaw dance”, just don’t shoot Viljo and finish the game. If you shoot him, you get the keypad password and you can’t ask him to help you with Sector 6. The achievement should pop in the credits.
One down
Use your gun to shoot either Esko or Viljo. If you try to shoot Elve, a guard will snipe you before you can shoot.
Two down
Shoot BOTH Esko and Viljo. You’ll get this while you’re doing “From time to eternity”.
Eagle Eyes
The shell is next to the crashed car on the other side of the road (check the cursor area in the screenshot)
Radiation poisoning
to Sector 6 without the protective suit. You don’t have to check the room with the crutches and suit while in the shelter.
Cool down
You have to kill Esko and finish the game. In the end you see Toivo trying to get the locomotive ready and after the explosion a fan from the locomotive lands on his head. The achievement should pop in the credits.
Zero shots
The “good” ending. Just go through the game without using the gun on anything. You don’t have to shoot anybody in the game if you don’t want. The only difference the gun makes is you can skip some of the fetch quests. The achievement should pop in the credits.
From time to eternity
The bad ending. You have to kill both Esko and Viljo AND go to Sector 6 without the protective suit. Aino gets overwhelmed by her choices and decides to kill herself.
Final words
Hopefully this’ll help you to get the last pesky achievements. Thanks to Wizard Worm for his walkthrough. It helped me during some of the more difficult puzzles in the game on my first run.
