The Forest: The Forest – Vegan Achievement Guide

Hi there, firstly.. ty so much to choose to read my guide. I’m just a fellow gamer who likes to hunt achievements in the games I liked to play, and by doing so I discovered that this one is quite difficulty to get, so.. I’m making this guide to help you all with it.

It’s my 1st time doing this, I hope I get it right 🙂

Before starting, I’m dropping the map of the game for reference so you can see where you are in the game as we go deeper into the walkthrough.

The achievement by itself seems ‘hard’ to get, but trust me.. it’s not, just follow this step-by-step that I made researching walkthroughs trough out Youtube and by reading forums, etc.. and you’ll get him in no time!!

Remember.. try to do it fast, because your hunger is your timer 😉

– Craft a Spear (requires 2 sticks)
– Open all suitcases available in the crash zone
– Go to main cannibal village to stock up (circuit boards, dynamite, soda pops..)

– Enter the nearest cave (Cave 2)
– Get the Map by the dead body up ahead

– Exit the cave and get the Red Can of Paint (skip some cannibals by going crouched through them)

– Go NW, to the Katana Cave

– Take a left (Get the Katana, craft explosives and take the flashlight)

– Exit the cave and go West, eat some blueberries

– Get to the Rebreather Cave

– Go straight.. break some wood planks and rappel 2 times to get the Rebreather

– Climb the ropes and take a right to exit the cave (Climb a rope as well)

– All the way West, go to the Keycard Cave (near the containers at the beach)

– Enter the cave, descend and take a right into some wood planks, go through them and take out the Armsy down there (explosives) OR light him up and run for the keycard.

– Now go to the Climbing Axe cave

– Climb down, and keep going through the cave
– Run around the hole and get the Climbing Axe

– Go back into the cave and save the game

– Then.. parkour your way down into the sinkdown 🙂

– Sprint into the water and just run through the way
– Get into the Lab and run it
– See Timmy

– Get to Megan and fight her (Strategy: Get behind the auto-doors, wait for her to rush into you and spam Dynamite, Arrows, anything really..)
– Pick up Megan, get the last keycard

– Rush it and use the elevator
– Finish the game (take the plane down)

Well.. that’s it. I hope you got the achievement, if you haven’t, I’m sorry to inform you that you may have killed some type of fauna on the way :c
