In this guide, we will show you how to obtain all the achievements in Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles. Follow these steps to ensure you conquer the game and unlock every achievement. Let’s get started!
Introduction
Tower Achievements
“Consider yourself introduced.”, “It’s squishy, it swims and it’s got ears!”, “Going down?”, “Jellies-a-plenty!”, “Divert all power to lasers!”, “Shockingly delightul!” and “I am the Master Mote!”
These are pretty much unmissable. If you’ve managed to finish world one and miss one of these, just play it again and make sure to get that tower.
Complete World 2
Exactly what the title says. Finish world 2 and you should get it.
Reclaimed my throne!
Start a new game, select world 1, and select the yellow mastermote. Then play through all of world one. You can try to get other achievements while doing this.
Collect them all!
Collect every artifact. Every level has one artifact. This might take multiple runs to get. Sadly there is no level select, and you can’t see exactly which artifact you’re missing, but you can get close. In the menu you can go to “Artifacts” to see which types you’re missing, and go to “Load Game” to see which level you’re in. You can use a guide by Innocentive to find out where they might be.

Deathless Achievements
“Don’t Die” and “Don’t Die Again”.
Beat worlds 1 and 2 without dying respectively. Make sure not to press “Restart at Checkpoint”, because that counts as a death
These ones are doable. There are some tricky jumps like at the start of world 2, but for the most part every level has a pretty safe solution. If a level seems risky, especially if you risk guards bouncing you off the platform, try to find a safer solution.
One more tip if you’re alright with using exploits. If you do fall off, quickly open the menu and close the game. Again, do not press “Restart at Checkpoint”, but you can close the window or close it any other way. Pressing “Exit To Desktop” should work as well. This way the death isn’t saved. Even if you do die, you might be alright. I haven’t been able to test this with the achievement, but I’m pretty sure the game only saves when you go through the level gates. If you’ve died you can close and reopen the game, and you should be fine.
Faster than the devs!
A speedrun achievement. You need to finish world 1 faster than an hour and 23 minutes. Do note that the timer is bugged. Your save file might say something under 1:23 and you could still not get the achievement. This one is tough but doable. I got it on my 4th run through the game, and with these tips I would have gotten it on my 3rd.
The devs beat the game without skips. They played every level and played all of them normally. If you do this too, you can beat them. Or you can use skips. You can try to find janky ways to make individual levels faster. But there’s one that saves a lot more time:
You can skip the power jelly tower. I’d recommend that you try to reach the elevator yourself, with the jelly still the other color. Just in case I’ll try to explain how: Get the guard to go across the light beam like normal. With the jelly, ride over the guard and release it on the extenders. If you stay on the jelly, the extenders should go all the way up and let you go the rest of the way to the elevator.
And then there’s the exploit from the previous section. The game only saves your time when you go through a level gate. If you keep dying or a level takes too long, you can close and restart the game. Don’t overuse this. Your run doesn’t need to be perfect, and you don’t want to burn yourself out.
